The young man known as Ciel was not actually given that name at birth. He is actually the only surviving of the mostly unknown Phantomhive twins. Cyrus and Ciel were definitely very close, the identical boys the joy of their parent's life. Cyrus, unfortunately, was ill a lot growing up, as well as having severe asthma. He was usually kept inside to keep from getting ill. His brother kept him company as often as he could, the two often playing chess to pass the time. As they got older, Cyrus was able to be around his family more. It was a happy time, and Cyrus liked being able to go out with his parents. Until the fire that destroyed their home, when the boys were taken by a circle of less than honorable nobles. At first, things seemed alright. They were fed and clothes and washed and treated nicely, but it wasn't meant to be. It was soon revealed that they were to be sacrifices ro bring the lord of the nobles to life again, but they would need to be defiled first.Tortured and tormented, the boys begged for help for what felt like ages. Knowing their parents were gone did little to keep their hopes alive. The final breaking point for Cyrus was seeing his twin stabbed. Watching his brother die, Cyrus' anger and hatred lashed out, his very soul screaming for justice, and or summoned the demon who would soon serve him. The demon asked if he understood that heaven would be closed to him, and Cyrus' rebuttal was that someone if faith would never have summoned the demon. In exchange for his brother's life, Cyrus - choosing to take his brother's name - had those who had harmed him and his brother killed. He gave the demon the name Sebastian, and he himself became Ciel Phantomhive with the pain of the faustian mark being embedded into his eye. Sebastian othed the young lad and the two returned to the ruined 0hanto.hive manor, which Sebastian rebuilt in less than a day. In returning, Ciel took on his father's title as Earl, his brothers3 place as betrothed to a noble named Elizabeth, and the job of being the one to snuff out things the Queen didn't trust others in power to do.

The brand on Ciel’s eye was easily hidden with an eye patch, but the emotional and physical scars would take a long time, if ever, to heal. He became cold and tactical.almost overnight, and he didn't let anyone besides Sebastian see him vulnerable. He went to his duties, all the while planning how to find and eradicate the ones who had killed his family. Despite his young age, Ciel was determined to have his revenge and every choice he made from the day he returned was akin to a chess move. Sebastian was Ciel's most powerful.piece in the game against the one who had killed his family, and he had no intention of losing. For two years, Ciel and Sebastian ruled the underworld in exchange for information pertaining to other cases, a blind eye turned to illegal holdings and business as long as the person was deemed useful. Several cases followed that tormented Ciel, though he dared not to show it to anyone. The case of the serial killer known as 'Jack the Ripper' and the case of the Noah's Ark Circus stick most clearly in his mind, even in his present day life as a demon. Jack the Ripper had been a combination of his own aunt, Madame Red, and her red clothed butler, Grell. His aunt's hatred of prostitutes who had thrown away their pregnancies bringing her to a kind of bloodlust killing over and over. The case with the circus known as Noah's Ark hit a deeper chord in Ciel, one that he thought he had locked away.

A nobleman had been using children to find special children, and when the reveal of what was happening came to light, Ciel was trapped between what he and his brother had endured, what one of them had died under, and the closed off, methodical young man he had become since Sebastian had arrived in his life. In the end, he didn’t have much of a choice, choosing to kill anyone involved, and ordering Sebastian to kill the children in cages, recognizing the broken look. It was one he did every day, but he felt it nonetheless. Whatever happened for many years eludes Ciel, the noble too focused on refusing to show the weakness he allowed Sebastian to see the night they burned the manor down. But when there was a turn of events that led to Ciel himself somehow becoming a demon, the young man - now 18 - was dumbfounded to say the least. There wasn’t an end for him, he would forever have to endure the weight of so many emotions. The only plus side to it all was Sebastian, who now had little choice but to remain at Ciel’s side. Things were rocky at first, but a kind of deal came out of it. Sebastian couldn’t take Ciel’s soul, but the two had a kind of business with pleasure arrangement. There weren’t necessarily emotions involved, but there are few Ciel would trust to see him as vulnerable as Sebastian has.

That morning felt surreal. Almost like you were walking through a hazed dream. You awoke to the feeling of calloused hands on your skin, your shirt scrunched up and Kuni’s head tucked in the space between your neck and shoulder. He looked peaceful when he was asleep. The crease above his eyebrows was relaxed and his lips were parted open every so slightly. He looked so inviting.

