asking abt ur selfship au!!!! how does eunso feel abt minyoung + vise versa? are yoosung and seven still close? does eunso like seven (do they hang out together as a group? :3)
+ bonus space to talk abt whatever u want
OH MY GOODNESS IVE NEVER BEEN ASKED AB MY SELFSHIPS BEFORE KYAAA i don't know how to format tumblr posts so i'll try to make it make sense.. hehe...
Eunseo + Minyoung:
Eunseo is a part of the RFA and has known Yoosung and Rika since she was in high school. She's a year older than Yoosung and Rika saw her potential as an author and a journalist so Rika asked her to work with the RFA!!!
Eunseo's backstory is a whole other topic I'll touch on in the next ask LOL.
Minyoung (in this universe, which I consider their "canonical" universe if that makes sense), is Saeran/Unknown's assistant and has been working alongside him for two and a half years by the time of the main plot (which follows Seven's route).
To make a long story short, Minyoung was originally supposed to be MC from Ray's route, but it follows the Bad Ending where MC refuses to be the play tester so Ray takes her back to magenta to be his assistant.
As a result, Minyoung knows about Eunseo but Eunseo doesn't know anything about her. Two years after Secret End 2 (hence the name of the AU, Secret End: After), Eunseo is working on her Master's Thesis and decides to write about Mint Eye and its previous Believers.
She sends out an online survey asking for previous members of the cult to willingly step up and attend an interview. Minyoung is the only legitimate member of Mint Eye, so Eunseo focuses her work on Minyoung for now.
Then... through Eunseo, Minyoung and Saeran meet again <3.
Eunseo + Seven:
To be honest... Eunseo has just never liked Seven to begin with. Maybe because she just doesn't appreciate his humour but tries to suck it up because Yoosung loves Seven so much lol. But I like to think that two years later, she learns to be civil with him and enjoy his presence.
Yoosung + Seven:
Yes! These two goofballs are still very close even in this AU, probably closer than ever before. I'm a YooSeven geek, so I really can't get rid of their dynamic no matter how hard I try LOL. Yoosung has matured a lot in the time that's passed though and he's actually often the voice of reason when Seven and Saeran get into fights. Yoosung understands most out of them all what it means to let people go and let them develop, I think.
As for RFA as a group, they do still often meet up in this AU. They're still Rika's Fundraising Association and they still throw parties. Jumin and Jaehee still work closely together, but Jumin has started to see things from her perspective. Thank god he doesn't overwork her anymore. Jaehee still has plans of opening her own cafe and Jumin wouldn't mind helping her out. Zen is still single as ever, but he's become less immature about it.
But thank you so much for asking about my meepy Minyoung! She's been my self insert for about three or so years now and I was really nervous about showing her off to the world. I appreciate your interest sooo much <3

@thatlesbainmushroom and @jjlovesgoodies (hope you don't mind the tags, I was not sure how else to make sure you seen this<3) both said yes to hearing about my roomies zombie au, so here it is!! Though, I must admit that it is more of a half-baked idea than a fully thought out au. I'm not sure if I will ever actually write it, so it's free game with credit.
I suppose a TW is required before you read any further. It is a zombie au, so it is pretty grim. Mentions of death, blood, injury, and other apocalypse typical things.
Etho and Cleo were college roommates before everything went to shit. Cleo was a graphic design and arts student in her fourth year, while Etho was an engineering student in his second year. They have been together since the start, and were actually in their dorm room when the chaos started. Bdubs used to be with them, but they lost track of him (and his horse) months ago. They assume he is dead.
Grian was a first year architect student from a few towns over. His group consisted of his roommates, Jimmy and Joel, along with his work friend, Scar.
None of them had ever used a gun before the apocalypse, so it is none of their preferred weapon. Cleo has a baseball bat, Grian has a knife, and Etho has a machete. Etho and Grian both carry handguns but rarely use them. Cleo knows how to use a gun but does not carry one and would have to be in mortal danger to be convinced to use it.
Cleo is immune to the bite, something they found out at the beginning because a classmate had bitten her and she never turned. Though, this immunity would not hold any narrative weight. The world has fallen apart, there wouldn't be anyone left to try to find a cure from her anyway. They are just focused on surviving and trying to keep each other safe.
However, because of her immunity, she does take risks that Etho doesn't/can't. She used to be a real softy, not much a fighter who was all bark no bite, but she would do anything to protect Etho. She has many scars, from bites and scratches, because of this reckless behavior.
It would start with Grian having just been separated from his group and he's been wandering around the remains of a big city looking for them. He eventually gets overwhelmed by a hoard and ends up cornered in an alley, where he is then saved by Etho, who kills the zombies and offers to bring him back to his camp.
Grian says no and tells him he has to keep looking for his group, but Etho is persistent. Grian caves and agrees to go with him when Etho offers to help look for his missing friends; no strings attached.
The group traverses the remains of the burning world together for several months looking for Grian's group and slowly getting to know each other. Etho and Cleo share information freely, but Grian is more reserved. He only answers simple questions about his past. They barley know anything about this group they are trying to find. Instead of opening up as the months' pass by, he actually becomes more and more reserved.
