So yesterday I was in a bookstore looking through the new pjo covers, and I have only one question-

Whose the second person?

The person with dark hair I’m assuming is Percy, but the second person doesn’t match any of the characters who could be there.

Annabeth has longer hair. Grover has dark hair and should be wearing a dress. Clarrise could match but both her and Tyson are canonically bigger than Percy in SOM and that person is either shorter or about the same height as Percy, and is clearly WAY skinnier than either of them should be.

I would assume it’s show!Percy, but on TLT cover he has dark hair.

So you know how in Percy Jackson, Amazon the company, is actually the Amazons, the group of warrior women.

That means Jeff Bezos isn't real in Percy Jackson and is just a fake person the Amazons made up to be their CEO.

So now I have this image in my head of a bunch of Amazons huddled around a table trying to come up with the concept of Jeff Bezos.

"Make him bald!"

"Ooh! And make him evil, as all men are!"

"What evil things does he do?"

"Oh um..."

"Uhh..."

*Voice from the back * "He doesn't let his workers use the bathroom?"

"Oh that's awful."

"No, another ancient power has already made a false figurehead for a company with the name Steve. They may accuse us of copying them."

Of course, cabin 12 had been able to find themselves booze. Of course, they were throwing a party with kids from almost every cabin. And of course, some of the kids asked her to be a glorified maid for the party, knowing she likely wouldn't protest.

Glykera looked absolutely shaken. She didn't even look fully here. One of the drunken campers had tried flirting with her and was standing a bit too close to her. So far, they were only talking to her. But that didn't change the terror she felt.

This place was far too similar to where she used to live. The party was just like the ones her master would throw. And those guests... those guests were pigs. She couldn't tell if this was the Dionysos cabin or if it was her old home. If these were campers or those old guests.

Reasons I would never be in a fantasy novel:

I have two parents, both of them very much alive, and I look exactly like them.

Prophecies--girl, HOW am I supposed to hear a very important something or other ONE TIME and then remember if exactly in italics

Actually short term memory and slow sound processing in general definitely wouldn't help me out

Dreams--I fear I'm only capable of the 'mildly inconvenient nonsense' type of dream and not the 'evil one spelling out certain doom to me while I sleep' variety

I have the reflexes of an aged sea turtle

I have no friends

People would probably peg me as the smart one (I get good grades, have nerdy hobbies, and like spouting randon facts), but in fact I suck at riddles as well as at thinking under pressure, thinking outside the box, and recalling information that's actually important to a situation at any convenient time, so that wouldn't go well

You, for whatever reason, were on the search team trying to find Kiara, along with Amaia and some other Hunters of Artemis. There had finally been a solid lead as to where exactly she was being kept.

And so you found her finally, in one of the few moments where there wasn't someone— something near her. She was barely recognizable from when you last saw her. She was injured and bruised all over, and that look in her eyes... the fear. She didn't often have an expression like that.

Been thinking of them in a PJO setting and what their godly parent would be

Ranpo’s is Athena for obvious reasons, I think she suits him very well whilst also being a complete personality contrast.

Poe’s is Apollo for a multitude of reasons: the arts, the golden glow of his ability and also Plagues. I’d give him a means to infect one w a disease maybbbeee like the Red Death.

I believe that Camp Half Blood has to have some sort of nightlife. It's a camp full of teenagers, who all have issues with authority, and some of those teenagers are the children of the god of alcohol, chaos, and revelry.

Plus these teens don't think they're ever going to reach adulthood. Like before Heroes of Olympus a demigod reaching the age of 18 was seen as a pipe dream. So reaching the age where they could legally drink, get piercings, or tattoos was seen as something unattainable. And a college party life was something one could only hope for.

Do I think that the Camp Half-Blood teens are throwing intense raves every night? No. Do I think some of the older campers sneak off, maybe throw up some mist, and have a couple beers? Yes.

All I know is that some older camper is going home with hazy memories of a drunken night, a poorly healed homemade piercing, and a stick and poke that's going to fade in a year.

thinking about how when percy and annabeth die (because they’re dying together and at the same time, argue with the wall) and they’ve immediately got like 4 different pantheons wanting their souls

like, sadie would most likely go talk to walt, the host of anubis, and be like “hey. get my guy percy a good afterlife trip. no exceptions.”

but then because annabeth is related to magnus and magnus is an einherjar he’d probably go talk to samirah and be like “please get my cousin into valhalla”

but then you’ve also got the greek afterlife and hades arguing that their home pantheon is the greek one and therefore they should go to elysium

so basically the pantheons have a shared custody over percy and annabeth which would be so funny. like “NO ITS MY TURN WITH THEM FUCK OFF ANUBIS” “NO YOU HAD YOUR TURN HADES”
