Shortly after reading Lockwood and Co, I sent my best friend a series of texts chaotically explaining why it was so important to me. Please enjoy the following brain rot:

"Because it's about a girl who doesn't have much of a family (she has a lot of sisters, but they don't really care about her and she has a horrible mother). She hears voices in her head and has emotions she doesn't know how to control. Half the time, she's the worst version of herself. But these two boys find her, and they take her in. They very quickly realize how talented she is, but because she is so talented they know how vulnerable she is and they promise themselves to never let anything happen to her. But it's not just about safety on the job: it's about her being loved. This girl who was never loved right. Not by her parents, not by her sisters, not by her employers. And suddenly, she has a family she didn't even mean to create, one she's scared to trust. But Lockwood and George are constantly saying "I love you". By making her toast without her asking, and by checking in on her, and by making her feel seen. By a thousand tiny little domestic gestures of familiarity. There are so many times where it honestly would have made sense for them to let her go. She's wildly irresponsible. She breaks the rules. She's a liability. But they never, ever let her go. Because, more than they need her, she needs them. It's not about her talent. It's about her. It's about how Lucy Carlyle is broken and lost and two golden retriever boys pull her out of the gutter and convince her that she matters and means something.

And there is a tremendous, aching hole in his chest where they are supposed to be, but he lets that make him kind. Sure, it makes him a little more reckless. Sure, he needs therapy. But he loves fiercely, despite being scared to do it. People matter to him. Saving people matters to him. Being the person his loved ones need matters to him.

And then there's George. He's goofy and socially awkward. He's the third wheel, the one who is convinced he's unnecessary. But Lucy and Lockwood would die before leaving him. Because they DO need him.

And these three, extremely broken children who have lost something in one way or another come together and have breakfast at midnight in the kitchen. And make tea, and doodle on their table cloth, and take turns washing the dishes, and give one another a home."

ANYWAY, I’m in a very sleepy mood so here’s cuddle headcanons for the turtles

~LEO~

-This guy is so goofy

-Constantly grabbing at your ass or tights to massage them while teasing you about it

-He loves to lay on you or having you lay on him

-Lots of churring and snuggling (if you have a prominent chest it’s not yours anymore, it’s his)

-Muffled rambling about literally any topic

-Praises your body constantly (not in a sexual way, this guy is just head over heels about you and wants to make sure you know it)

-“I have no idea why you worry so much, you’re so damn beautiful”

-PLEASE take his mask off and gently caress his face markings, this guy will MELT

-Will NEVER admit how much he actually enjoys your cuddles

-Will have you sit on his lap as he works, chest to chest

-…or you laying on his chest and viceversa

-The very first times he kept everything on- battleshell included

-But after a while he allowed you to take off his mask

-The shell thing is a bit more delicate (Yk?Cause he’s a softshell turtle? God I want to hang myse-) and might take more time

-But if you play your cards right he’s throwing it out the window in a few months

-When he’s not rambling he’ll just lay there and melt in your touch

-Whether you’re running your hands through his bare shell or caressing his face and muscles he’ll just let you love him

-He finded it hard to let you cuddle him, let alone him cuddling you…

-A lot of patience is needed but will be rewarded

Im new to tumblr. I’ve been drawing for most of my life and animating for about 7 years now… I hope to get better in the future :3!! I am into lots of medias but my brain is too fried to think rn. My hyperfixation right now is obviously regretevator. But also I draw more then just regretevator so expect that from me as well. Tickletober Day 12- Mischief

This was requested awhile ago by @blahhhhhhhohmigosh. Hope you enjoy!

You snickered to yourself as you doodled a goofy mustache on Eugene’s face with black ink. It was the finishing touch to your masterpiece of a prank. You had already stolen Varian’s goggles, rearranged Eugene’s countless hair and skin products, and turned Ruddiger green.

You were quite pleased with yourself and your mischief making.

You gasped as Eugene snorted awake, his eyes flying open.

You fumbled your drop the pen, but you only made things worse for yourself so you did the reasonable thing and bolted from the scene.

Eugene walked to his mirror to freshen up and screamed in horror.

“Y\N! You’re dead, kid!”

You laughed and continued running, not noticing Varian coming down the hall until you smacked into him.

“Aha! I knew it was you! Give me my goggles!”

Panicking, you blurted out in a very calm, not suspicious way,

“What goggles?”

