Screaming coming from the window outside. It’s normal, like an everyday thing but while I no longer sleep at what would be considered normal it’s not welcomed by me. It’s the crazy thing about living down here, you never know if the screams are from a homeless person,sorry unhoused. Or if it’s coming from again, what people would consider a normal person. It’s very diverse, down here and sometimes the people you least expect who are causing the ruckus around the neighborhood. 

It’s finally a sunny day after a week long of rain and fog. Thing I have realized in the past 2 weeks, is that I am greatly affected emotionally by the weather (which is why I think I need to leave at all times), and also that I have no idea who I am. I wonder if the two are correlated. I wonder if I should stop smoking weed because my Mother would tell me it’s the drugs talking. 

I guess I was hoping that if I gave myself the time to slow down and actually breathe it would calm me down enough that I would see this is all a big misunderstanding and I am completely insane so therefore in other people’s eyes I am “normal”. Which, now thinking about it makes me wonder if that is what this is all about. Me and my adventure to try to be perceived as “normal”.

As I type into this laptop and I wonder how or why I am even feeling the need to journal my thoughts, I wanted to type I was excited, but that’s not the emotion. I am so numb that I do smile but only because I wonder what will be coming from my fingertips in the next little bit as I navigate this.  2 Things we need to clear up. 1. I do type what I think and I don’t look back. AKA you’re going to see mistyped words and grammar and I DON”T CARE. 2. I can promise you this will be real, and is real. I am real.

Toronto trying to ban gas-burning Uber and Lyft cars by 2031 A new City report proposes that all Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, and other "vehicles-for-hire" in Toronto should be zero-emissions by 2031. The report is set to be considered by City Hall on Sept. 21, and recommends that all vehicles-for-fire must be zero-emission vehicles by Jan. 1, 2031, with some outlined exceptions, including stretch limousines and accessible vehicles. The proposal also permits plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to operate as vehicles-for-hire for an additional two years until Dec. 31, 2032. "The proposed approach was developed in response to feedback from industry and public stakeholders as well as consideration of the equity impacts of the net zero by 2030 requirement, as a substantial proportion of the vehicle-for-hire industry consists of lower-income individuals and equity-seeking groups," the report reads. To support the goal, staff are seeking City Council approval to reduce licensing fees temporarily via grants for taxicab and limousine owners of zero-emission vehicles and to private transportation companies for trips taken in a zero-emission vehicle. Toronto is just the latest North American city to propose the zero-emissions initiative.In August, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced newly proposed rules for "Green Rides," which requires the transition of the city's rideshare fleet to either zero-emission vehicles or wheelchair-accessible vehicles by 2030. Uber's own sustainability strategy commits to becoming a zero-emission mobility platform by 2030 in Canada, Europe, and the U.S., and globally by 2040.  https://www.blogto.com/city/2023/09/toronto-ban-gas-burning-uber-lyft-cars-2031/

This is going to be my honest review of this film, this will be after one viewing though, my review of this film isn’t going to be me speaking for everyone in the world and I want you to keep that in mind though.

This film, as an amazing cast of course some actors from , the previous film or even an earlier one , as well as some new actors that weren’t in the films before. Like other films that I have done reviews of, there will be spoiler warning for a couple parts in the film.

In the main cast for this film,there is Keanu Reeves,Lance Reddick, Ian McShane,Hiroyuki Sanada,Laurence Fishbone, Shamier Anderson, Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgard.

The film starts out with John whick being asked if he’s ready, which cuts to him shooting people in a desert area in morocco, he shoots them while ridding a horse&he kills the elder. In response to that the Marquis Vincent de Gramont,a member of the high table summons New York continental hotel manager Winston and his concierge Charon. It is explained that the high table , has given him unlimited resources to find and kill john whick.

*Spoiler warning *

He scolded Winston for his failure to assassinate John, as a punishment he strips Winston of his duties as manger, he declares him “excommunicado” and destroys the continental and executes Charon. After that he goes Paris to enlist Caine, a blind, retired high table assassin, to kill his old friend John.

John does take refuge at the Osaka continental, which is run by his friend Shimazu Koji, De Gramonts lieutenant Chidi backed by the high table assassins and Caine arrived to investigate the hotel. The daughter of Shimazu Akira, the hotels concierge evacuates the hotel, Mr. Nobody aids John in his escape, after determining that the bounty for killing John to be not enough and Caine allows a wounded Akira to escape after killing her father.

This is how the film ends without saying everything that happens, they are duelling the third round comes to end , when caine severely wounds John,demanding the right to administer the couple grace, de gramont eagerly swaps place with Caine. Foolishly he didn’t realize , that John had never fired his third bullet, he ends up shooting and killing as he was at a close range.

After John collapses on the stairs after asking Winston to take him home,he reflects on his life and marriage before succumbing to his injuries. In the next scene, you see Winston & the Bowery king bid farewell to John at his tombstone which is located next to his late wife Helen’s.

Would a suggest this film to others, of course because it is the right time for it to be out , as well as that the film is actually great and running time is a great length.

Finally introducing Marion (Sherwood Park) after months and months of teasing! She represents a bedroom community east of Edmonton that "technically" is one of the largest cities in Alberta... or would be, if it was actually a city.

Your first fun fact is that Marion was originally going to be named Campbelltown, but since there were too many Campbelltowns across Canada, Canada Post forced her to change it to avoid confusion. She's much much younger than most of the other munis being founded in 1953.

Like Mac, Marion represents a "hamlet" in a very large service area, which means she can reap the benefits of being both rural and urban at the same time while also benefiting from living in Ed's shadow too.

I think generally the relationship between her and Ed is "he's scary! one time, i actually had to go to his house and nearly died!!"

where Ed is like "I don't know what her deal is or why she freaks out whenever I'm around" (meanwhile Edith trying to explode her with her mind)

She's just masc enough that Mac doesn't feel intimidated by her and they're best buddies. Her other close friends are other satellite communities such as Stab St. Albert and Spruce, etc.

Refinery Row occasionally makes national meme news, I remember seeing some "THIS CITY IN CANADA LOOKS LIKE THE EYE OF SAURON" type clickbait on blogto or some such thing that I can't find now, and apart from not being a city, we immediately clocked the location from the photo. It just looks like that sometimes. Don't worry about it. :)
