Canadian Wildfires Fundraiser

2025 has so far proven to be the 2nd worst fire season on record for Canada, with over four million hectares having burned already. Tens of thousands have been forced to evacuate, mostly from already isolated indigenous communities. Some communities have also seen significant damages.

In an effort to help myself and a number of other creators have set up a fundraiser bundle on Itch. For just $10 US you get everything from queer romance stories to nature photography to strategy games.

We've got a little something for everyone with 100% of all revenue raised going on to charitable efforts via the Nii'kinaaganaa Foundation.

Falling in love with a city silenced by the snowstorm, Hamilton, Ontario

I moved to Ontario a month ago, just before we were hit by 2 snowstorms in a week, and coming from the Paris region I had never seen a city so completely buried by snow !

I walked downtown struggling not to fall, seeing almost no one around, but feeling a deep sense of both peace and excitement 🤍 this is a new aspect of my life

Butter continues to be a hot commodity in Guelph, Ont.

At least seven large-scale thefts have been reported over a 10-month period, including two hauls in just the last month.

On Oct. 12, at around 7:45 p.m., two men entered a store on Speedvale Avenue East.

“They placed a number of items in a cart – including three cases of butter with a value of $936 – and left out a receiving door,” the Guelph Police Service said in a news release.
