Casio SA-76 | Mini Keyboard Review & Demo | 44-Keys 100 Sounds 10 Integrated Songs
youtube
There's no question that Amazon happens to be the primary place many people shop for goods, and that now includes keyboards. Huge amounts of keyboards are sold through Amazon every year.
We decided to go onto Amazon ourselves to see which digital pianos happen to be most popular and determine whether they're actually good buys, and whether or not they're worth all of the 5-Star reviews.
In today's article, we're going to look at one of Amazon's best sellers with the Casio SA-76 44-key portable keyboard.
Let's start with some background.
Casio SA-76 | General Background Battery Powered Option
The first thing that you should know is that this instrument does not come with a power adapter. It supports a power adaptor, but that's an optional extra that you'll have to add on if you want one. As long as you've got the right pin polarity and the right adapter size, pretty much any universal AC adapter will do the trick, so you don't necessarily need to add the Casio branded one.
You can also operate the Casio SA-76 with 6 AA batteries as the power supply, and that's probably the way most family's buying this for young kids will use it.
Super Affordable
The next thing worth noting about the Casio SA76 keyboard is how inexpensive it is. To be able to get something with any kind of piano function for under $100 is a big deal, and up here in Canada, it runs for around $70 CAD and $60 USD in the United States.
Accurate Tuning
It's easy to take for granted when you're playing on a $200, $300, or $400 musical electronic instrument that it happens to be in tune, but so many baby and toddler musical toys aren't even close to being in tune.
Some people might ask if that even matters, but if you're trying to give a young child a musical toy to start laying some musical foundation, it should absolutely play in tune.
Casio SA-76 - Key Specs Casio SA-76 - Key Specs 44 Note Keyboard with Mini Keys
The keyboard has 44 total notes, meaning it's half the number of keys you'd find on a normal piano or keyboard. The keys are also thinner and shorter, hence the name mini keys, as smaller size keys make it easier for small fingers to play. The keys are not touch-sensitive, but that's not going to matter for a young child beginner.
LCD Display
There's a helpful LCD display screen for navigating the different music options, and the interface, in general, is going to be very easy even for a young kid to use.
100 Sounds + 8 Note Polyphony
You have the option of 100 different tones to choose from, with 8 notes of polyphony. 8-note polyphony is not much but fine for the intended use of this beginner keyboard.
Built-In Songs & Rhythms
There are 10 built-in songs and 50 drum patterns, as well as a couple of different playing modes, and even a metronome.
Speakers
There are 2 small speakers and amps on each side, with a total of 2.4 watts of amplifier power.
Casio SA-76 - 3 Piano Modes Casio SA-76 - 3 Piano Modes Tone Mode
As mentioned, there are 100 sounds to choose from on this keyboard. Some of the sounds are quite convincing, while others definitely are not, but it's expected that an instrument this inexpensive would not have the most consistent sound quality.
Out of the 100 sounds, there's a mix of pianos, electric pianos, organ sounds, synthesizers, reeds, harmonica, brass, strings, guitar, bass, mallet instruments, and various others. All of this is available to you in Tone Mode.
Pattern Mode
The second mode on the keyboard is called Pattern Mode. Which is where you start getting into the rhythms. There are 50 drum patterns to choose from and have fun with and 5 drum pads.
Song Bank Mode
Then, there's a third mode called Song Bank Mode. There are 10 built-in songs that you can play back, and this is what is going to get toddlers up and dancing around the house. The songs are fun, high-energy, and perfect for getting a little one excited about music.
Who Is This Instrument For? Casio SA-76 - Young Beginners Best to Avoid If...
Who is this instrument for? Well, we can start by saying who it's not for. The Casio SA76 doesn't have any MIDI connectivity so anyone looking for a super inexpensive and compact MIDI controller or portable & arranger keyboard for production, this won't cut it.
While it is made for toddlers, it's also not the most durable, so the average 18-month-old wouldn't have a problem quickly breaking the keys, and that unfortunately won't be covered under warranty. You'll want to make sure your child is at an age where there a little more gentle with toys.
Young Beginners
So, we're left at this being aimed at young learners to see if there's some musical interest there, at the most basic of levels. This would be a really great gift for a young child, instead of a bit of a cop-out of a gift card, and having them interact with it even for a few minutes a day would probably be a good gauge of whether or not there's some early musical interest.
It's hard to pinpoint an exact appropriate age, but we'd probably it's going to be great for kids around 2 and a half years of age, up to about the age of 7. It's not quite technical enough to keep an older child interested since there's no Bluetooth or other connectors to get it working with a phone.
Perfect Musical Exposure Toy
For the price, this is a really good way to expose a child to some basic musical ideas that can serve as a great building block for furthering musical education.
The biggest downside is that there's no MIDI output which would have actually opened this up to a lot more power. There's no sustain pedal, but this isn't a big deal given the fact that the action isn't touch-sensitive.
Other than that, for what you're getting for the money, this is probably one of the best musical exposure toys on the market. And sure, you could jump for one of the Casiotone 61-key portable keyboard workstations or something from Yamaha that's a bit more substantial, but that's not really necessary.
Closing Remarks
Thanks for reading! We hope you've enjoyed this look at a popular seller on Amazon the Casio SA-76 Mini Keyboard. If you're a parent out there and you are looking for exactly what we're just described, hopefully, you found this helpful.
We'd recommend checking out the accompanying video for a more in-depth review and checking out the rest of our YouTube channel for more musical instrument reviews. Don't forget to visit our website for more article reviews.

