I highkey kinda hate fanon Sparda trio because I always see people make their dynamic as “Dante is dumb and mean, Vergil is smart and mean, and Nero is the only good one.”

Mainly because I love Dante and think people misunderstand him too much and I feel like ever since DMC5 people like to downplay Dante’s kindness to uplift Nero even though the premise of DMC is that Dante is a demon who’s kind and empathetic to people. Then Nero eventually shows up and follows that same path.
