Here are 4 different noteworthy skills parents must teach their kids to reduce sibling rivalry:

1. Promote Empathy: Empathy plays a crucial role in managing sibling rivalry efficiently. Encouraging children to understand each other’s feelings and perspectives fosters compassion and cooperation. Parents can facilitate empathy by actively listening to their children’s concerns, encouraging them to express their emotions, and teaching them to see situations from each other’s point of view. This helps siblings develop a sense of empathy and respect for each other, reducing the likelihood of conflicts escalating. Additionally, acknowledging each child’s unique strengths and accomplishments individually rather than comparing them will also promote supportive sibling dynamics.

Paulina and Regulus

Okay, I'mma post this cuz I think I'm going insane (I probably am), but here me out. There's too many coincidences that point out to there being a connection between the two, even if don't know exactly what kind of connection.

First let's start for the most obvious thing... Paulina's blue polka dot scarf.

It's not the same as Regulus', obviously, but it is very similar. Yet, if this was the only coincidence I wouldn't be making this theory... yet here I am.

Next it's this peace sign sticker that's next to Paulina's picture at the restaurant, but also on Regulus' backpack. Again, on it's own could be just a coincidence, but maybe it's not.

In that picture it says Apple on the background, and there's an apple in that same poster, and I don't think I need to saw how this connects to Regulus. To the side there's also a vinyl disc, like those Regulus always carries with her, which wouldn't be a big deal... except we're in the 1990's, when using CD's was already a lot more popular than vinyls.

And there's also the fact that Paulina's mom married J's father, who was from a world-famous family of alchemists. How is this relevant to Regulus? Well, she's an alchemical genius. Maybe Paulina's mom had an interest in alchemy too and that's how she ended up meeting J's dad.

Now... I want to point out that, at least to me Regulus and Paulina look quite similar.

It's not a one-to-one resemblance, of course, but they look similar enough for me to think they might be related, maybe, especially since Paulina's blue scarf was a gift from her parents. That said... as funny as it'd be to say to Regulus "So you are a mother!", I don't think that's the case at all. Firstly because Paulina is French, while Regulus is British, but most importantly because Paulina is human; she doesn't have any powers at all.

Of course we don't know Regulus' lineage, so she could be only half-arcanist, and therefore she'd be able to have a mostly-human child if she married a pure blood human, but... I don't think that's the case. Sonetto says in ch1 that Regulus' talent is rated "S", which most likely mean she's either pure blood, or very close to it, so any child she had would be at least a half-blood arcanist.

That said... the dates would match. Regulus was 15 in 1966, and lets assume Paulina was the same age when she left J, let's say 1989, one year before the event takes place. That'd mean Paulina was born in 1974, and Regulus would've been 23 years old at that point. However, if she is Paulina's mom, she died very young (around 30 years old?), as we know Paulina and J became orphans soon after becoming sibilings... and, believe it or not, the fact that Regulus would die young is actually hinted at by Mr. Apple in the mini chapter after ch7.

So... it is possible that Regulus had a child with a French person, said child, Paulina, happened to be born without powers despite her arcanist lineage (like Kumar, for example), then they moved to San Francisco, where Regulus met J's father, bonded with him thanks to their shared love of alchemy, got married and then died soon after. However... idk, it doesn't seem right to me? I think there might be different kind of connection between them, although I'm not sure what.

Maybe I'm just losing my head, idk. Most likely, honestly, but it's fun to speculate XD

I'd like to know... how do you think weddings at devildom are like? If there is a wedding ceremony, of course. I can't stop thinking about it, and I'd like to know your opinion :)

Devildom Wedding Headcanons

Rings

• Rings are also part of Devildom relationships. Most are extravagant and include the demon’s sigils in the jewels or the band. Necklaces or other clothing with the demon’s sibilant are commonly gifted to show they are engaged and who to.

• Not all demons care to wear rings or jewelry, as most love fights and chaos and don’t want it to be lost. They may opt for dowry, or something they desire instead as a form of engagement.

Decorations

• Like most of the Devildom decorations involve, bones, beating hearts, and other gothic/horror related items. The colors of the venue are usually dark unless they prefer something else.

• Almost all the flowers of the Devildom are horrific or partially sentient so great care is spent choosing which ones to use, if any at all.

Attire

• The tradition of white dresses was started by an English monarch so that’s not something too common in the Devildom, though based on card art, it may have been adopted by them since they regularly interact and learn about human culture.

• I believe darker colors are most common for wedding dresses but specific colors like red or gold are common for nobility, or their house colors.