Trigger warning: SA and Rape
India seriously has the biggest and most prevalent crisis of rape and sexual violence against women and girls. You cannot tell me a country that allows a doctor to get gang raped by 15 men and killed brutally is in any way okay. In 2024 alone, India had an average of 86 rape cases reported daily, with states like Rajasthan leading with over 5,399 cases. In Goa, 76% of reported rape cases in 2022 were involving little girls. Of course the justice system, controlled by men, fails to protect the women and shields other men. This systemic failure must end. The justice system should not be controlled by men, and men in India should not feel safe committing sexual violence and femicide with impunity. They’re not even addressing this. Indian women deserve better, they deserve to live safely and be protected.

why is Israel bad?/genq
In just a few words because of the ongoing genocide they've been doing to millions of Palestinian families for like 76 years while being financed and supported by the USA and other countries and they love doing that, they shot at kids knees for fun and torture, kill, sa and chase everyone. They're literally like the mustache guy we all know.
You can do more research to understand Palestine's history or to know how to help. You can donate to families' Go Fund Me s or at least share them and you can also click daily here to help Palestinians and the Middle East itself. Polyhedron of the Day #76: Square orthobicupola
The square orthobicupola is a Johnson solid (J28). It has 18 faces, 32 edges, and 16 vertices. It is constructed by attaching two square cupolae at their bases, with like faces adjacent to one another. This shape forms space-filling honeycombs with a host of other polyhedra, including tetrahedra, cubes and cuboctahedra, square pyramids, and others. Its Bowers style acronym is squobcu. Its dual is the deltotrapezohedral hexadecahedron.

U.S. Army Officer Confirms Russian A-50 Radar Jet Was Shot Down With Patriot Missile
The U.S. Army colonel described how Ukrainian Patriot operators staged a “SAMbush” to bring down the A-50 in January of this year.
Thomas NewdickPUBLISHED Jun 10, 2024 6:55 PM EDT
The Beriev A-50U ‘Mainstay’ airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft based on the Ilyushin Il-76 transport aircraft belonging to Russian Air Force in the air. ‘U’ designation stands for extended range and advanced digital radio systems. This aircraft was named after Sergey Atayants – Beriev’s chief designer. (Photo by: aviation-images.com/Universal Images Group via Getty Images).
A U.S.-made Patriot air defense system was responsible for shooting down a Russian A-50 Mainstay airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft over the Sea of Azov on January 14, according to a U.S. Army officer. The high-value aircraft, one of only a handful immediately available to Russia, was the first of two brought down in the space of five weeks. Previously, a Ukrainian official confirmed to TWZ that the second A-50 was brought down by a Soviet-era S-200 (SA-5 Gammon) long-range surface-to-air missile.
Speaking on a panel at the United States Field Artillery Association’s Fires Symposium 2024 last week, Col. Rosanna Clemente, Assistant Chief of Staff at the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, confirmed that the first A-50 fell to a German-provided Patriot system, in what she described as a “SAMbush,” or surface-to-air missile ambush.
“They have probably about a battalion of Patriots operating in Ukraine right now,” Col. Clemente explained. “Some of it’s being used to protect static sites and critical national infrastructure. Others are being moved around and doing some really, really historic things that I’ve haven’t seen in 22 years of being an air defender, and one of them is a SAMbush … they’re doing that with extremely mobile Patriot systems that were donated by the Germans, because the systems are all mounted on the trucks. So they’re moving around and they’re using these types of systems, bringing them close to the plot … and stretching the very, very edges of the kinematic capabilities of that system to engage the first A-50 C2 [command and control] system back in January.”
Fifteen crew members were reportedly killed aboard the A-50.
Col. Clemente also provided some other interesting details of how the Ukrainians worked up their capabilities with these particular systems, which included a period of validation training involving the U.S. Army in Poland in April 2023.

