從「慢性自我懷疑」和「冒名頂替綜合症」到「優柔寡斷和自卑」——
from chronic self-doubt and imposter syndrome to indecisiveness and low self-esteem.
您不信任自己的 7 個心理原因(1)
7 Psychological Reasons You Don’t Trust Yourself
使您難以相信自己的不是過去的事件,而是您現在的習慣。
It’s not events from your past that make it hard to trust yourself — it’s your habits in the present.
1. 懷念過去——热衷反省过去
Dwelling on the past——bad habit of ruminating on the past
它沒有生產力。不健康的反芻不斷進行,實際上並沒有帶來任何好處。
It’s not productive.Unhealthy rumination keeps going and going without actually resulting in any benefit.
這是強迫性的。不同于健康的反思(深思熟慮和有意而为的)
It’s compulsive.different than healthy reflection(deliberate and intentional)
長期反思過去的錯誤和失敗也會讓你的大腦相信你不值得信任。

Grateful, Thankful & Blessed 🤍
At times it can feel like life isn't perfect and neither am I. Even knowing and experiencing that, I am grateful. I am grateful when I did not get what I want because life was protecting me. I am grateful when life stepped in and gave me a life greater than I ever imagined for myself. I am grateful that everything that seemed to be going wrong was really steering me in the right direction. I am grateful for all the sadness, struggle and pain because life provided a contrast to truly appreciate all the beautiful moments, the highest of highs. I am grateful for the hardships I have faced because I have gained strength and wisdom that I never would have otherwise. I am grateful to still be here because traversing rocky roads have led me to conquer mountains I never thought I could. Ultimately I have come to understand through the imperfection, that really, life is perfect and who I am right now is exactly who I am meant to be.

[👫🏼] Reasons why you may be struggling in relationships as a perfectionist 1. Critical of partner - Perfectionists are often highly critical of themselves. When in a relationship, they can expand this thought process to their partner. It may be difficult for them to fully accept their partner as who they are without trying to change or control them. 2. Fear of intimacy - Being vulnerable can be hard as they fear the partner seeing them as less than a "perfect partner". Being vulnerable means showing flaws or weaknesses. To the perfectionist, this may result in rejection. 3. Reactivity - It can be hard for perfectionists to take feedback or have their opinions challenged which can leave their partner left feeling unheard or silenced. ♥️If you're having relationship issues due to your imposter syndrome and want to chat, send me a DM • • • • • • #impostersyndrome #relationshipadviceforwomen #perfectionist #perfectionismrecovery #toxicrelationships #relationshipissues #gethelp #confidenceisbeautiful #peoplepleasingproblems #blogtoronto #blogto #ontariotravel #bookreviewsofinstagram #moviereviews (at Kitchener, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/Clj47A2Puw6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

ARE YOU A PERFECTIONIST LIKE ME? 🙌🏻 Great. Listen, this mindset is actually holding us back, so every day I am taking small steps to get over it. Earlier this morning I saw an encouraging quote that said, “Trace that art if you want, you don’t need to be perfect at it to enjoy what you are doing.” so I ended up tracing one of my favorite characters during one of my study breaks. Result? I felt refreshed, enjoying the PROCESS and just having fun! Drawing itself is not the challenge for me, though. Challenge is to look at it with it’s imperfections and still share it! I’ve never been someone who cares about what other people think of me to a strong extend, so me sharing an “imperfect art” would be unpleasant to my own eyes rather than others (no one is obligated to follow me, after all). That’s exactly what I’m trying to overcome right now: The need for things to be perfect. I should remind this to myself: I am enough even when I’m not “enough”. So, anyway! I don’t make many instagram posts but since I’d like to memorize this rather cute attempt, here it is on my profile! P.S. I actually like how he turned out. He’s cute, I’m hanging this on my wall! #anime #manga #drawing #art #mentalhealth #perfectionism #perfectionismrecovery #mindset #tracing #bananafish #shorterwong #shorterwongdeservedbetter2020 #shorterwongdeservedbetter #shorterwongedit #paperart #motivation #selfcare https://www.instagram.com/p/CEX7nzXgs7-/?igshid=r23ql5ghp1z2