Wedding Vows

• Demons would take their true forms as their partners are accepting them as they are.

• There are no religious vows. They probably ask for blessings from Denizens of Darkness or from the ruling monarch.

• In the past, marriage wasn’t really a thing. They likely just announced they were together like in olden days or had some kind of personal mating ceremony.

Food

• I imagine the food is mostly rare varieties meat, the rarer the more impressive/rich they are.

• Some food is likely human as this is still a thing in the Devildom. Even under Diavolo’s rules, demons still desire and consume humans though it’s not often talked about.

• They may even drink a celebratory chalice of blood (Who knows who it belongs to)

Honeymoons

• Demons are wild, some weddings may devolve into orgies, especially among friends if family isn’t invited.

• Some nobles and monarchs may have ceremonial robes they use, a specific place they go to, steps of execution etc.

• Either way, being demons, honeymoons are intense and the majority is spent in bed, or wherever they choose to have sex.

Traditions

• Some demons choose to carve/burn/magically place their seals on each other as a sign they belong to each other.

• There are probably some form of sacrifices varying on their preferences. Some probably get away with human sacrifices if they had a pact.

Interpretations (idk I'm not a huge slugcat guy) -

Monk: Adopted older sibiling to Survivor. Different "type" of slugcat and thus has different social behaviors and appearance. Somewhat stoic yet brave, a lot of their time is spent in solidarity or observing nature. They're usually the one to save their sib from trouble with this knowledge

Survivor: Wreckless and rowdy, their ability to survive the situations they put themselves into is what earned them their title. Related to Gourmand and shares their "barble" overgrowths, yet hasn't quite grown to full size. Will mature over the course of their journey until reunited with Monk

Hunter: Extremely dedicated to their purpose and doesn't allow much else distraction. Takes pride in their instincts and ability to kill other creatures to try and prove they're more than the sickness slowly killing them. Thick dewlap of skin that makes lethal blows to the throat difficult

Gourmand: A mix of intelligence, ingenuity, and strength has made them extremely respected among their community. Their word carries heavy sway and new traditions are making a wave due to their positive influence. Possess a mild mutation which causes "barble" overgrowth, also lending to naturally being larger than average

Spearmaster: Extremely off-putting to others of their species, their long neck, stark eyes, and strange plating(??) makes it quite a disturbing sight. They neither notice nor care about this however, being almost entirely socialized by iterators. Calcified tubes grow out of their pores, becoming their feeding spears, but they also grow benign ones in other spots like the face

But then after that all of these are subject to change, change, change. Usually the first few stay pretty consistent though.

Purely audio. You mean, I just like the way they sound? That’s it? Without considering the lyrics and the meaning? I don’t know how to do that, I’ve never considered it, let me think.

2. Vignette - Because I like the one-two-punch sound of the drums, like you’re beating something up in a suspenseful action scene where you’re seconds away from losing the fight. That’s what it sounds like to me. And I love the vulture-shriek effect. And I love the contrast of the monotone-verses and then the high desperate chorus.

3. Holding Onto You - Nothing beats the tempo-changing songs. And you want to sing along to every part of this song.

4. Pet Cheetah - makes me want to run.

5. Redecorate - I love the early-2000s tone of this song, and the effects in the background put me in the mood of someone who’s sitting around in their bedroom, tapping like a pen or something blandly against a desktop, thinking in the same old ruts over and over, until the chorus hits and it’s another one of those desperation-cries.

6. Heavydirtysoul - I like Josh Dun on the drums in this song.

7. Guns For Hands - I like that I can hear Tyler’s older, not-afraid-to-be-creaky and the voiceless palato-alveolar sibilant (I looked that up!) thing he does in this song. Because I think it’s a song that recognizes weakness, like all of their songs, so he sounds kind of like a child. If you wanted to make fun of his intonation in this song you could, there’s ammunition there (I’d get foaming mad but you could) but that’s the point, that in the song he’s talking to broken kids and relating to them, so why wouldn’t he just sound how he sounds? We said “purely audio” but I can’t do it.

8. Fall Away - It sounds like how it feels to not want to fall away.

9. Lavish - I didn’t like this one so much because I couldn’t be 100% sure what it meant, and so that always bugs me, but then I saw them perform it live and now I can’t her the song without the sound of it reminding me of having so much fun in the arena with them with it. Makes me want to put on sunglasses.

10. At the Risk of Feeling Dumb - Probably my most-played song from Clancy the first week it came out (after Vignette) because the way Tyler screams reminds me of the way he screamed way back when I was but a wee teenager listening to his basement album.