You awkwardly scooted yourself out of his grasp and got yourself ready while he was asleep. By the time you were done, his head was still under the pillow. You took a quick photo before gently shaking him awake. He grumbled before sitting upwards, his hair sticking up every way as he carded his hand through it.

It was a little too domestic for a pair of people who weren’t even dating yet.

He patted your waist on his way to the bathroom, his hand pinching the skin underneath the hem of your shirt.

It all felt a little too good to be true.

“Why did we have to walk here?” you question, your legs sore as you and Kuni make your way toward the Eiffel Tower.

“Want me to carry your lazy ass?” Kuni asks, earnestly, as you both finally arrive. There’s quite a crowd for it being so early in the evening, causing Kuni to pull up his mask as he grabs ahold of your back to direct you towards the elevator. You let him guide you as he kept you close to him.

He’d told you to dress nicely for lunch, which was why you were now blessed with a view of Kuni clad in a dress shirt as he stared out the lift.

It was all a little too much for you two to not even be official.

You squirm around in your seat, not used to getting spoiled quite like this. It’s true, being a popular streamer made you rather comfortable with money, but you never went out of your way to treat yourself quite like this. You never really had to when Xiao insisted on paying for everything when your group went out.

“Is this too much?” Kuni asks, sliding over a glass of water towards you.

“No, I’m just not used to it,” you answer, taking the glass from him. Even the dishes were fancy.

“You should start getting used to it then,” Kuni calmly says as you almost choke on your water.

A waiter decides to appear right then, sending you a worried look as you waved him off to assure him you weren't dying.

“Bonjour, qu’est ce que vous désiréz commander?” the waiter asked, his accent causing you to only understand the first half of his sentence. You really should’ve paid more attention to your French lessons.

Kuni pulls his mask down, eyeing the menu for a quick minute. You couldn’t help but notice the hue or pink dusting across the waiter’s face as he saw Kuni’s face. Your stomach felt a little sick at the sight

“Bonjour, on prendra le plat du jour,” Kuni answers, his usual voice tilted with a slight accent.

The waiter notes it down and turns away to walk off before looking back.

“Désolé, est-ce que je peux avoir ton numéro de téléphone?” He questions, his ears a bright red.

Kuni gestures at you in response, “Désolé, j'ai déjà quelqu'un.”

The waiter quickly nods and scurries off. You feel a bit proud of that, whatever it was.

“Hope you don’t mind I ordered for you, you mentioned you liked this dish before,” Kuni says, pointing to the menu.

“It’s cool,” you answer, “I didn’t know you knew French.”

“My mom forced me to learn,” Kuni hums.

“That means you can seduce in French, right?” you joke.

“I suppose I can if you’re into it,” Kuni easily says, “Weird ass.”

“Say something sexy to me then,” you propose, leaning forward.

Kuni’s pale cheeks flush underneath your gaze, but he still abides by your request. He reaches across the table to grab ahold of your hand, caressing your knuckles with his thumb.

“Tu es magnifique sous le ciel étoilé,” he muses.

“What’s that mean? It sounded hot.”

“J'aimerais être assez courageux pour pouvoir t'embrasser,” he says instead, a smirk tilting up on his lips.

“You’re so mean,” you huff, ignoring how his hands felt on yours.

He kept it there until your guys’ meal arrived, only letting go when you both had to eat.

Overtime as Ciel and Bluewer bonded more and more, the other three got jealous. Joanne was a sweetheart, sure.. Edward was entertaining, Cheslock was... well, he was there.

Redmond was the first to initiate with Ciel, other than Bluewer. Ciel hesitantly agreed to sit with Redmond one day, not wanting to get on his bad side. Redmond, the whole time, was praising or complimenting Ciel somehow.

Violet was next. He asked for Ciel to be his muse, continuing to sketch the boy in various positions and situations. Some were more suggestive than others, causing Ciel to flush up. He thanked Violet regardless, accepting the sketches. Surprisingly, he didn't ask Sebastian to burn them.

Greenhill is more subtle, but after Sebastian pointed his advances out, Ciel can't unsee it. Greenhill was more fatherly, in a way. Not a father figure, but showed his affection in a way a distant father would. Patting Ciel's head, calling him 'kid' or 'bud' rather than a cute nickname like Redmond gives...

Meanwhile, Ciel was confused. Did Bluewer know about the other's advances on him? He'd personally grown used to it at this point, but he didn't want to turn his back on Lawrence.

