You see, Glykera just sitting on one of the benches, staring off. She looked sad, almost? That might not even be the right word.

She had outlived two of her masters and would surely outlive her friends. Would she even go to the same afterlife? Would she have an afterlife?

It wasn't a smart move to get to attached to mortals with such short life spans. She couldn't help it. They could be so nice when she wasn't being mistreated. She would just have to come to terms with the fact that she would have to grieve every last one of them.

Mache walked up and gently sat down next to her on the bench. She could tell something was off, and she just wanted to help. “Glykera? Are you feeling alright?”

She nodded. "You are friends with Lord Odysseus, right? I do believe I have met his son... A few versions of his son, actually..."
