Edi got to go to the beach for the first time today! She did great off leash and had so much fun (except she kept trying to do drive-bys on Pip lol). She got her toes wet and it made her have super zoomies, got to dig holes, and carry gross crusty feathers. Good day for Edis.

This came up on the silken discord but thought I’d share here too. A comparison of front assemblies in some of my borzoi, going from slowest (left) to fastest (right).

My slowest borzoi has the most return of upper arm. The prettiest mover and only AKC conformation champion of the 4 is the 2nd slowest. The 2nd fastest has the straightest upper arm, though she also has a 3pt major in conformation.

Pip got her so whipped she flopped over as soon as she walked in the room and saw her sleeping on the snoozer

Edi and Pip play and roughhouse and Edi is a little sister menace all the time. The only time she is suuuuuuuper careful is when Pip is lying down somewhere. She went into M's office this morning and Pip was across the room curled in a bed and partially concealed by a blanket, and Edi just immediately went Wormmode.

She is also extremely careful getting on the big bed if one of us is laying in it, cause sometimes Pip is fully hidden under the blankets and will lose her shit if she gets stepped on. So Edi will creep onto the edge and then sloooowly army crawl across to make sure she doesn't step on a trap.

I snuck them to a park on my lunchbreak and pip refused to play. Just put herself on this hill and pouted til we left.

do not raise a word against those crusty little white dogs in my presence. 1. they are some of the only breeds that were bred to live in a dumpy apartment not like a golden retriever who longs to swim and run and can’t even chill on your dumb couch cuz of the hair 2. You’ll be singing a different tune when the crusty little dog is a tiny little puppy and is the shade of a beautiful jasmine bloom… and you make fun of the old ladies for babying them when they’re crusty and old but someone will be taking care of YOU when you’re old and crusty and you will wish they love you as much as those old ladies love their crusty dogs….
