The people were not even protesters, they are customers and staff from a dessert shop. The shop offer free dessert to the protesters when there was a demonstration in the areas (Shumshuipo).

Today (1 October 2019) the police search the shop and the people in it. Two people were arrested.

Guess it's an criminal offense in Hongkong to have dessert now.

"Shadow of change" The crane of a construction site casted a shadow over one of the old public housing estate in Shum Shui Po district in Hong Kong, as if indicating change is inevitable. Photo taken with Samyang AF 50 F2.8 FE and cropped to around 75MM equivalent. Excellent amount of details, sharpness and contrast are retained. Hong Kong News:

MTR is the main public transportation in Hong Kong with official service hours from around 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. each day.

Starting from last week, MTR started suspending its service around the locations and times of legal protests (incl. marching and assembly) which were agreed by the Police Force initially.

Some videos on the Internet also show that during the suspended times, the Police Force were using the service to reach the protests’ area.

Playing the major part of public transport, MTR fails to meet each expectation of Hong Kong civilians, including but not least:

No follow up action after the Police threw expired tear gas inside #KwanFong and #ShumShuiPo stations;

No explanation to why the Police Force was allowed to enter and shot with bullet gun at both #TaiKoo stations;

No proper explanation to why Kwan Fong station shut down before 9 p.m. on some days;

No proper explanation to why half of #KwanTongLine was suspended and only announced 1-2 hours before the action carried out around the timeframe of legal protests...?