He keeps asking why they keep helping him when they have no obligation to do so, especially since he's given them next to no information or reason to trust him, and they say why not? They don't have anything better to do than lend him a helping hand.
Grian leads them more and more northwest as time goes on, telling them that he was told to head in this direction to meet back up with his group, but still, they find no trace of them.
Around 6-7 months into traveling together, the group do a supply run in a mall that they thought was safe and end up getting trapped inside with no way out after Grian brings some kind of a display/structure down on top of himself on accident and it attracts a hoard that was hidden away out of sight.
They are very low on ammo, Etho was bit while getting Grian out from under the display, Grian was injured by the accident, and they're all too exhausted and malnourished to fight. They make it into a staff area, but there's no exit that they see, so they barricade the door. It is only a matter of time before the hoard breaks through.
Sitting inside of the small room, Grian admits to them that his group was already dead and had been for a while. He tells them that he had actually been ready to die that day Etho found him. He felt bad letting Etho's kindness (which was a rarity in this dying world) go to waste, so he went along with it.
He was just along for the ride at first, leading them on a wild goose chase while waiting for a chance to leave them, but then he grew to care for them. He never thought he would find friends again in a world like this, but, somehow, he did. They gave him a purpose, a reason to keep going. They made him want to live again. They made him happy. They made him laugh; something so simple and yet so important.
He didn't want them to leave him behind once they found out the truth, so he'd kept lying to them and pretending like he was still searching so that they would have a reason to keep helping him, a reason to have him around.
He was closing himself off all that time in an attempt to hold onto the one good thing in his life. He tells them that he's sorry, that he loves them, and that he's scared.
Cleo and Etho say they don't care that he's been lying, and that he's just as important to them as they are to him. They say that whatever happens next, they'll do it together.
And then in my mind it would end somewhat ambiguously/open ended as the zombie's break through.

Question about p! Noah..
How would he hypothetically react to being stabbed. (Accidentally) Like not a deadly stab wound but one big enough for it to be considered concerning.
How would the rest of the cast react?
Ok so what I'm asking is how committed is p! Noah to the bit? How for would he go in such a serious situation. Maybe he didn't care at all and walked around bleeding? Maybe he was only thinking of ways to torment the others using this to his advantage. Idk.
Also love this au sm!!
"Hypothetically", just say you want to stab him. This is a safe space, I'm not judging. ...Okay I'm judging a little bit.
I actually have a few thoughts about reactions to stabbings, as someone who's been involved in more than my fair share of them, and generally I think a lot of people don't tend to understand just how much it fucking hurts to be stabbed, even when it's non-fatal. It is a very painful experience, even with the added anaesthetic of adrenaline, and seeing just how often media portrays people walking off stab wounds or regarding them as little more than scratches is just. Infuriating.
Now, I personally headcanon Noah as someone with a fairly high pain tolerance. This is backed by a lot of the bone-crushing and otherwise painful experiences he suffers through in the show and is generally able to shrug off without complaint (and really, Noah would realistically have so much chronic pain after World Tour in particular, given how much he's crushed, tossed and thrown about in that season alone). But that doesn't mean I think he can just brute-force his way through acting unconcerned by a literal stab wound.
Even p!Noah wouldn't have that unwavering of a constitution, and he's crazy. Though I do think he'd make a good effort of maintaining his persona as the unflappable unstable wildcard, he'd be quick to abscond from the situation at hand and treat the wound. Again, that shit hurts, and it's really hard to keep up any pretences under the pain of a stab wound, so getting himself out of the situation as fast as possible would be his top priority- the less time he spends around the others in his vulnerable state, the slimmer the chances are of them seeing behind his mask of mania to the scared person hidden behind it.
Because his detachment from reality is the vast majority of his defence mechanism game plan; if Noah allows himself to be seen as anything but the psychopath he's portrayed himself as- either by the audience or the now aware cast- he's lost practically everything he's spent seasons building up on camera. Letting himself be seen as vulnerable or even affected by something as "inconsequential" as a stab would is a no-go, so he'd stutter out a few witty zingers and bounce.
(Which is an incredibly unhealthy mindset to have, but p!Noah isn't exactly mentally sound even without his exaggerated persona. His commitment to The Bit is strong enough for him to momentarily disregard his physical wellbeing, but not enough to grant him the ability to completely ignore it.)
It'd play out something like this:
---
Noah's eyes momentarily widened in shock as he felt the cold steel of Duncan's knife embed itself into the meat of his upper thigh. The pain was searingly sharp, molten agony burning like lava in his veins, and the bookworm found himself reflexively stumbling backwards from the punk.
"Did you just stab me?" He asked incredulously, sparing a glance down towards the weapon sticking out of his now ruined cargo shorts. The sight was almost comedic; Noah's oversized shorts rested against the hilt of the knife like cushions, completely blanketing the wound beneath them. He was almost amused enough to laugh, but the constant screaming of his nerves had his laughter congealing against the back of his throat with the rest of his saliva, leaving his mouth uncomfortably dry.
Duncan, in turn, seemed just as shocked by the turn of events. The delinquent's terrified blue eyes darted from Noah's face to the knife jutting out of his thigh. Which prompted the cynic to contort his grimace into a toothy grin, as any sign of weakness here would completely ruin his carefully cultivated image, though the edges of his smile were soured by the constant throbbing pain in his leg.