Varian squinted at you, unamused by your attempt to play dumb.

“The ones on your head.”

“Oh those goggles! Nah, I think I’ll keep ‘em.”

You went to skip away, but Varian grabbed your arm and pulled you back.

“Give them back and give Ruddiger a bath, Y/N. Or else.”

You stuck out your tongue.

“Or else what, nerd.”

Varian was about to respond when Eugene stormed around the corner, his doodled face contorted in frustration.

“Oh, good! You got them Hairstripe.”

“Yeah. Let me guess. They did that to you?”

Eugene glared at you and you pulled a face at him.

“Yes, they did. As well as completely disorganizing my vanity! How am I supposed to wash this off if I don’t know where little Picasso here put the right cleanser!”

Varian snorted and disguised it as a cough.

“So what are we going to do with the little twerp?”

You gulped and tried to make a run for it, but Eugene grabbed you and held you up by the armpits.

“I know just the thing to teach our little friend here a lesson.”

The ex conman said, grinning at Varian before saying,

“They happen to be very ticklish.”

Varian’s eyes lit up and he grinned, atlash of his old villain days returning for a split second as he watched you thrash in Eugene’s grasp.

“Perfect.”

All hell broke loose as both sides of your stomach were ruthlessly tickled.

You screamed and thrashed, laughing hysterically and begging for mercy.

“So, you gonna apologize?”

Eugene’s asked from behind you.

“N-Never!”

Varian’s eyebrows shot up in amusement and surprise at your gall.

“No? Are you sure?”

Fingers dug in everywhere and anywhere they could find, leaving you hysterical and gasping for breath by the time you blurted,

“Nohohohoho! I’m sohohohorry! I’m sorry! I’ll do anything just stahahahahap!”

As soon as they started, the tickles stopped and you were set back on your feet.

“That’s good. No you are going to reorganize my vanity.”

Eugene said.

“And give me my goggles,”

You huffed and handed Varian his goggles.

“And give Ruddiger a bath.”

You were about to object, but Varian poked your side and threatened,

“Or we can just tickle you some more.”

“Okay, okay I’ll give the stupid trash panda a bath and help organize Eugene’s vanity!”

Both boys seemed pleased with the answer, but a few hours later when all was said and done Eugene screamed again when he realized you had swapped his shampoo with hair dye.

it’s the spotted gray family of thunderclan! tadaa!

i like designing these guys in family batches instead of being on their own. but i’ll have individual cats who i’ll grab every now and then. but for now--here’s the brindlekids! keep in mind though, most of these are my headcanon versions of these guys. so if they differ from canon, that’s just how my variation of them is.

brindleface is the spunky-big mamma of thunderclan. she’s the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet, who will almost immediately come to your rescue even if she just met you. but man, will she scold you up and down for being such a feather-brained fool! she’s one of the best clan “wrestlers.” due to her being so fluffy and strong, brindleface is very talented at pouncing and fighting, and will even challenge cats at gatherings to see if they can even get her paw down.

oh the bitter boyo, ashfur. he’s probably one of the most canon-diverging characters i have, so sit back and get ready for this guy! ashfur is a goofy guy, who likes playing around and making quips if given any opportunity to do so. he has a tendency to be pretty sharp with his words though, so one playful jab can turn into a quick remark on something you might hold dear. he has a bit of a grudge streak, which is an unfortunate mix when it comes to his relationships. which especially holds true to his boyfriend, brambleclaw. those two could fight all day if you left ‘em at it.

my sweet babi babi girl, i love her so very much. ferncloud is the gentle jam of her family. while her ma and brother are rough and rowdy, ferncloud is much more preferential to sitting aside and cheering them on. she’s not much of a fighter, and she isn’t the best at remembering stuff. but what she does love is taking care of others! be it getting them prey, cleaning up some of their nest or even getting them little presents! she may not like fighting or rough housing, but she will walk about the forest and find the prettiest leaf for her friends!

elderkit and tulipkit weren’t initially in the plan to add to the family, but i figured “why not.” i don’t have a lot of notes on them, but they both are very much their own characters. elderkit and tulipkit weren’t alive long enough to fully develop themselves, personality-wise. but they were still very important to both their siblings. elderkit is the lazier brother, while tulipkit is the sweetest boy, who just adores hearing stories of all sorts. and when taken to starclan, they both wanted to wait until their mother was with them until they could reincarnate.
