Harbringer had been in their human form all day, along with the others, so Damien was showing them around Camp (they usually stayed in his cabin, anyway).

And eating was always a strange experience. In all her thousands of years, she had never actually gotten to do it. She never knew what it was like to taste things.

There were a lot of questions and more moments of her questioning her humanity. Sure, she was conscious. Sort of? But she was much more like these robots.

"The poor woman!" Notice how similar Glykera can be to Siri. Obviously, character development, so she doesn't have to follow all those orders, but it's really uncanny.