Truly, it was Noah's own fault. He shouldn't've provoked the stab-happy jailbird, but messing with Duncan was just too fun an opportunity to pass up.
"Oh fuck! Oh shit, dude, I'm so sorry!"
And he really was. Noah could tell by the shaky panic in his voice, the bulging of his ice-blue eyes, and the way Duncan seemed to curl self-consciously into himself. Not that the pessimist thought he had any right to act to timid- he was the one with the knife in his leg.
Again, Noah wanted nothing more than to laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Here he was, stood before the resident metal-faced punk, brandishing the other's knife deep in the flesh of his thigh like some sort of twisted fashion statement. Every minor twitch and spasm of his muscles had white-hot agony lick at the back of his mind like flames, matching the welling heat of pained tears he desperately choked down; Noah refused to cry in front of Duncan, refused to let the other know just how much pain he was in.
He took a few tentative steps backwards, edging towards the exit of the Economy Cabin and towards the relative safety of the Confessional. Each step was a test in his composure, as every time he put even the slightest bit of weight onto his pierced leg Noah felt liquid hot torture bubble through his veins.
"Wow. I know you offered to give me a piercing, but don't you think this is a bit much?" Noah snarked, playing off the unsteady tightness of his voice as mirth with a humourless giggle, and disguising the wince he couldn't quite subdue as a cocky tilting of his head.
Noah placed a steadying hand on the doorframe of the exit, never once turning his back to his assaulter or letting his feral grin falter, as his tear-fogged eyes scanned across the cabin. He'd made it to the exit, but really needed a moment to catch his breath. It was so hard to breath around the sharp, burning pain.
The cynic felt, more than saw, the concerned looks the other occupants of Economy were shooting him. In fact, both Owen and Alejandro had jumped from their seats to, assumedly, assist him. That wouldn't do- Noah staunchly refused to show any semblance of helplessness in front of Alejandro. The latino's hero complex and overblown ego would never let Noah hear the end of it, and making himself even the slightest bit sympathetic in front of their audience would offset the persona he'd worked so hard to maintain.
Damn his team and their inconstant bouts of humanity; concern was the last thing Noah wanted! The whole situation was jeopardising his image! He'd have to do something drastic to stop his well intentioned teammates from following him- something crazy.
"I'm keeping this, by the way."
The bookworm yanked the knife from it's nested perch in is thigh, scattering scarlet droplets of blood in its wake, and brandished his newfound weapon with performative flourish. It hurt like a bitch, and Noah had to force down a shudder at the feeling of his own rapidly welling blood as it began to trickle down his leg like molasses in rivulets of crimson. No doubt his shorts would be ruined, not that they weren't already.
A resounding cry of disbelief rattled through the cabin, though Noah payed it no mind.
It... probably wasn't the best idea, ripping the knife out of his stab wound. But Noah was nothing if not committed to his act, and it wasn't as if he could just re-plug the bleeding with the knife.
Unless? ...No, no that was stupid. The persistent throbbing pain of his sluggishly bleeding wound was probably just messing with his head.
It was, however, satisfying to watch the well-intentioned concern on the other's faces drain into white-faced revulsion and terror, as Noah playfully began to spin the blood soaked weapon between his fingers. Both Owen and Alejandro came to a halt a few meters away from him, the Spaniard in particular seemed to recoil at the stray droplets of the cynic's blood as his face took on a peculiar green tinge.
And Duncan stood shell-shocked in his original position, apparently still stunned by disbelief by his own actions. Not that Noah cared, but it was a little ironic to him; the big bad delinquent couldn't handle the ramifications of his own violence. How sad, Noah's heart was just bleeding for him- or was it his leg? It was hard to tell, the rapid loss of blood made his deductive skills a little wonky.
"Thanks for the gift, Duncey. Toodles!~"
With that, Noah skittered his way out of the cabin, leaving a trail of scarlet behind him.
"Dude, what the fuck."
---
And then p!Noah hobbles his way to the Confessional to treat his stab wound and stop the bleeding. And probably has a little cry over it because ouch, being stabbed hurts. (Obviously he'd muffle the sounds of his sobs and agonised hissed breaths as he deals with the wound- he wouldn't want anyone overhearing his moment of weakness.)
Then, of course, he remembers that the Confessional is decked out with a camera and quickly re-masks into his usual persona and waxes poetic about how pretty he looks covered in his own blood, and how Duncan was so generous in gifting him his prized knife, and how Noah would love to repay the favour. Or something along those lines.
Duncan in this scenario would have the added bonus of not only dealing with the guilt of stabbing someone, but also the paranoia of Noah's rebuttal. Of which Noah would relish in, because of course he would.
As for the others, Noah would make a conscious and continuous effort to keep them as unconcerned with his wellbeing as possible, since his whole goal is to make himself seem as inhuman and unstable as possible. Letting the others care about him would humanise Noah in the eyes of the cast and the audience at large, which is a big no-no for his game plan.
That doesn't mean he wouldn't let Owen fuss over him in private; Owen's one of the very few people around who knows that a lot of Noah's instability is an exaggeration, so Noah isn't as hesitant to lower his walls.

