I needed a new bag, so I decided to crochet one myself <3 Behold, Perry the Platypurse with a detachable hat on a keychain for all the memeing purposes ✨

I used this plush pattern by Krawka as the base and only changed the body and sizing a little bit to make it work as a bag instead! It's a wonderful pattern to work with!

One of the most underrated aspect of perryshmirtz is the way heinz, whose parents are abusive and whose ancestors are "evil" with some having hints of also being abusive, is strayed away from real evil by not only the unconditional love he has for his daughter but also because he was believed by a platypus he once put up a pedestal who is raised with love, affection, and trusted with independence by his family (the entire flynn-fletchers).

Guy(?) raised in an abusive household (from possible generations of abuse) being able to break the cycle because this platypus raised in love who hands his ass to him everyday believed that he's capable of so much more than being the nuisance and curse to everyone around him that his parents made him believed he is?? I cannot NOT love them!