Are you a mom who struggles with perfectionism and the “need to please?” In this week’s #Winning Wednesday video (link in bio) I share with you my former struggles and experiences with #perfectionism and “people-pleasing." There is nothing wrong with wanting to look presentable and “put your best foot forward," but when it begins to rob us of our peace, joy, sanity, and ability to move forward, then SOMETHING IS WRONG. Let this video serve as a reminder that: - It’s all about the experience, not the appearance! - It's great to be presentable, but more importantly, be PRESENT! - Perfectionism steals our peace, our joy, our humility, our authenticity, and ironically, our confidence and esteem through comparison ! - No one is going to remember/care how you or your family look, because they’re not looking at you for real anyway! #ijs - Perfectionism becomes its own “imperfection.”-Madaha *****QUESTION: When was the moment that you decided to release yourself from the bondage of perfectionism and people-pleasing? Let's discuss in the comments!!!****** Tag another #amazingmom in the comments to help get this conversation started! . . . . . . . . . . . #theamazingmomtv #amazingmom #largefamilies #largefamiliesrock #christianinspiration #momsofinstagram #momshelpingmoms #momproblems #momhelp #momswithcameras #perfectionismsucks #perfectionismadness #perfectionismrecovery #bruisedheelsociety #wildwomanrising #womanevolve #womanevolvetv #kidswithlocs #kidswithlocsrock #locliving #loclivin #locsanddreads #locfamily #locfamily✌🏾️😎💙 https://www.instagram.com/p/B4mdwt-hcxU/?igshid=22snl1ch7jwe

If you find weekends hard, you’re not alone. However I want you to know it doesn’t have to be this way. It won’t always be this way if you recover. I used to dread weekends or days off. This is because they either involve “rest”, socializing and therefore often eating, being around people and it made the ED demands often at times unbearable. Often for a time in recovery this can get worse, whilst you’re challenging behaviors and re-wiring & resting more. The ED can get louder. No lie I used to started dreading the next weekend on Monday. But I wanted to share this because this weekend, I’ve had such a great weekend with friends, a lot of it involved sitting and eating. Something I never imagined would be achievable for me. It was so nice not having to plan everything, obsess or worry. Weekends can be free. If you’re not there yet I hear you. But hold on to the hope you will. #eatingdisorderrecovery #eatingdisorderecovery #edrecoverycommunity #edrecoverywarrior #anorexiafighter #anorexianervosarecovery #anorexiafight #compulsivemovement #hypothalmicamenorrhea #hypothalamicamenorrhearecovery #bulimiarecovery #atypicalanorexia #atypicalanorexiarecovery #perfectionismrecovery #orthorexiarecovery #okaytonotbeokay #mentalhealth https://www.instagram.com/p/CSSWtDiBxty/?utm_medium=tumblr

Fresh figs baked at 350 degrees for 40 minutes with honey and fresh mozzarella. Oh my goodness so yum. I had never baked figs before but I’m glad I did. Sometimes I have a sore throat due to acid reflex so I’m always looking for foods that coat and soothe my throat. Figs in honey are perfect. I don’t cook as much as I used to but whenever I do I am reminded how much I enjoy it. I plan to make Some yummy banana recipes this week with a bunch of over ripe bananas. It’s nice to be able to focus on something that isn’t about work or performance – not everything should be about productivity. #figs #bakedfigs #recipes #easyrecipes #mindfulness #mindfuleating #edrecovery #edwarrior #anxietyrecovery #mentalhealthrecovery #mentalhealthwarrior #bpdrecovery #bpdwarrior #alifeworthliving #hopeisreal #focusonthegood #morethanproductivity #spoonielife #spoonie #acidrefluxsucks #acidreflux #mindfulliving #perfectionismrecovery #perfectionismnomore #perfectionismisoverrated https://www.instagram.com/p/BnlpwznhEy4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ijpadxve7uxn

“Perfectionism is a 20-ton shield. It’s a way of thinking that says: ‘If I look perfect, live perfect, work perfect, I can avoid or minimize criticism and blame.’” — Brene Brown Perfectionists are pretty risk averse. I will do everything in my power to avoid getting in trouble or making a mistake. So when I DO make a mistake, it can be earth shattering for me. I was recently corrected for something at work and I thought I should have said, “Yes, no problem. Won’t happen again,” but instead, I sobbed for most of the evening. My monkey mind went from one cognitive distortion to another: “I’m a bad person,” (All-Or-Nothing thinking) “I’m bad at my job,”(overgeneralization) I can’t do anything right,” (Discounting the Positives) “Everyone thinks I suck at my job,” (Mindreading). Not only was I engaging in some pretty harsh self-talk, but I also “shoulded” all over myself: “I should be able to handle a little feedback,” “I shouldn’t be this upset.” All of this made me feel even worse for feeling so bad. 💩. Who thinks that’s helpful?🤦‍♀️ It took a lot of tears, a hard weightlifting workout, and a lot of self-talk to get over this incident. And you know what I learned? 1). I still have a lot of shame to work on. 2). I need to make more mistakes!! If I was given feedback more regularly, I’d learn to handle it! 3). Life is suffering. Only once I accept that can I reduce the pain.
