And, well - as Mogura pointed out before, it's one of the few places Shio can go and not be followed by ghosts... so even subconsciously, she must find the Nekozuku household very comfortable~

I really loved the detail of Mogura using kintsugi to repair Sakurako's broken maneki neko this episode, as it's a perfect representation of his role in the lives of those who encounter him.

Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with powdered gold. Instead of trying to hide the damage, it highlights the broken seams as a thing of beauty. The fact that it once broke becomes an invaluable part of the item's history.

Mogura helps revitalize old and broken things, and just might make them even better in the process. This isn't just true for objects, but for the people he helps as well ^^

I could SO see them cutting it out like they did with the Monster Sweepers investigation, I'm honestly shaking in my boots over it...

On the other hand, I also can't see them passing up the opportunity to show Hoshina training all sexy-like before she bursts into the room... so I'm hopeful that the anime staff's thirst for Hoshina will win out in the end!!!

I didn't expect much, but I was still a bit bummed that they didn't include Akari and Hakua in the funeral ceremony.

They're supposedly Kikoru's close friends - you know, the recently orphaned girl who's dad just died? The one the funeral is for?? But no thought is given to them at all...

It's just disappointing, and clearly highlights the story's disinterest in female characters (unless they're directly linked to a popular male character in some manner - not romantically, just in general.)

Minute Okonogi-chan has returned~

Hearing her go into detail on the kind of work she has to do behind the scenes was fun lol I'm just picturing her calling Narita airport management after the No. 12 fight like

"Please understand that Vice Captain Hoshina's act of falling leaping from the JAKDF designated helicopter to create a large crater along your main runway was integral to the operation."

Most importantly, it was great hearing Hoshina thank Okonogi in such a defeated tone...... ufufufu........

I really liked the additional scenes of Kafka going home to tidy stuff up for when he disappears and going to go see his old cleanup buddies... it was really sweet!!

But him handling that chainsaw and cutting up kaiju flesh with zero protective gear made me shudder >.< that's dangerous in multiple ways! Somebody stop him!!!

Christmas gift shenanigans from last year! This was the start of a comic where Kikoru and Reno competed to see who could give Kafka the better presents but both lose to Mina in the end. (And they ended up buying presents for each other!)

I was travelling at the time and never got the chance to pick them back up, so I didn't finish it.

Exhibit 5: Kikoru's training regime! As shown, she uses her charms to put Reno to work but Narumi doesn't approve. (Worse? It works)