"Bluewer..?" Ciel peered into Blue House, Lawrence sat alone, reading some book he found in the library. Upon noticing the boy, he lowered the book and locked his gaze to Ciel. "What is it?"

Ciel told him about what the other three had been doing, and asked if it was something they typically did with each other's fags. Hearing a 'no' leave Lawrence's lips made him nervous.

"..Is it okay for it to be happening? I mean, they have their own fags..." Ciel asked, nervousness tinting his 'perfect student' tone.

Bluewer only raised a brow. "Huh? Of course. I do not own you, Ciel. You do what you wish, just don't try being a replacement for their fags."

That.. wasn't the answer Ciel was expecting.

What he definitely wasn't expecting was for Bluewer to bring up their conversation to the other three at the Swan Gazebo. Right in front of him. Except Edward, Cheslock, and Joanne were preforming tasks elsewhere...

Redmond laughed it off, Violet blushing just barely, Greenhill seeming the most worried there. "Do you not like it?" he'd ask, Ciel giving a reassuring (albeit hesitant) 'I do'.

So now, whenever Ciel is alone with them in the Swan Gazebo, he'd be passed around like some sort of blunt to be loved on.. though, he didn't mind it.

What he DID mind? Sebastian laughing at him at the end of the day.

First things first, this doesn’t happen very often, he’s very proper and has much work to do so it’s rare he finds the time to sneak in a few bottles.

He doesn’t really enjoy it more as a distraction, and a short relief mechanism since he knows how he gets while drunk. He can get a bit more emotional and clingy then he’s comfortable with showing.

It takes ALOT of drinking for this man to get hammered, after all he’s a demon so his tolerance is a bit higher then that of a human. Which is a blessing and curse considering how many bottles go in one night just trying to get tipsy

One time he came to your room at the dead of night. Like I’m talking about 2-3 am in the morning, you barely heard his knock that could be considered a tap due to how silent it was. You grudgingly open the door revealing Sebastian, he stumbled slightly as you open the door which startled him a bit so he just put his full weight on as he stumbled forward leaving you concerned and confused at what happened. He only buried his face in chest while playing with a strand of your hair, and if your short mind you this demon is quite tall so he was basically bending down and if your tall he was basically hugging onto your hips while doing so. You knew something was off due to his composer, he usually was more of a gentleman around you so him doing this randomly differently gave him away.

“Y/n, darling may I invite you to dance?” His words slurred and dragged out. Leaving you chuckling at the randomness and inviting him into your room to make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid, your bed wasn’t the biggest but it was big enough for you two to lay comfortably on.

On nights like those he usually just relaxes his body and/or makes you stroke his hair to relax his spinning head.

Ciel is more or less confused when Sebastian walks out your room looking a bit more dead then usual

“Your late!” Ciel said angrily as he stared daggers into the demon. Sebastian could only bow as he apologized “I’m sorry my lord” he said his voice a bit deeper and bumper then usual but ciel only waved him off to straighten himself up

After getting drunk he definitely freshens up pretty quickly cause as said he’s a busy demon especially with ciel so he doesn’t have much time to recover from the night before

The day after him getting drunk he usually doesn’t drink for another 3-6 months? As said he doesn’t have much time for it

But with that being said he, he loves drink wine red wine to be exact, especially with you. He finds if the most relaxing especially since he finds it the most tolerable. He can’t get drunk off two or five glasses like I’ve said before but wine for some reason doesn’t effect him all that much unless he downs like 10 bottles of something

If ciel and the rest are already asleep he loves taking you to dance around in the kitchen or garden of the manor, he loves seeing your skin in the shining moon, it always complimented your dark/tan/light skin in his opinion

OH! And at the beginning, where I said he was clingy? Let’s explore that more!