beauty and beast au but Claire’s the one cursed because she’s the only one I can see literally pissing a sorceress off enough to get cursed. (If we’re going off the original movie Jim would probably offer them a hot meal and a room for the night, knowing him he’d make everything super accommodating)
#are we seeing the vision or have I lost my mind#Jim would literally drop everything to help this literal hag who waltzed through the door#Claire would..not be doing that#bonus points if the witch is Morgana then they’re throwing hands#I could see her trying to offer a deal like say she’s after Claire’s magic and sevitude or something and when she refuses boom Morgana#curses her and everyone else that’s in the ballroom at the time#And because it’s Morgana she’d probably make the curse super difficult to break#so like by the time she’s 18 if she doesn’t agree to serve Morgana when the last petal on the rose falls she dies with the rose#so Claire’s kinda given up on hope cuz she’d rather die than give Morgana her magic#Barbara’s a traveling doctor so her and Strickler set off to another town for a trip and get caught in the snow storm#and they get locked up for entering the castle and trespassing#Jim goes after them because they don’t come back the day after#instead of Claire keeping them there though I think she’d just give all three the chance to leave with some pressing from her friends#Jim ends up rethinking his decision due to the fact that Toby even as a cursed object can’t for the life of him keep a secret#when he hears the castle is under a curse he’s immediately interested in helping#even if Claire really just wants this nosy human boy and his parents to be on their way#oh shit I think I just wrote another au#trollhunters#tales of arcadia#jim lake jr#claire nuñez#toa#jlaire#this was just chillin in my drafts for awhile#avi rambles

Revenant Side Stories
Story IV: Price
[Konchar] [Graves] [Gaz] [AO3]
This one is a little different from the other side stories, but I have to say I had a lot of fun diving into the way Price experiences his powers from his POV.
This one is probably the most plot-relevant story, in relation to part 2. Hope you enjoy it!
The human mind is a deceptively complex subject. No person thinks the same way, Johnathan has found - some see images scrolling by, vague hieroglyphs symbolizing thoughts. Others narrate their day-to-day life, to themselves or to an imaginary audience. Once, he came across a woman, who, being deaf from birth, imagined words as hand signs.
He could take decades studying a single person, exploring the connections in their grey matter. If he wasn’t devoted to keeping his hands dirty to keep the world clean, John would’ve considered working in a field more suitable for his powers.
As it was, the people he comes in contact the most become the subjects of his investigations.
The first of his boys was the hardest. John met Simon merely a few months after his own Reaping, while the grasp he had on his powers was far weaker. He remembers the first time he arrived at reading distance from the Ghost; the sharp, fractured mind of the then-Sergeant was like a physical ache in his own, and he had to shamefully retreat to the bathroom to vomit.
They were both newly not-quite-dead, both far too powerful to allow back to the field while they didn’t have a tight leash on their abilities. So, they trained together.
Simon, or Ghost as he insisted on being referred as, really shouldn’t have been cleared to stay in the military. John didn’t have to be a shrink to tell, the choking feeling of the Sergeant’s memories and flashback almost bringing him to his knees countless times.
The kid went through worse than most veterans have. He had the powers to match.
Limbo. An ability never seen before in the entirety of recorded human history, the first revenant of the Void Reaper. The higher brass saw it as a cheat code for warfare.
John saw it as a defence mechanism of a broken man.
Ghost’s mind was his first, and perhaps biggest, hurdle as a commanding officer and as a revenant. It took weeks before he could stand to be in the same room with him for longer than an hour, months for the inky, tar-like miasma coating each of Simon’s thoughts to clear.
Ghost began to trust him. See that John is the closest one to really understand what made him a revenant, the fundamental reason of Limbo’s existence: It was never about being an off switch to hostile soldiers, like General Shepherd treated it.
Limbo was a world in Simon’s full control, a place where for once in his life, he could make sure he wouldn’t be hurt.
But that wouldn’t be apparent, from just watching him on the field, from reading mission reports on his unmatched powers. No other soldier, General, or Spiritulogist saw what John saw.
And while he tried to explain, it all fell on deaf ears.
John carries many regrets in his life, but allowing Limbo to become a hostile realm toward Ghost might be his worst one.
Guilt isn’t an uncommon emotion among soldiers. Some hide it better than others, but Captain Price learned to see through mental walls a long time ago. While he didn’t have the opportunity to peer into many revenant minds, it was even more prevalent in theirs.
That is to say, Kyle Garrick shouldn’t have surprised him.
He met the young Corporal barely two weeks after his death, the sight of crushed bones still terribly fresh in his mind. It didn’t deter Price like Ghost has - he has learned a lot since, lived through worse - and instead intrigued him. Call it morbid curiosity, but the sheer amount of care Kyle has for each and every soldier on his team, dead or alive, was a sign he will go far, in Price’s eyes.
That value, as admirable as it was, was currently eating the young soldier from the inside. Before he could take Gaz under his wing, he was forced to watch from the sidelines as the regret and shame weighed on Kyle’s heart. It gave him a considerable amount of comfort, to watch the man grow when they had the chance to work together.
Despite knowing both of them, Price wasn’t sure how Ghost and Gaz would handle a mission together. He knew they would be as professional as ever, but Ghost’s reputation precedes him by many paces, and it unfairly emphasizes times when he either was out of control due to the unimaginable weight of his past, or under orders.
