I've had several curiosities crop up while drawing your epic birdcatpeople~

1: Is it just the Hills/Plains variant that kicks?

2: How do they take care of their feathers without beaks?

3: Do they have different mating/breeding habits from humans, or are they largely the same? Do any of them do more bird or animal type mating rituals? (Like the eagle death spiral) Do they kiss their loved ones? Is it something that's up to the individual/family/culture?

4: How do they sleep? :o

Apologies if any of this has been asked and I've missed it. And also for so many questions. ^^; I'm just very curious! Bird people are one of the things in life that make me go YES. ALL THE YES. So my intrigue is piqued! :>

Hello! 1: both can kick but the Plain variant makes a lot more damage in terms of impact while hills haelumians can actually tear flesh apart 😬

2. Haelumians are obsessed with grooming their feathers! They spend a lot of time combing them, washing them and sometimes they take sand baths too :) Grooming eachother's wings is an act of love! 3. I'm gonna make some examples of sleeping positions using my nap king: Gheritan

How long does it take you to finish a drawing? I was wondering because I bet you work on multiple projects at a time.

Depends by how complex the drawing is but I would say usually 1-2 days :)

hey i've been seeing a lot of your art recently and other than loving it, I wanted to know what drawing program do you use and what kind of brush in that program?? I absolutely love how the lines look solid from a distance but up close they look almost chalky.

Where does the name Cerva comes from? Is it just doe in Italian or does it come from something else?

Yeah that's just that lmao

There's also the thing that it sounds like "Serva" which is like "to serve" in italian because she's supposed to be in her clan just to serve Mythal or whatever. It's a very early concept that didn't really land as I wanted.
