everytime i watch this movie, i think about never being able to rewatch this for the first time. i’ll never wonder why they panned the camera to neil in this moment. i’ll never wonder again why he looks up like he’s been caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to. it’s going back and rewatching this movie, and knowing he’s going to die by his own hands. knowing he looked up like that because he thinks about death all the time.