So it came as quite a shock when Ghost not only complimented the Sergeant, but in his mind thought he would be content with working with Gaz again.
Price was already meaning to get Gaz on the 141, but seeing how well the two mashed with each other made him all the more certain of the need for the taskforce. He initially pitched it to the higher brass with an explanation of the tactical benefits of gathering their strongest revenants and training them together, allowing for the soldiers to explore unique and powerful ways to combine their abilities.
But secretly, it also allows Price to keep an eye on them, be their commanding officer, and make sure nobody will take advantage of those otherworldly powers without taking in consideration that maybe, despite already dying, revenants aren’t any less human than their fellow soldiers.
And for a long time, it was them three, against whatever fate threw at them. The taskforce gained infamy as the only revenant-exclusive squad in the world, mission after mission joining a long line of successes.
It wasn’t all perfect behind closed doors. Ghost’s Limbo continued to be hostile towards its owner, forcing him to work alone. Gaz was still burdened, and while having other revenants around him helped, showing him he’s not alone in his struggles, sometimes it was not enough.
Their team had their flaws, but it was better than any other alternative they had.
Then, Soap found his way in.
Sergeant MacTavish was an odd revenant, even among the unusual. From the first time meeting him, Price noted just how much the Scot seems to repress, even within the comfort of his own mind. Peering in, it was as if thick concrete walls were erected around his thoughts, sectioning off the different parts that made up Soap.
His personal file wasn’t much better - full pages blacked out, especially any pertaining to his Reaping. Price knows the smell of red tape, and Soap’s file was reeking with it.
It brought him years back to Simon, the way both of them appear to be afraid of themselves.
He decided to assign them both to a simple mission. Ghost resisted at first, as he always does when Price tries to get him out of his shell, so to speak. Luckily for him, and unfortunately for Ghost, he has the final word as a Captain.
It ended up a shitshow, because it always does when Price needs it not to. Or, that’s what he thought at first, hearing the initial reports.
Ghost’s demeanor was almost somber when Price asked him about Soap. Regret, and what Price could define as the feeling of missing out, surrounded the Lieutenant’s thoughts. Something about Soap caught his attention.
It took months before an opportunity arose, and an incredible effort from his side to not spill those thoughts accidentally (lest his plans fail, and his boys become disappointed), but Price managed to convince his superiors that the taskforce needs a new member. That member, of course, being Soap.
Price did not foresee just how much that addition will change his team. To say he regrets it would be a lie… but knowing what he knows now, he might’ve considered it longer.
Seeing how happy the three of them are, how things simply click better with Soap around, Price believes he would’ve made the same choice again and again.
Price came across a few revenants in his life, gazed into their thoughts more than once. Each of them were wholly extraordinary. The experience of dying and meeting a Reaper alters one’s mind irrevocably.
Out of all of those revenants, there’s only one that made Johnathan Price feel an innate sort of dread, one whose thoughts were disturbing enough to keep him awake at night for weeks after their short meeting. One that forced his own to a breaking point, made Price physically hear the creaking of his crumbling brain attempting to process what it is seeing.
That mind being, Vladimir Makarov’s.
Tumblr media
John’s Reaper isn’t of the chatty kind, the one that tries to control its revenants with an iron fist. For the most part, it let him do as he pleases, occasionally warning him from this mission or another.
The sudden shift between their world and his Reaper’s realm never ceases to send a bolt of shock through him. He has observed minds when they were brought to distant places beyond their understanding. It made his eyes bleed.
This one is no different.
“R-Reaper. To what do I owe the honors?” John asks, wincing as a headache attacks him, brain overstimulated by the shifting shapes around him, concepts he has no words for appearing and disappearing with a blink.
“You are to be sent on a mission in a few hours.” the Reaper responds, a wild mass of flashing lights, like synapses of a starless sky. Price’s gift allows him to see the hidden messages between the words.
“Interest. Warning. Fear.”
…Fear…?
What… could make his Reaper… afraid?
The ancient voice continues, “You will be asked to kill a man. A revenant.”
“Danger. Blood. Enemy.”
John’s brows scrunch in confusion, “Reaper-?”
“You cannot kill that revenant. Under orders of Fate, you will not kill that revenant.”
“Command. Terror. Fate.”
John opens his mouth, to ask one of the billion questions swirling in his mind, but the synapses flash, his body gets the feeling of falling, and-
John gasps, eyes rapidly taking in his surroundings. Back in his office, kicked out of the Reaper realm before he could let out a peep. He sighs, wiping sweat from his brow, nape still tingling with the wrongness of his Reaper’s messages.
Something is scaring his Reaper to obey… ‘Fate’. John’s not sure what exactly that is, but he knows who will.
He’s about to punch in the number of the resident Spiritulogist on base, when a knock sounds on his door. “Open!” He calls loudly, his mind already supplying him with the orders the rookie is about to tell him.
They have a mission lined up for him, and he’s to be debriefed immediately. The rookie mumbles as such, and John waves him off.
His stomach churns in a way it hasn’t for a very long time.
“Bravo 0-6, what’s your status?”