When he’s not drunk he’s very proper. He is overprotective and clingy to you when not drunk don’t be mistaken but it’s more hidden and less suspected then when he’s drunk

When he’s drunk he’ll just materialize behind you and just hug your waist and is over all more touchy. Not as proper or Romantic when sober but over all more lose when so it’s a big change

Sometime he loves whispering thing into your ear when you don’t know he’s behind you, he just finds your experience funny he does end up apologizing when you scold him 💀

Overall more clingy and over you, he can’t really help it (-.-💧) he usually remembers everything once sober and it makes him a bit embarrassed

■ Main Story

“Please save the world.” …This case begins with a single e-mail. It arrived in the mailbox of Neon Nanashiki, the “Gaming Chair Detective,” straight from an in-development full-dive VR game. Filled with curiosity, Neon gets to work hacking into the unfinished title. When Neon manages to log into the game, Rust Tactics, he meets a lone young woman. “Ancie,” [ahn-see] a developer on the game, was investigating powerful data run rampant inside the virtual world—Mad Obstructive Data, or MODs for short. Neon is not one to turn down a case, and accepts without hesitation. He promises Ancie to fix RT’s world, and ventures into the dangerous MOD Dungeons investigate. As the two begin to restore order to RT’s world, they find strange data in the dungeons, called “Error Fragments.” Suddenly, a mysterious man called “Selevan Nanakt” appears to steal the fragments from them. Selevan Nanakt (voiced by Jack Ayres in English)

A mysterious man who suddenly appears in RT’s world. He steals the Error Fragments that Neon has found and uses their power to open up a “security hole,” a dimensional rift, creating a new MOD Dungeon. Nanakt seems to know something about the MOD phenomena that Neon is investigating… He wishes to “overwrite the world” using the Error Fragments.

RiTa (voiced by Jackie Lastra in English)

A powerful MOD in the form of a young woman, summoned by Nanakt. Her song has the power to interfere with reality itself. RiTa has no will of her own and moves solely on Nanakt’s command.

♦ Clear Out a Room and Reap the Rewards!

Eradicate all enemies from any room in the dungeon, and you’ll get a choice of 3 different rewards.

♦ Recovery

Recovery will restore a portion of your HP.

There are very few ways to restore your HP during a dungeon, and this is the most reliable.

♦ Position

Choose a card from your deck or a Muse you have acquired to position them in the dungeon room.

—Having an ally on the field will grant you a bonus while battling in nearby rooms.

When you choose a Muse to position, they will perform from the very beginning of battle in nearby rooms, granting their powerful passive bonus and Special Skill energy immediately. Any cards you Position will be temporarily removed from your deck and will return when moving to the next floor.

♦ Enhance

Choose this to apply a “Cheat Code” to one of three random cards in your deck. Cheat Codes are powerful additional effects that apply not only to the card you choose, but also every copy of that card in your deck. They can grant additional damage, reduce the card’s playing Cost, or even buff your damage simply by drawing it! You’ll be able to stack up to three Cheat Codes on a single card, so the Enhance option is always useful for powering up your deck.

■ Game System: Dungeon Rewards

Defeat the boss waiting at the end of a dungeon to clear it and earn a slate of rewards. Based on how you clear the dungeon, you’ll accelerate Neon’s growth, unlock new difficulty levels, and progress the main story.

♦ Dungeon Results

Aim for as Few Turns as Possible!

Your goal in each dungeon is defeat the powerful boss waiting at the end. Achieve that, and you’ll see the Results screen where you’ll get your well-earned rewards.

The score you earn at the end of the dungeon is largely determined by how many turns you took in battle. Winning battles in as few turns as possible is certainly important, but skipping battles entirely is an even bigger step to improving your score. This will also let you run through dungeons even faster! However, fight too few battles, and your deck and Muses may not be strong enough to take on the boss and Elite foes awaiting you. Striking this delicate balance will earn you a top score!

Dungeon Rewards

Clearing a dungeon will unlock new difficulty levels.

Higher difficulties will not only increase enemy stats, but also add new and interesting twists to battles with special rules. Earn a high enough score when clearing a dungeon to unlock up to 3 new difficulties at once! Clearing a dungeon will also earn “Decode Tokens” which are used to power up your player character.

Each new difficulty level you tackle means more tokens to earn. You can spend them to improve the odds on every dungeon you tackle, to improve your drop rates, Cheat Codes, HP, and more!

Theme Song: “To the Promised Sky”!

Card-en-Ciel features 50 vocal songs performed by the Muses in-game. These songs are created for the fictional game universes as if they were the real theme songs, battle themes, and endings, all composed in the style and genres of the appropriate eras. Today, we are revealing the theme song of Card-en-Ciel itself, performed by Ancie’s Japanese voice actress, Ruriko Noguchi, with a special music video!

