Happy Face Equality Week :-D
Tumblr media
(short ID in alt text, longer below)
I really wanted to draw some happy people with facial differences for this week so:)
if you tag this as "tw scars" or some other "body horror" I'm killing u btw:D!!!
[Image description: digital drawing of 7 character with facial differences against a patterned background. The left side shows a gay couple sitting and hugging; one from them has a large bump on his forehead and widespread eyes, while the other has paralysis on one side of his face. In the middle is a teen girl cuddling with a cat, both of which are missing their left eye. Below her is a nonbinary person smoking a cigarette with heart-shaped smoke surrounding them; they have facial atrophy on one side of their face. The right side is split into three small panels; top one shows a Black girl with a cystic hygroma on her jaw on a pastel pink background, middle shows an Indian man with Crouzon syndrome from the side smiling, bottom is a zoom on the side of the head of a person with microtia; they're wearing a bone-anchored hearing aid and have a buzz cut with stars patterned in it. At the bottom, "Happy Face Equality Week" is written. End image description.]

Oneshot: "A Lazy Day"
Saghani turned around in the sheets when she felt a weight next to her shifting. After a few loose and futile attempts at grasping the perceived weight she knew deep down, she finally opened her eyes. At first, only one, grumbling at the brightness of the lights above her head. Then, ever so gradually, she opened both eyes; and promptly realised that her husband wasn't lying next to her anymore. Immediately, she became more awake and aware of her surroundings, and just then caught the male Auri dressing himself not far from her. He had just put on his pants and socks, and was fidgeting with his belt.
"Where are you going?" Saghani mumbled, drunk on sleep, still.
"Where do you think I'm going, sweetheart?" Shiro replied, a small smile playing on his lips. Finally, he finished setting his belt, and went to grab his boots before returning to his side of the bed to sit down.
Saghani took the chance and crawled forward, wrapping her arms around his middle loosely as if clinging to him. "Stop getting ready for work."
The warrior stopped for a second and turned halfway to his love. He smiled down at her, one hand extending to ruffle through her bed-shaken hair. "You're so cute when you're sleepy. But the empire and a certain CEO don't stay safe without their personal bodyguard taking care of things."
A small grin formed on Saghani's lips at that. She finally shifted and moved forward, positioning herself next to Shiro. Then, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down to meet her lips with his. After a few seconds of a passionate lips dance, she eventually pulled back and leaned her forehead against his. "You forgot what day we have, didn't you?"

Note
Have you drawn Vittorio before? I'd like to see what he looks like pls.
Tumblr media
Vittorio's design has given me more trouble than I expected, I'm still not sure if I'm happy with his looks. He's Machete's trusted personal secretary, a small and modest but resourceful and resilient man. I think he's somewhere in his mid 20's.

#personal#delete later#for context a tweet i made in the middle of the night blew the fuck up and brought the attention of anime fans who've been#harassing and hassling me about my big factual blunder for an entire day straight#“ok i'll apologize” “bro it's not that serious.”#“you're right it's not that serious“ ”why won't you just admit that you're wrong and apologize!“#i'm not going crazy right. i feel like i'm getting manipulated into thinking i must've been wrong#it's crazy how twitter hate will trick you into believing saying something someone else disagrees with is a moral failing#sorry i haven't seen frieren i guess but what's it to you. i wasn't making a claim or statement#also because nobody has gotten this in the original post i wasn't talking about the quality of animation i'm talking about solid drawing#which is a very specific principle of animation. dandandan has really good solid drawing wherein all the characters are animated#with realistic and proportional 3d depth. newsflash but trigger doesn't prioritize solid drawing in their animation and that's fine#it's an aesthetic choice and has ties to production limits. none of this is a big deal. this is all so stupid lol#i've dealt with worse and more annoying weebs though it's fine i'll put on my clown nose twitter needs their stupid guy for the day#oh btw at the end of the day this doesn't matter. it'll be over by tomorrow. all that's happening is petty angry emotions.#so please don't involve yourself by jumping into the argument and prolonging this shit#i'm about to go on a date with tulli after being apart for a month this is the furtherest thing from my mind rn

Vewis is ready for winter walks in his native lands ~ ❄️
He is quite small but his paws are mighty! (his gentle ears need a hood though)
I used my already finished Kotie model, just tried to give it Vewis' features. I feel less brave to make specific characters on my detailed models, as I'm always afraid of messing up their features, but this one has the right feeling at least. I like the sad and gentle look (and this lovely slight smile!), it feels so Vewis-like.
I am not completely satisfied with the structure of the fur, but I like the overall "northern shape" that I managed to achieve. Vewis is a northern Kotie, he is quite specifically shaped and has dense fur in winter. He also has quite a big nose!
Tumblr media
I love his expression c:
Made in Blender; mountains made in World Machine.
(Vewis is a Kotie, fantasy feline character from my personal world/story. My art and characters are not supposed to represent anything or anyone else and are not allowed to be used in any way)

Oneshot: "The "Fall" Of Event Horizon"
“What do you mean, I never have time for you?” Saghani’s voice echoed through her own office in the headquarters of Event Horizon. She was standing in front of Shiro, staring at him with confusion mirrored in her eyes. “Seriously? You know what you were getting into when we first started this. You knew I have other obligations besides you, and that I can’t be there constantly, when you got into this.”
Despite her best efforts to explain the situation and remind her husband that none of this was anything personal, and that, despite his beliefs, she still cared for him deeply, he shook his head and crossed his arms before his chest. “Then why is it that everyone else gets your time except me? That when I ask for it, and we make plans, they suddenly get cancelled because you’re not feeling well, but at the next minute you’re happily planning the next project with Kairos?”
Jaws clenching and eyes rolling in pure annoyance, Saghani sighed loudly. “So, whatever I do, it’s wrong,” she concluded, eventually tossing her arms up in the air as she turned away from the male Au Ra. “Since our last talk, I have tried everything. And I mean, everything. I asked you what you wanted, I gave it to you. I spent time with you, I made sure I was there for you emotionally, I even postponed planned meetings with other people in favour of spending time with you. But no matter what I do, it’s not just enough. I’m not exactly sure how I can suddenly make everything up to you in just one week, but even without doing that specifically, I was doing so much!” She felt misunderstood. She felt like her past was just repeating itself, and no matter what she did, she couldn’t do anything against it.
“I’ve been thinking. About you, me, all of this. And I came to the realisation that eventually, when I didn’t get what I needed from this relationship, I… began focusing on you instead. Tried my best to make you happy, and clearly failed at that.” Her voice had lowered considerably in terms of volume and strength, leaving nothing but a defeated whisper as she stared at the ground. It seemed that the initial anger had now dissipated into nothing but thin air, and that she had given up truly fighting for what she loved. It felt like the end. And she was too tired, too exhausted, and too scared to really do anything against it anymore.
After a few seconds of pause, Shiro’s expression changed. It went from the accusatory glare to an almost even shocked gasp as he watched his wife confess to him.
