the thing abt this whole mess is that it holds strong to the tenets of the blackpool combat club. primarily the concept that iron sharpens iron, that the bcc infighting is different.

for mox this is a moment to strengthen himself. to put the dragon down. he doesn't want to hurt this friend, he's begged bryan to not take this path. but in the end it's mox's responsibility to put down the lame horse. it'll make him stronger. for someone so closely loyal like mox, when he bonds with someone it's deep. to have to break that bond for the better of them both is a hard act for mox.

for claudio this is a time where under any means necessary he has to show yuta the true of matters. what's at hand. doing what's necessary has broken down their relationship. claudio is sacrificing himself, the hurt of having to harm yuta, so that yuta can grow stronger. additionally Claudio is also doing something similar to mox in the sense of having to sacrifice his loyalty, his love, & time with bryan to help end his career. incredibly tough thing to do to your friend.

for bryan this is the time that solidifies his legacy. in a lot of ways he knows he has to be this guy for them to band together against, just like regal. providing the fires to forge something new. breaking himself down to sharpen the others.

& finally for yuta this is the moment. this is what forged in combat means. mox & claudio have declared war on bryan, vice versa. despite all yuta had been through, that was just the training. the boot camp if you'll excuse the military metaphor. this is the war. this is where he becomes the wrestler he is meant to be, forged in the combat of his faction. a war created for yuta to teach him the things regal talked abt & preached, a war build to create suffering & strife in yuta so that he can become stronger.

iron sharpens iron. forged in combat. be real. step up or get stepped on. all of these things are in the current story. everything their faction has embodied since day one is being used in the bcc civil war. it's all culminating.
