"Moonlight Sonata." My favorite. I see myself on a boat when I hear that. A boat on a lake... in the moonlight. And leaves lazily falling on me.

I don't know if I'm being... overconfident in my abilities saying that, but [Miro and I] are both good enough skaters that we can get up the ice, and if the play doesn't work out then we can still turn around and catch guys. Now, we're not going to catch McDavid, but. The vast majority of the league we can kind of chase down.

Cringe is dead should mean “stop letting yourself be held back by what people think of you” NOT “everything I am into MUST be socially accepted in a positive light by others”. Btw

i think dean kept hearing "good things do happen, dean" on a loop during the widower arc and i think he was like cursing cas for making him believe that he could have something good and crying thinking "i told you nothing good happens in my experience why did you prove me right you coward, you were supposed to stay" (none of this is fair but he is also so fucking sad so he's allowed to lash out at the memory of cas i think)
OW. You come into my inbox just to hurt me? Rude!
But yes, absolutely—I can see this looping in Dean's head, especially after losing Cas in 12x23. “Good things do happen, Dean,” playing on repeat while he curses Cas for making him believe it.
Which brings me to another, worser thought...
One of the most fascinating things about the “last Cas loss” in 15x18 is how, after Cas’s love testament, Dean seems to be in shock at first, but them melts into a surprisingly mellow(er) headspace. Instead of collapsing under his own, he actively tries to support Sam and Jack through their grief, and later he pushes back against Chuck’s narrative of being the ultimate killer.
By the time we reach the finale, six months after their losses, Sam and Dean’s typical dissociative patterns have flipped: Sam is the one looking back, voicing his grief about their family, while Dean is the one (pretending to be) focused on moving forward—so much so that he’s even filling out a job application.
I think this implies something important—that, at least for a time, Dean doesn't just hope Cas is coming back; he expects it.
You can see it in how Dean reacts to Lucifer’s phone call in 15x19. There’s barely a moment of hesitation before he bolts up the stairs and opens that door. That kind of instant, unthinking reaction suggests that, deep down, he still believes in Cas returning to him.
After the end 15x19, Dean voices wanting to write his own story, and with Cas’s love known, this implies a different kind of hope. This time, when Cas finally comes home, the love will sit between them. Comfortable. Warm. Even as Dean processes the grief, there’s this deep, unwavering belief in Cas that underpins everything
And that belief—however much it helps Dean hold on—only makes it all the more devastating when reality finally starts to set in. I think it contextualizes 15x20, too—how strangely withdrawn and resolved Dean is while dying.

one great part about leaving twitter for the kill yourself website besides not having to constantly experience homicidal urges towards US politicians is that i am also constantly watching cliques in fandoms I used to be in explode in shockingly public ways over shit that literally does not matter in ways previously only seen in commentary/tea communities on youtube

Hi, how are you?
I was hoping you would be willing to tell me if Wei Wuxian was truly arrogant during the war and post-war, or was it more an act to deter the gentry from diving in like vultures?
Thank you for your time and effort 😊
Hello, I am finally not dying! 💪🏽
I said with the last anon that I don’t feel like digging through text atm, so if you want actual citations then just let me know and I’ll look it up later. Short answer to your question: no.
Long answer: Wei Wuxian during the war was focused on not dying and not having the rest of his loved ones die during a war where losing meant annihilation. Wei Wuxian after the war is struggling with the aftermath of losing his golden core and is now being kept at arms length by the same gentry that was happy enough to use him as a war weapon. I don’t think Wei Wuxian was being “arrogant” and I don’t think his motivation for his behavior at that time was to keep anyone away. I think he never really cared for deep friendship with anyone outside of Lan Wangji—who he is still noticeably reaching out to post-war—and he most definitely is not interested in ingratiating himself with a crowd of genocidal hypocrites. Whenever he’s around anyone who hasn’t already pissed him off, he’s still polite and cordial. Not going above and beyond that does not amount to arrogance.

New story air dropped directly from a dream: Magical world isekai harem anime except the "harem" in question is full of people with unrequited crushes on MC who is somehow oblivious to all romantic gestures directed towards him, so they end up declaring themselves his Innocence Protection Squad instead
The entire thing is full of failed attempts at wooing the MC, but he misses them r/woosh style and the entire group slowly slips into a queer platonic relationship as the "harem" starts pursuing friendship more than romance
Featuring:
Varying flavors of Classmate: "I can't believe you're dating so many people" MC: *blinks dumbly while in a position that makes it look like he's dating at least one of his friends* "What are you talking about????"
Many many "Gasp! Has MC finally figured out I have a crush on him!?😳" *MC does/says something* "*internal screaming* No, no he hasn't oTL" moments
A separate friend group who also notices MC's seeming lack of knowledge in the realm of romance and lust and make it their mission to open his eyes to the wonderful world of sex. (Aka. the Corruption Squad) Much like the "harem" their efforts fail hilariously. MC isn't unaware, he's just aroace, leading to many "Oh yeah, I already knew about that and it's kind of boring tbh" situations whereupon the Corruption Squad go "WHAT!? HOW COULD THIS BE???", lol
A B-plot involving a second isekied person who hates MC for existing bc she insists she's supposed to be the hero of this land (MC doesn't even care about being a hero. There is nothing stopping her. She's doing so much mental gymnastics to make everything into beef with him. MC just wants to have fun with swooshy swooshy magic)
A potential ending where the Protection Squad and Corruption Squad end up marrying each other (bc that sounds hilarious)

i am so grateful yoongi got to have this tour. his confidence has grown ten-fold and it’s been incredible to watch that unfold. there’s something so specifically wonderful about yoongi knowing he’s sexy and talented and beloved and he’s just been radiant with the love he’s received and felt during this tour. i am so thankful he got to have these last weeks to grow as not just an artist but as a person as well. it’s been remarkable seeing him grow into that confidence. someone made the remark that we’re getting to see yoongi fully in such a special way - the way he’s playful and teasing and his unabashed laughter and silliness. i am just so thankful he’s felt so comfortable and confident this tour. thinking back to his struggles and his fears and anxiety and now seeing him stand alone on those stages, feeling comfortable. it’s just everything. i know for years he’s felt our love and that it gives him confidence to hear our cheers but there’s something particular about this tour that i think he finally let himself truly feel that without anything holding him back or any internalized doubts keeping him from feeling it. and when 2025 comes, it’ll be incredible to see what he’ll unfold onto us with his brothers at his side. he’s going to take the world by storm. he already has.
