Bit of a different plushie positivity post this time. Sometimes, "it's all gonna be okay!!" actually isn't the case and isn't helpful to hear.

As I lay in bed with a plushie in my arms, I think to myself...

Plushies will always be proud of you. From dentist trips or long work shifts and/or classes, to simply getting out of bed or eating. Like a loyal pup or a devoted parent, they will be proud of anything you've done. An unconditional friend 🧸💞

it really makes my day whenever i see someone in public with a stuffed animal. the simple fact that someone else cares about a little plushie so much to bring them everywhere always warms my heart. does it have a name, a backstory? i get to see a peek inside this person's world... that's so wonderful!

so, i was looking thru plushie dreadfuls and i had some issues with the npd bunny. out of spite, i decided to design my own npd bunny!

symbolism: - crown to represent desire for superiority and praise - mask to represent false ego and, well, masking - mask is cracked to represent the false ego breaking, aka crashing, also represents that masking is very tiring - primarily green color palette to represent envy - large heart on the center to represent large ego and big emotions - gem motif to represent brilliance, uniqueness, and beauty - frills to spice things up, appear fancier, and make it more unique - green arrows pointing up towards the face to represent drawing attention to self

i wanted to represent npd in a more beautiful and less stigmatizing way. i hope you like it!

i love my fellow fat selfshippers. your f/o loves you so damn much, not in spite of your size, but in part because of it. the curve of your stomach, the meat of your thighs, all of it is just so beautiful to them it makes them swoon. they could never be disgusted by you or your weight. how could they when it belongs to the person they love most?

hi reminder that there’s no shame in needing a comfort object to function!

i’m a full adult and still have meltdowns when i’m separated from my plushies for even a few minutes. i never go places without them. i cannot exist without them.

it’s not a flaw in my being! it’s just my autism! needing a comfort object doesn’t make you lesser. it doesn’t make you weak or childish or a failure. i wish courage to anyone who needs it to bring your comfort items with you wherever they can help!

They don’t think it’s weird. They don’t think it’s childish. In fact, they think it’s one of the cutest things about you. They love how much comfort and joy your plushies bring you, and because of that, they cherish them just as much as you do.