Price brings a hand up to his comms, “solid, in position, no sign of the target.”
The watcher copies his response, clicking off channel. John swallows thickly, adjusting the hold on his sniper. On paper, this mission should be simple - a man named Andrei Nolan has been observed to be making moves in favor of several international criminal rings. The SAS needs him dead, and Price is here to make sure of that.
The intel suggested a possibility of the man being a revenant, but with no confirmed Reaper, the information doesn’t help him in the slightest.
The port he’s overlooking is said to be housing missiles in some of its shipment containers. Nolan will arrive to buy them from a local arms dealer. They would’ve not sent someone like Price usually, but not only did Nolan evade capture several times, he recently ramped up his activity, pointing to a new employer.
Any other day, Price would’ve killed him with no hesitation. Today, however, the words of his Reaper echo within his mind, dread spreading through his synapses, the emotions that coursed through the interdimensional being now flowing through him.
Reapers don’t lie, and his certainly doesn’t mince words. If it didn’t see a reason to warn John, it wouldn’t have.
There wasn’t enough time to explain that to his superiors, though. Humans don’t understand the connection Reapers and revenants have, hell, they barely understand Reapers as a concept, let alone their intricate oddities.
He inhales deeply. John hopes he’s close enough to read Nolan, when he finally shows up. Perhaps the man’s mind might have a clue as to why his Reaper needs him to stay alive.
And as if his thoughts have been heard, Andrei Nolan shows his face. Or… is that Nolan? The description given in the brief fits him, black hair, brown eyes, Eastern European man in his 30s, wearing a black suit and a red tie. But…
His left eye is closed, lower lid pink like it’s infected, and Price can’t tell from the distance, but… there seems to be a red line, almost like a tear, drawn down his cheek.
Price frowns, adjusting the zoom on his scope, analyzing the face as much as he can while the man moves. The seller arrived already, and is now showing “Nolan” the goods, but he doesn’t pay mind to him. The left eye seemingly confirms the revenant status, something about it is unsettling in a Reaper’s way, but if that’s the case, wouldn’t the intel note that?
“0-6 to Watcher.” Price mutters, eyes not straying from the supposed target, “I’ve got eyes on a man fitting the description, but something doesn’t line up.”
“This is Watcher, what is the problem, Lieutenant?”
“His left eye is shut, red marking down his left cheek. Sign of a revenant, don’t know who’s.”
The line goes quiet for a few beats, “...standby, 0-6.”
The crease between his brows deepens, John sighs and waits. The alleged Nolan and the seller are still discussing something, probably pertaining to the deal.
After a few long minutes, his radio crackles, “Watcher to 0-6, we’ve consulted Dr. Novikov.”
The head Spiritulogist of the SAS regiment. If there’s any non-revenant he could trust on such matters, it’s him, “what did he say?”
“No PID. Nolan has not been documented to have markings like the ones you’ve described, and they’re impossible to acquire after Reaping.”
“...So we don’t know who this man is?”
“Negative.”
Price shuts his comms for a moment to curse. He radios back in, “Watcher, requesting permission to move closer to target.”
“Explain your reasoning, 0-6”
“I want to use my powers on him. Check his thoughts, might give us an ID.”
The Watcher’s voice becomes muffled as they talk to another person in the room, “granted. Make sure to not be seen, Price.”
“Copy.” he answers, adding under his breath, “not a bloody rookie, am I”
He leaves the sniper on the hill he previously perched on, preferring to go as light as possible. The target and the seller have moved since the conversation with Watcher, opening a shipment container and examining its contents. With their backs towards him, Price weaves between containers, climbing up a few to get a better view of the guards.
His range on complete strangers is shite as ever, a disadvantage he can’t train out of him. John stays low, sticking to the sharp shadows cast by the steel boxes, creeping closer and closer to the target.
The target is still focused on the illegal missiles, and he needs to step just a few more meters to get into range-
The man sharply turns, his eye locking with Price’s. A chill goes down his spine, and he freezes in place. He couldn’t have noticed him.
Price’s muscles don’t dare move, thoughts both reeling and dead still, as the man raises a hand, and slowly, slowly peels his left eyelid up.
The red line on his cheek continues up into the eye whites, going all the way into his disturbingly crimson pupil.
The seller stares at the target, expression confused when he is ignored. The target steps forward, and John has to force his legs to stay put and not run, because every single cell in his body screams of danger.
“Danger. Blood. Enemy.”
The target enters his range, and smiles. But why would he smile? He has no reason to, because he doesn’t know that Price is a Revenant of the Mind, doesn’t know the limits of his powers.
He doesn’t. He can’t.
And yet when their thoughts link, the first words he can farce are…
“Johnathan Price… just on time.”
John’s thoughts escape his mind before he can get a semblance of control on them, questions like “you shouldn’t know my name, how do you know my name?!” and “who are you, what Reaper fucking reaped you?”
To that, the target smiles with perfect, unnaturally white teeth, “you should know by now, people like me and you operate in realms considered impossible by most, Lieutenant.”
Price grinds his teeth, forcibly pulling his mind back, taking control of his powers, of what the target sees, “you’re not Andrei Nolan, are you?”