Muse #2- Angelina Dalles / Madam Red

Age 32-34 ( anime and manga )

Baroness Angelina Dalles-Burnet, nicknamed An and known to her peers as Madam Red, is the widow of Baron Burnett, younger sister of Rachel Phantomhive, and aunt of "Ciel" and Ciel Phantomhive. Along with Grelle Sutcliff, Angelina is responsible for the Jack the Ripper murders.

Angelina is an outgoing, frivolous individual with an earthy sense of humor. She once suggested that Sebastian Michaelis work for her, on account of his being handsome, while casually stroking his back. On another occasion, she attempted to make Undertaker laugh by telling him a dirty joke. Despite her crude personality, Angelina believes that ladies are more attractive if they act innocent, naïve, fragile, and cheerful, particularly around their lords; she had instilled this very concept into the young Elizabeth Midford.

Angelina cares deeply about her family. She admires and loves her sister, Rachel Phantomhive, whose asthma motivated her to become a doctor, as she wanted to cure her condition. Moreover, Angelina treats Ciel Phantomhive as though he were her own son; she once requested that Sebastian protect him, and she could not bring herself to harm him, even when they were adversaries.

The deaths of her family members have greatly traumatized her. As a result of said deaths, she turns to violence and develops a cruel disregard for human life. Which is why she had teamed up with a grim reaper to exact her revenge on who she had deemed undeserving.

Angelina has a complicated relationship with her hair and the color red. Although she considers red as the color that defines her, hence her title of "Madam Red," she also harbors resentment toward it. Initially, she loathed her red hair, which she inherited from her father; she would cover up her hair and keep her bangs long to hide her face. After Vincent Phantomhive, the man she loved, stated that he liked her hair, as it reminded him of "the colour of lycoris, a colour that blazes the earth," she cut her bangs, took pride in her hair, and embraced the color red. When Vincent and Rachel married, Angelina disliked red again, even though she was glad that the two people she loved most were happy.[15] After she lost her husband and her baby a carriage accident, as well as the rest of her family to a fire, she described red as the color she hated the most.

Vincent once said that Angelina's hair reminded him of the color of lycoris. The poisonous plants of the lycoris genus usually bloom near cemeteries; because of that, they are associated with longing, separation, death, reincarnation, and the afterlife in Chinese and Japanese legends and often used as funeral flowers. In one legend, it is also said that, when someone meets a person they may never meet again, lycoris would bloom along the path.

okay okay!! hello here is a real quick plotting/starter call! i’ve got blurbs for all my characters so toss this a like to plot or if you just want to get some stuff started feel free to  reply with who you want things for/from. please only request THREE STARTERS per mun because otherwise i just will not have time for everything. in terms of pre plot drop things i do wanna keep some chill vibe and am fine doubling up on threads but i will probably pick and choose stuff to transition based on muse. feel free to transition any of our stuff as you see fit!

she’s fighting more than she should that’s for sure. she’s good with a bow and arrow, but idk how much that’ll do here. honestly i think she could do well with a gun if someone just gave her one. will try and help people where she can. open to injury

she can handle herself but boy is she tired of fighting. she’s always got a few weapons on her so she’s managing but she’s mostly trying to make sure her and her girlfriend are safe

fae are hard to fully kill in her world so she’s not too stressed. she’s small has a crossbow, and is going for it. will mostly be trying to help people in need and get them to nice quiet places

horrible puppet man is amused by all of this he’s the worst. may purposely lead people into danger while claiming to take them to safety because he’s the absolute worst!! or is just taking advantage of the chaos to attack people. i would not recommend approaching.

he can fight! a little! he swears! but he’s drunk and has already had such a night he is attempting to get help and hide immediately. will shamelessly cling to anyone who seems like they can protect him

SHI QINGXUAN

they’re a little disappointed things went south but qingxuan can take care of herself. if she took a bottle from the bar in the chaos that’s her business. another one who doesn’t love fighting, and is nervous, but capable enough with monsters just like this luckily

TOPH BEIFONG

honestly! super excited loves a good fight this is so much better than some fancy lame dance! will protect people if the opportunity is available but is more focused on just knocking some monsters around

unfortunately zagreus thinks fighting is fun and will be trying to keep track ofhow many monsters he can take out. if you want someone way too upbeat given the situation he’s your guy

another immortal not too worried about getting hurt. he’s more of the helpful sort though, and can create pretty powerful shields, and will do so to get people out of danger as needed. not fighting so much since he’s retired from that, but protection is definitely available from him.