According to Col. Clemente, the German soldiers tasked with training the Ukrainians on the mobile Patriot systems woke up the Ukrainian battery in the middle of the night, marched them to a location where they fought a simulated air battle, and then made them march again. “I was like, ‘Huh, wonder why they did that?’ And it was a month later, they conducted some of their first ambushes where they’re shooting down Russian Su-27s along the Russian border.”
As we reported at the time, the use of Patriot to engage the radar plane over the Sea of Azov seemed likely, especially as it followed the pattern of an anti-access counter-air campaign that Ukraine was already waging against Russian military aircraft using the same air defense system.
Accordingly, in May 2023, Ukraine began pushing forward Patriot batteries to reach deep into Russian-controlled airspace. Most dramatically, a string of Russian aircraft was downed over Russian territory that borders northeastern Ukraine. Among them may have been the Su-27s (or perhaps another Flanker-variant aircraft) that Col. Clemente mentioned.
A screen capture from a Ukrainian Air Force video shows images of three Russian helicopters and two Russian fighters painted on the side of a Patriot air defense system. The three helicopter and two jet images bear the date May 13, 2023. Defense Industry of Ukraine
While the use of German-supplied weapons within Russian territory previously led to friction between Berlin and Kyiv, German officials more recently approved the use of Patriot to target aircraft in Russian airspace.
In December 2023, similar tactics were used against tactical jets flying over the northwestern Black Sea.
These kinds of highly mobile operations were then further proven with the destruction of the first A-50, on the night of January 14.
A Russian Il-22M radio-relay aircraft was also apparently engaged by Ukrainian air defenses the same night, confirmed by photo evidence of the aircraft after it had made it back to a Russian air base. It’s not clear whether the Patriot system was also responsible for inflicting damage on this aircraft, but it’s certainly a probable explanation.
A photo of the Il-22M which purportedly made an emergency landing in Anapa, in the Krasnodar region of western Russia. via X
Both incidents appear to have taken place in the western part of the Azov Sea and, as we discussed at the time, the distances involved suggested that, if Patriot was used, it was likely at the very limits of its engagement envelope.
Based on Col. Clemente’s account, it seems likely that the Patriot system in question was not only being pushed to the limits of its capabilities but was likely being deployed very far forward in an especially bold tactical move.
As we wrote at the time: “Considering risking a Patriot system or even a remote launcher right at the front is unlikely, and these airborne assets were likely orbiting at least some ways out over the water, this shot was more likely to have been around 100 miles, give or take a couple dozen miles.”
Of course, all this also depends on exactly where the targeted aircraft were at the time of the engagement.
A map showing the Sea of Azov as well as Robotyne, which is really the closest Ukraine regularly operates to that body of water, a distance of roughly 55 miles. Google Earth
Once again, the A-50 shootdown may be the most important single victory achieved so far by Ukrainian-operated Patriot systems, but it was part of a highly targeted campaign waged against the Russian Aerospace Forces which has seemingly included multiple long-range downings of tactical aircraft.
The Ukrainian tactics first found success in pushing back Russian airpower and degrading its ability to launch direct attacks and even those using standoff glide bombs, which have wreaked havoc on Ukrainian towns.
The same anti-access tactics extended to Russia’s small yet vital AEW&C fleet have arguably had an even greater effect. After all, these aircraft offer a unique look-down air picture that extends deep into Ukrainian-controlled territory. As well as spotting incoming cruise missile and drone attacks, and low-flying fighter sorties, they provide command and control and situational awareness for Russian fighters and air defense batteries. According to Ukrainian officials, the radar planes are also used to direct Russian cruise missile and drone strikes.
Dmitry Terekhov/Wikimedia Commons
The importance of these force-multipliers has seen earlier efforts to disable them, with A-50s in Belarus having been targeted by forces allied with Ukraine.
The recent appearance of a photo showing a Ukrainian S-300PS (SA-10 Grumble) air defense system marked with an A-50 symbol also indicates that previous attempts were made to bring these aircraft down using this Soviet-era surface-to-air missile, too.
With all this in mind, it’s not surprising that Ukraine’s highly valued, long-reaching Patriot air defense system was tasked against the A-50.
In demonstrating the vulnerability of Russian aircraft patrolling over the Sea of Azov, the January 15 shootdown might have been expected to push these assets back. That may have happened, but another example was then shot down at an even greater distance from the front line, on February 23. The fact that the second A-50 came down over the Krasnodar region fueled speculation that it may have been a ‘friendly fire’ incident.
However, Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), subsequently confirmed to TWZ that the second A-50 — as well as a Tu-22M3 Backfire bomber, in a separate incident — were brought down by the Soviet-era S-200 long-range surface-to-air missile system.
Undoubtedly, there are more details still to emerge about the shootdowns of the two A-50s, not to mention other engagements that the Ukrainian Patriot has been involved in.
However, Col. Rosanna Clemente’s comments confirm that the Ukrainian Air Force is using these critical systems in a sometimes-daring manner, using limited numbers of assets not only to protect key static infrastructure but also to maraud closer to the front lines and bring down high-profile Russian aerial targets. Not only does this force Russia to adapt its airpower tactics for its own survival, reducing its effectiveness, but it also provides another means for Ukraine to fight back against numerical odds that are stacked against it.