The Target chuckles, “you’re far more pathetic than I expected.” the image in his mind is not of Price, but of the entire SAS. “No, I’m not Nolan. I’ll let you know my true name, because rest assured, Johnathan, we will meet again.”
Price scoffs incredulously. There’s no doubt in the revenant’s mind, despite stating something he couldn’t possibly know.
“You do not believe me.”
“I’ve read enough minds to know an overconfident one by now, mate.” Price glares.
The revenant’s grin widens, peculiarly pleased. “It appears that I need to provide evidence for my claims. Very well.” he sweeps two fingers on the red marking on his face, a sort of thread materializing between them. Price’s breathing picks up, something in the revenant’s mind poking at his, a red haze enveloping his thoughts.
He takes half a step back, eyes wide and staring at the thread hanging from the revenant’s fingers.
“I can promise you, Lieutenant, you will not stay in disbelief for much longer.”
The thread shoots forward in a sudden rush, Price stumbling back, but no man or revenant could escape those unnatural strings.
The moment it wraps around his throat, images begin flashing in his mind.
A burning city, smell of flesh overwhelming his senses.
Emptiness. Living statues, covered in darkness.
Endless skies, clouds and stars, moon and sun, falling and falling and falling.
Piles of broken bodies, some familiar and others not, all far too young to be dead.
A photo passed towards him, of the very revenant that is invading his mind. The smell of alcohol burns at his nose.
Realms beyond his own, a fabric weaved with crimson strings. Hands, knitting it together. Three eyes, identical to the revenant’s.
Words.
“Fate”
“Unescapable. Indestructible. Unchangeable.”
“Nothing but a puppet on red strings.”
A cruel smile, human teeth grafted onto the blood-red skin of a Reaper. Suffocating satisfaction, unfathomable knowledge, power great enough to bend Reaper will.
“Under orders of Fate, you will not kill that revenant.”
“The Revenant of Fate.”
“Vladimir Makarov.”
The string snaps.
Price finds himself on all fours, shaking. The screaming around him doesn’t die down, and it takes him minutes to realize it comes from his mouth. Little red tears drip between his hands, his eyes crying blood.
The revenant - Makarov - laughs. In his thoughts, the sound bouncing in his cranium, unescapable.
“When I tell you we will meet again, Johnathan, I do not lie.” Makarov says, condescending. “But for now, our business is done.”
He feels Makarov leave his range, not before he says, “you should consider yourself lucky, Lieutenant Price. Not many receive this gift, to see their own fate. Until next time.”
John doesn’t dare lift his gaze for what feels like hours, the shaking in his limbs taking long minutes to subside. Eventually, the dread in his gut lowers enough for him to look up.
The seller’s body lays dead in front of him, shipping containers still full to the brim with missiles. Makarov didn’t come for them.
His only goal was Price.
“This is Bravo 0-6 to Watcher, how copy?”
“...Price?! We’ve been trying to contact you for hours, where have you-”
“Target was not Nolan. He wasn't after the missiles, either.”
“Lieutenant-”
“What do we know about the Reaper of Fate?”

Man haven’t read the actual 40th anniversary ROTTMNT comic yet but from what I’m hearing it’s going to be HILARIOUS watching every canon-compliant AU desperately trying to add all this in and explaining what siblings X and Y were doing when and where and why

remember that fight scene from the “happy family reunion”? what if…
aemond pushes jacaerys to the ground. aegon sees luke trying to help jace and rises from the chair to stop him. he almost puts a hand on nephew’s shoulder to slam his head to the table, as his brother’s cold voice comes from behind.
“don’t you dare. touch him, and i will break your fucking arm.”
silence is very loud. lucerys sights, irritated, and rolls his eyes.
“i can protect myself, my love. no need to throw insults at your brother.”

Hey whats the backstory of your cmcs and how did they got into relationships with saeran seven and yoosung respectively and what kind of dynamics do they have. I saw your cmc posts so i felt curious
HI okay so I am SOOOO excited to talk about my OCs and their dynamics with their respected lovers.
Eunseo and Yoosung
The best way to describe them is... a lovable clingy dog and his equally lovable owner. The two of them have known each other since high school, and in a way Yoosung was Eunseo's light. Eunseo moved around a lot, therefore she has a skewed sense of identity. She doesn't speak with her biological father and her mother is often out of the house... Yoosung and Eunseo meet when they share a table at the library and Yoosung basically talks about this book she's reading that he was interested in reading. Eventually, they open up to each other and Eunseo talks about how she's always wanted to be an author. Yoosung introduces her to Rika, who encourages her to join a writing contest, and she wins. Since then, Eunseo felt indebted to Rika and joins the RFA.
The thing about Eunseo is that she's an original character rather than a MC! My intentions for her was that she would have her own route and she would be romanceable. To be honest, I may have written a "route" guide waaay back in 2019 for her.
But in this universe in particular, she ends up with Yoosung. Childhood friends to lovers ROCKS!!!
Minyoung and Saeran
These two have a SHIT ton of baggage that comes with them. In this AU, they've been through a whole lot together in Mint Eye. Minyoung has seen the absolute low Saeran has been, living through Ray and Saeran and eventually his Unknown persona.
