For me, it just makes me think about how, like, Root Beer Soda is something that's also primarily an American invention, because in other parts of the world, ginger root is more commonly used to flavor medicines.

So for people in Japan and some European countries, a can of A&W root beer is one of the most vile things they can drink.

But as an American? I love a good, cold root beer soda.

It's a hard, cultural disconnect. You grew up with one or the other and things from the opposite side of the divide seem strange and unusual to you.

And that's okay.

I get that hershey is not the highest quality chocolate but when people play up how bad it is, I straight up don't respect their opinion anymore