Lore olympus gave me whiplash
I'm only 78 episodes in and so far, its feels so whiplashy? Like the sa scene happens at episode 4....EPISODE 4?! And its the episode where the r4pist is first introduced (apollo) like holy shit, i assume it would be in a later episode but jeezus christ.
From what i heard, they want apollo to be liked by people so why not show that like show that hes an arrogant guy yet can be likable until he r4pes persephone. That way, you wouldnt glorify a r4pist while still doing your goal. It's just too quick for it to happen.
Now onto episode 76
Idk why but it feels so...rushed? Like from the timeline, we establish their relationship, they are now commited, hades suggests dinner for both of them which minthe accepts yet doesnt come from alcohol blackout and now were here? Maybe its just the pacing or how much we see minthe and hades together, or maybe im wrong here but this episode seems too fast paced
Oh and dont get me started on hades and heras kiss after she 'comforts' him after getting domestically abused
Like what is this, wtf is this?
Then their flashback where they only just met and are already smooching
This is soap opera levels of pacing, what are we doing?
Edit; the episode where persephone gets r4pes by apollo happens in a different episode though its still the same episode where apollo is first introduce so its still pretty fast paced, especially with what from what i have heard, intended to do

Hedy Lamarr

Mylene Farmer - Maman A Tort (1984) HD 720
Mylène Farmer - Pourvu Qu'Elles Soient Douces
Le pied de nez : Fuck them all - 2005
Mylène Farmer - Fuck them all (Clip Officiel)
N'oubliez pas que mon dernier single s'appelle Fuck them all."
La méconnue : Elle a dit - 2012
Mylène Farmer Elle A Dit Live 2013

Welcome to my fandom writing blog :]
I mostly write full fics for myself, typically reader-insert so others can enjoy. I probably won’t take requests for a full narrative.
I can do headcanons and short imagines for you readers though! Currently I will only do these for almost any characterin Overwatch and Spiderverse, however, since these are my current hyperfixations. (Hammond/Wreckingball and Spider-Ham not included)
I will NOT write about;
R*pe, non-con, or forced scenarios
Underage, SA, questionable/controversial fetishes
Incest, or relatives sharing a partner
Sigma. I’m so sorry. I just can’t.
I WILL write about;
Nearly anything else
Gender and sexuality headcanons
NSFW, fluff, platonic, poly, fun things!!
You just gotta ask :]
If I’m uncomfortable with something, don’t worry about being called out or anything, I will likely just ignore it.
If requesting something for multiple characters, please limit yourself to 5 per ask!
This blog is LGBTQ+ friendly, I won’t tolerate bigotry or the use of harmful slurs, regardless of your ability to reclaim them.
Soldier:76 and Tracer’s sexualities will be respected, I won’t make them heterosexual in any scenario.
And because I am open to doing NSFW, I will have to block any minors I see interacting with this blog.
Requests are Open!