Their separation begins during the events of Secret End 02, where Saeran does the Big Bad and Jumin's security comes to save the day. Minyoung was back in the programming room the entire time to wipe the Mint Eye servers when the other security guards bust in there and take her away. Minyoung and Saeran never meet after this, as Minyoung and the other believers were escorted separately. For the next two years through a program discreetly funded by C&R, ex-believers are allowed to seek therapy and shelters. Minyoung then moves in to a shitty apartment and works remotely when she sees an ad put up by Eunseo.
Eunseo and Minyoung's dynamic was explained in the previous ask, here. But eventually, Minyoung and Saeran meet again and are given a second chance to fall in love as their real selves <3
That being said, their dynamic is meant to be one of healing. At least in Secret End: After. Their trauma is really difficult to overcome, especially on their own. They learn to not become codependent on each other, they learn to trust themselves and others, and more importantly: They heal their inner child together.
I think these two are very sweet... Minyoung, in comparison to Eunseo, is a self insert.
Chunhwa and Seven
Chunhwa and Seven are quite literally... MC and Seven LOL. Chunhwa is just a named version of the MC in Seven's route, so she acts the way she does in game. Technically, Chunhwa would be YOU.
But she does have her own personality. I like to think that MC is the kind of person who always has light in her heart and sees the good in people, but doesn't allow herself to be stepped on. She is incredibly caring and considerate of the people around her.
In SE:A, her and Seven have been married for about two years, like how in SE 02 Seven proposes to her. Since then, Chunhwa has been happily living with the Choi brothers. She does show lots of concern for Saeran and she believes that seeing Minyoung and reconciling with her would be good for him. On the other hand, Seven disagrees with her because he believes seeing Minyoung might revert his recovery progress from Mint Eye.
Chunhwa is usually the one who plans Girls Nights with Jaehee and Eunseo. When Minyoung is reintroduced to RFA by Saeran, Chunhwa does her best to make Minyoung feel included. She is such a ray of sunshine and I love her so much...
BUT THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT THEM HEHEHE I am so happy to be able to talk about my interpretation of the MM characters. I hope this answered your questions!

Random Streamer Ash thoughts.
The entire Charmander situation was streamed. Hell, even the down time in the Pokémon Center because might as well do a chill stream. Or, at least that was the intention before everyone learned that not did Charmander's trainer abandon him, but doesn't even care that if Charmander is still following his orders, he could DIE due to the rain. Anyways the rescue happens and the only reason Ash didn't end his stream during it and the time waiting in the reception room is because he knew his chat would kill him if they didn't learn if Charmander was fine as soon as he did.
By the time Sinnoh is over and done with chat just wants Ash to take a vacation because seriously WTF WAS EVEN HAPPENING IN SINNOH THEY SAW IT THROUGH A STREAM AND THEIR STILL CONFUSED-
Also there's a new appreciation for the Darkrai species after the events of The Rise of Darkrai. Same with Giratina. Dialga, Palkia, Shaymin and Arceus are on thin ice though. Albeit Arceus is a lesser extent because of the near death trauma.
Oh yeah Damien ends up in some Real Deep Shit, specifically Real Deep Legal Shit because there is no way that wouldn't count as criminal negligence at best and his confession and the resulting consequences for Charmander were all broadcast live. Not stopping the stream was half Ash being too focused on Charmander to even notice it was still running, half the rest of the group making damn sure they had the Receipts on Damien.
Thankfully for everyone's sanity there does seem to be some kind of gap between Sinnoh and Unova in canon as far as I can tell, and even with Immediate Zekrom it's at least more chill by comparison.
...And Then Suddenly Kalos (:
Yeah, a lot of the typical Pariah Pokemon (particularly the more "evil" legendaries but also 'mons like Absol or Venipede) get seen in a new light thanks to Ash. And the legendaries that actively cause problems or are just assholes definitely end up on a few shitlists. Though some of the Sinnoh ones are a bit complicated in regards to actually showing up in the streams at all because he can't exactly get an internet connection in the distant past or a collapsing space-time distortion bubble, plus the fact that nobody in the repaired timeline where Arceus didn't Start Shit remembers the Arceus Starts Shit timeline. The wifi does somehow work in the Distortion World though.
Also in defense of Shaymin as a whole it's just that one Shaymin that's a prick. Every other Shaymin both in the series and in that specific movie are perfectly pleasant and actually fit their title as The Gratitude Pokemon from what I remember.

Senshi x Family
(Sailor Moon AU)
☾ ♡ ☽ ☾ ♡ ☽ ☾ ♡ ☽
A gentleman thief.
A magical soldier for love and justice.
And their daughter from the future.
To find the Legendary Silver Crystal to defeat the Dark Kingdom, they form an unlikely family.
Rumours suggest that the Silver Crystal is hid away in Princess D's treasury, part of a collection so rare and priceless hardly anyone has ever seen it. The princess itself lives an elusive life, except for the yearly ball at her academy for the young and gifted and their parents.
If only Chiba Mamoru had a child and wife in order to infiltrate the academy. So when a rabbit-haired girl falls from the sky, he doesn't question his stroke of luck. And when he crosses path with a certain "odango atama" from his youth, it seems like he is set for a perfect pretend-family.
Except when his wife is Sailor Moon and his fake daughter is theirs from the future, chaos ensues.
