After the final battle, everyone who went into the battle came out alive, but midnight is still dead and oboro couldn't be separated from whatever afo did to make him kurogiri. Eri learns how to use her quirk and rewinds Aizawa to have his eye and foot back.

Class 1-A is now class 3-A, and they're doing a training field trip with mic and aizawa as supervisors.

Suddenly, they're attacked. Everyone in class 3-A knows the drill by now and they start fighting.

Hizashi is fighting nearby Shouta when he sees, out of the corner of his eye, someone sneaking up on Shouta. Instinctively, he knows, *he knows,* that he won't be able to warn Shouta in time. Instead, he jumps in front of the guy. He thinks he's gonna be okay, that he'll be a little hurt but nothing that won't heal eventually, when at the last second, the guy turns his hand into stone and *crushes* Hizashi's neck. The sound has Shouta whipping around, and Shouta's scream of pure terror has everyone on the battlefield turning to look at them.

The class goes *feral.* As Shouta drops to the ground to cradle Hizashi, the class downs the rest of the villains in 20 seconds. Shouta is desperately trying to remove the speaker from the horrible mangled mess that is Hizashi's neck and stop the bleeding, but Hizashi's windpipe has been crushed. They don't have the equipment to get him air and help is too far away. He knows he's not going to make it.

Shouta is shaking his head desperately as his hands flutter around Hizashi's neck, trying to do whatever he can. Yaoyorozu is frantically trying to make medical supplies, but she doesn't know, she *doesn't know,* how to make the the things her sensei would need. The rest of the class is trying to help in whatever way they can, but they're sobbing, knowing deep inside that there's *nothing* they can do.

Hizashi smiles up at them, trying to reassure them, his hand coming up to cradle Shouta's cheek. Shouta clutches his hand, weeping. He tells him, in a shaky voice, that Hizashi doesn't have to smile if it hurts, that he doesn't have to reassure them. Hizashi's smile softens into a more real one, not one just for the sake of reassurance. Even as Shouta is hurting so desperately, he's still so kind, he's thinking about Hizashi instead of himself. He knows Shouta will be able to see the rest of his life for him even if Hizashi won't get to see it, and so he finally lets himself rest.

When the paramedics and back-up get there 15 minutes later, they find a field of downed villains, with class 3-A surrounding Aizawa, who is cradling Mic in his lap. Aside from quiet sobbing, the area is silent.

Akari is the youngest of the gear station crew so everyone is constantly looking out for "the baby" (affectionate) Making sure the baby has her lunch, making sure the baby has all her hygiene needs, keeping the baby safe from people who want dawn's autograph or a battle. Akari left her family at the first chance, so the support of the gear station crew means everything to her. Maybe someone, a leftover from team galactic or team plasma, mistakes her for Dawn and thinks they'll get revenge on her and abduct her. Except they made a mistake, because they took gear station's baby and there will be hell to pay.

Really sad ending! First part

Time passes. The funeral is set up, and many, many people come to speak about him and remember him. Shouta and Tensei reconnect. They hold each other up through this time and help each other when needed. Somehow, they make it through, and they start to heal.

3 years later, a remaining group of Stain fanatics attack Tensei. The group stalls his engines and the wheels of his wheelchair and then push him off a bridge to the road below. Back-up doesn't get there in time. Tensei dies on impact. When Shouta hears, he crumples. He is the last one left, and he doesn't know what to do with himself. His problem class comes in and helps take care of Eri while he grieves, but eventually he picks himself back up. He has to raise Eri, and he still has to teach. He stops active hero work to focus on his daughter and the next generation ~~and because he knows that chasing villains would be too much of a temptation, that one day he might go out and give up and never come back~~. Although, he recovers some, he never forgets. He is never the same again.
