The recpie is pretty simple and can be made ahead of time and frozen, but freezer space is at a premium at my house so I just get the bags.

If you like mushrooms, here's a mushroom-rice recipe I got from a Japanese cookbook. I'll type the whole thing but honestly it can be simplified really easy. You can sub out just about any type of mushrooms, and you dont need the cooking sake, it just helps with smoothness (you can also replace with mirin if youre non-alcoholic).
3 cups of rice, 2 cups of mushroom (I prefer a bundle of shimeji, and two king oysters as well as a shiitake or two), 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 teaspoons sake/mirin, 3 cups stock (veggie or dashi work well).
Wash rice and let rest
Prep mushrooms. If using dried shiitake, soak in hot water first. Go with whatever texture you prefer, but I find quartering works best for smaller mushies and thin slices for the shiitake.
Toss mushies in soy sauce.
Mix sake and stock with rice, then add the mushrooms.
Essentially: cook rice as nornal. This includes using a normal cycle on a rice cooker.
You can also add meat to this recpie. Ive used crumbled sausage before, all I did different was cook the sausage in the rice cooker first and left a little grease in when pulling the cooked sausage out. Its a great side dish but also has enough protein (even sans meat) to work as a simple lunch.

Make the crumb crust for cream cheese tiramisu.
When the crumb crust is crunchy, add the espresso powder and pulse or stir to blend the two components.
Now, combine the crumb crust with the melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Pack the crust as firmly as you can with your hands, the back of a measuring cup, or other similar objects, then place it in the freezer to cool for a few minutes while preparing the cream cheese tiramisu filling.
Make the cream cheese tiramisu filling
Set aside the whipped cream while you blend the mascarpone, cream cheese, and granulated sugar for about two minutes. Add the confectioner's sugar, 14 cups Kahlua, vanilla extract, and two tablespoons espresso powder to the cheese mixture and beat for another two minutes. Finally, using a rubber spatula, incorporate the whipped cream into the cheese mixture. Remove the crust from the freezer and distribute half of the cheesecake filling on top to form the first layer.
Prepare the ladyfingers on top of the tiramisu
Warm a cup of water before adding the remaining espresso powder and Kahlua, which is the sauce for the ladyfingers. As Jaime Shelbert points out, this recipe isn't particularly complicated, but she does have one word of caution: "The only thing I'd avoid is over-soaking the ladyfingers. Otherwise, the center layer will be soggy."
As you finish dipping each ladyfinger, place it on top of the initial layer of cheesecake. It's acceptable to break any ladyfingers to make them fit because the second cheesecake layer will hide them. Once the ladyfingers are in place, you may top the cream cheese tiramisu with the other half of the cheesecake filling.
Before serving, chill the cream cheese tiramisu
Even after you've created your tiramisu cheesecake, it won't be ready to eat for a few hours. Jaime Shelbert suggests freezing it for at least six hours, if not overnight. I want to develop my cooking skills. This time, I again did not use any recpie. I prepared some chicken in herbs, however, instead of cooking it on a pan, I put it in the oven, similarly to the young potatoes. I added some salt on top of them, as well as olive oil, and then I put them in the oven for 40 minutes. As a side dish, I used the vegetables that I had at home, namely: salad, bell pepper, cucumber and tomato. Today I made myself an omelette with a pizza topping. I did not use a recpie for it, it was fully my own invention. I just prepared a simple omelette using an egg, flour and milk. I also added some dried oregano to give it a more italian aroma. After turning it onto the other side i covered it with tomato passata, mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, olive oil and some more dried oregano. When it was all nice and ready I added a handful of basil leaves to give it a more fresh look. It tasted very italian and i enjoyed the meal, hence i plan on making it more frequently. It took 30 minutes to make.
