on one hand karlach not leaving my party as i do everything that ive done in act 3 is unrealistic and she should have attacked me at this point. preferably right before the end when she realizes i truly have no intentions of doublecrossing gortash.

on the other hand karlach has survived literal fucking onslaughts when me, shadowheart, and astarion were all taking naps on the floor. and fighting her sounds like a bad time even if i get steel watch backup

i’ve been thinking about the pokémon memes where it’s like playing off of that one quote that’s like ‘truly strong trainers should try to win using their favorites’ and it’s like ‘ok well my favorite is [something blatantly overpowered]’ and it’s got me curious. how many people genuinely love pokémon that also happen to be really strong competitively?

edit: forgot to mention i mean specifically in SV! which is what comes up by default. rip every pokémon that either isn’t in SV (it’ll say ‘national dex’) or used to be better but has since fallen off relative to new pokémon

i’m sorry but there is just something SO endearing about jack quaid’s boimler drawing. like i’ve genuinely been thinking about it all day

the scratchy lines at the top of the circle, the “raisin fields” label, boimler’s dead expression, the obvious garfield inspiration, his stupid hat, the wheat in his mouth…… like i have spent all day picking this drawing apart and it just never gets old for me. it’s so endearing.

(Now 3 doesnt usually spawncamp but in higher level topside turf/in trenchturf, they WILL execute it to secure wins. Its either the opponents, or their team doing it in those matches.

They frequently do this in trench more than anywhere else bc down there...you better be on the winning team if you wanna survive to fight another day.

Theres reason for most folks revering or fearing them on the field. They will play whatever strategy will secure a win, regardless of how ruthless it is.)

Man I just love ClownPierce. Like when he gets into bad pvp situations and close to death he goes silent or deafens, and because of everything that he's built up over his whole career he instantly gives off the aura of pissed, scary, murderous, livid, effortless in his escaping or destruction.

But occasionally, on someone else's stream or content, you hear what really goes on in his mind and it's always terror and ultimate focus so deep that listening and responding to someone else is impossible and incredibly stressful for him to do.

But he cleanly covers that all up by being silent and then getting perfect revenge later.

like i love how you get all that without breaking the narrative? like you have to intuit his fear from consuming lots of content. it's not like he goes on a character arc that shows his vulnerable side or smth boring like a tv show would do when they run out of other ideas. its just an extra layer to the whole complex thing.
