Roti Gandum Garden Bakery

Kali keempat bawa pulang roti gandum Yin Yang dari Garden Bakery Indonesia kerumah buat sarapan di akhir pekan. Selalu habis di hari pertama, padahal pengennya bisa buat sarapan besoknya juga haha

Roti gandum ini cukup mengenyangkan, karena kandungan gandumnya yang sangat kaya. Ga cuma gandumnya aja yang berasa, ada tekstur dari biji-bijian lain yang juga bikin kenyang seperti biji wijen dan biji labu. 

Gue menemukan Garden Bakery ini di Superindo deket kantor. Pertamanya penasaran aja nyobain Eclipse Bread alias roti gandum dengan campuran bubuk charcoal yang lagi kekinian. Sekali coba makan rotinya pake olesan butter doang, langsung ketagihan! besoknya nyoba bikin tuna sandwich pake roti itu untuk bekal sarapan di kantor dan ternyata cukup mengenyangkan sampai jam 1. 

Minggu depannya coba lagi cari roti hitam, tapi selalu habis, jadilah nyoba bawa pulang roti gandum flaxsed. Ternyata nyokap gue suka banget sama roti gandum ini, katanya rasanya lucu ada kriuk-kriuk dari biji-biji wijen dan labunya.

Karena sempet ga kebagian roti ini, gue jadi searching-searching di internet dimana aja store nya. Ternyata Roti Garden tersedia di toko-toko berikut: Ranch Market, Farmers Market, Total Buah, Hero Supermarket, Jakarta Fruit Market, Superindo Supermarket, Duta Buah, Diamond Supermarket, Maxim Fruit Market, Apple Shop, Tiara Minimarket, Cipta Fruit Market.

Soal harga, gue rasa untuk roti kualitas begini cukup terjangkau, dibawah 30.000 untuk 10 slice. Lumayan loh buat yang suka diet~ cukup mengenyangkan, menyehatkan dan rasanya enak.

Tulisan ini murni review dari gue yang suka banget sama roti gandum dari gardena, terlebih karena sedikit sulit menemukan informasi dan review Garden Bakery di internet. Biar semua orang tau! hahaha

Apr.23/12 Dinner @ Garden Bakery

Had dinner with my family here tonight. It is located on the "outskirts" of Chinatown - I call it "outskirts" bcos it's not on the main street. The restaurant is quite old but it's been renovated a few times, so it's not old-looking at all. The main floor is the bakery section; you go up the stairs to get to the restaurant section~

Cheeekinn fwy wice... haha 1st time getting this without the salted fish (AKA the preserved fish?). I personally like this one more bcos it's less salty. As you can see, there are some pretty big pieces of chicken breast (my fav type of chicken meat). I'm not a huge fan of raw green onions so that was the only "down" part of this. But overall, delicious! The rice was very "loose" & had a crunchy exterior. Well worth the price~

This is my mom's favorite dish. Wherever she goes, she will order this... 干炒牛河, AKA fried rice noodles with beef. I usually really like this dish but the chef was a little off this evening. Noodles were well cooked, didn't stick together, & texture was good. The beef, however, had little taste. Eaten together with the noodles was great (bcos I personally found the noodles a bit salty on its own) but a piece of beef alone was...not good. Texture was good though, wasn't over-cooked or anything.

The pan fried "yi" noodle (干烧伊面) - this restaurant has never disappointed me with this dish before! The mushrooms were so delicious! The only thing though was...it was not as dry as I wanted. This kind of noodle, or rather...this way of cooking the noodle, is supposed to be dry, almost to the point of crunchy-ness. This one that I had was a little too saucy.

Overall, I gave my dinner a 9/10! Yummyyyyy~
