I know seeing a character marked as "private" is ouuh scary, but for me I have her as a private character because I'm not confident in my portrayal. I've banged on about her and Gast a bit over the years but I haven't written her a great deal, aside from a whirlwind on Discord way back when.

I'm honestly still torn between the original game, where it was more implied she had sustained injuries escaping (I always thought she had been shot), and Remake where ???? Professor Hojo happened for 7 years straight.

(Unless it explicitly comes up that she was injected with Jenova's cells, I'm going to avoid that route. Even then I'm going to ignore it. It does not spark joy.)
