dark justiciar shadowheart is genuinely so interesting to me as like... a facet to her character. like it really hammers home how desperate she is for shar's love and affection (+ the validation and love from other worshipers of shar). like in a lot of ways I get that it seems shocking to others / some fans because it really does contradict some of the morals we see her express BUT imo that just speaks to the level of desperation she feels. her comments on how shar "must" love her for her to survive the shadowcursed lands, or the bit where she talks about shar nurturing her and loving her and sounds... almost more like shes trying to convince herself more than shes trying to convince you. theres a bit about other sharrans not thinking she had earned her name, and of course the mother superior not thinking she was ready / worthy of being a dark justiciar. like shes just so completely desperate to feel unconditionally and securely loved, and to earn the approval of others that shes entirely willing to injure herself in the process (as well as.... the people who actually love her, of course).

not to mention that mechanically, afaik, she can only end up there if shes encouraged to by the player. ie... she needs to know someone else approves.

My area has some awesome architecture. One time, I wanted to do a project on it, and my teacher said it was too complicated. I cried, like genuinely left that class, found a place to sit down, and just cried. The buildings were pretty, and I wanted to talk about them. I really do love the amount of thought put into those buildings. The people who made them are dead, but their art is still there. A bunch of dudes 100 years ago sat down and designed this theater. Then more came in and built it. And here I am, sitting there.

Architecture is so awesome in the way that it's interactive. It can survive longer than any human.

I'm going to sound a little schizo here but hear me out:

The anemo gnosis venti gave signora is fake, and we will be returning to mondstadt at some point in the story

My reason for saying this is in the scene where venti has the gnosis taken is around the gnosis there's this weird windy pattern that is almost identical to the animation around the holy lyre when he "fixes" it. Suspicious, no?

My second reason for this is signora has the only example of a gnosis actually being held physically instead of the weird floating thing they normally do.

There's some other small reasons (venti is SO sus)(I do not buy the weakest archon crap) but this is already getting long so I'll just move on to why I think we will return to mondstadt

There are a few mentions of the travellers story finishing where it began, but those aren't the point rn

The main thing I think is due to what I just said about the gnosis being fake, and mondstadts proximity to snezhnaya being a good location to either return there briefly before snezhnaya, or have something going on after then.

The thing that really massively hits the nail on the head for me tho is that mondstadts archon quests are actually referred to as the prologue, which strongly hints to me that we are not done with mondstadt. Especially since it's currently smallest on the map, I wouldn't rule out the idea of maybe a map expansion of some kind, and even more so considering how much suspicious lore there is around mondstat like omg with the hexenzirkel being related to imaginarium theater, old mondstadt, mare jivari, and venti likely being related to istaroth, weird shit with durin, I swear there's so much weird shit going on omg

Also (this part is getting insanely copium now) this might also explain why there's no second venti story quest so far

What if they're holding off because they have other information they want to release about him or about mondstadt or any of that? This is majorrr copium but think abt it fr

I have very good news for you :) You aren’t the only one with these theories, in fact there are countless others who share the same theories about venti- other than the part about signora holding the gnosis physically only for the anemo gnosis (which is some really interesting information that I will be rotating), i’ve heard everything multiple times

Venti (and mondstadt as a whole) is extremely suspicious and I’m glad to see so many others who hope the same. Surely hoyo is saving venti’s second story quest for later, where the information in it will have a bigger impact on the lore. (do not look at my username /j)

AUGHH CODE OF HERO….. Dinobot :( fun fact— the reason this episode looks so cinematic is because it is the only episode in the entire series to actually have proper storyboards made before animation started. Normally when they make an episode the animators just got the scripts/recorded lines and could animate the characters however they wanted (given the direction of the story ofc), but they actually did proper storyboards this time because they knew this was a very important episode, and they wanted to do it justice.

OTHER FUN FACT! I have a physical copy of said storyboards :3c the very first originals were auctioned away years ago, but someone on eBay somehow got a copy and made a physical version that they sold and I purchased :D it includes wonderful faces such as. These

5. “Here, lean on me. I can carry you.”

Leo leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he tries to catch his breath. The elder slider watches as Leon collapses against the wall, falling limp to his knees and holding his side.

Leo takes a step forward, concern etching his expression but Leon raises a hand to stop him.

Leon’s brows are furrowed with annoyance and childishly turns away from Leo. He winces painfully when he turns and holds onto his side tighter.

Leo learns from his mistake and doesn’t step forward. This time, he asks, “Did you get hurt?”

Leon pouts slightly and turns even more from Leo to lift his hand to assess the damage. Some light bleeding has spilled onto his palm but nothing too alarming. He sighs and presses his hand back onto his wound.

They had been running after Leon made it his mission to “get Future Me out of the spider’s lair”. A lot of tricks and traps were created by Leon to distract from his attempt at stealing Leo from the arena. Long story short, things didn’t go off exactly how he wanted. Big Mama wasn’t keen on allowing Leon to kidnap her prized champion. But Leon wasn’t going to leave the Nexus empty-handed.

So, knowing Leon wasn’t going to let it go easily, Leo “escaped” with the younger.

But Leo wasn’t expecting Big Mama to release the big guns and announce his escape to the entirety of the city with promise of a “grand prize” for his capture.

Seeing Leon’s wound, he’s already regretting giving into the younger’s stubbornness.

But he can’t stay regretful for long as he catches the sound of footsteps nearby. He didn’t expect them to catch up so soon…

“They’re getting close, can you stand?” Leo asks as he looks left and right.

Leon’s brows furrow deeper but he braces his free hand on the wall to attempt at standing. He winces again and falls to his knee. He curses under his breath and groans as he leans his head back on the wall.

Leo watches Leon with a raised brow, but keeping his attention to their surroundings.

And when Leon finally makes eye contact with the elder slider, he releases another groan.

“Stop!—looking at me. I get it. It was stupid. You always tell me not to come to the arena, that you’re okay being Big Mama’s champ. I shouldn’t have tried to ‘save’ you when you didn’t need saving.”

Leo nods in agreement but doesn’t stop Leon.

“I just hate that you keep going back there. You always come back to the lair all bruised and bloody. And then I have to patch you up. She barely gives you breaks to heal. And then you keep acting like it doesn’t hurt while you’re being our teacher. It’s like… it’s like seeing Dad trying so hard to do everything all over again.”

Leo doesn’t have anything to say to that.

But Leon continues even then, “Sometimes I think that I’d rather you stay at home and just watch TV all day and night. Ignore us and sit around in a pile of sadness like your own pity party. But then I remember Dad in his depressive episodes… and I don’t want that for you too. Then I get to thinking I don’t know what I want from you.”

Leon swallows nervously and suddenly hesitates with his words. His mouth opens and closes when he thinks he knows what to say, but doesn’t say it. Then he winces again when he takes a deep breath, checking his hand to see more blood has seeped out the wound.

In a small voice, he asks aloud, “Do I want you to act like Dad or our teacher?”

Leo notices the distant footsteps pick up their pace and it makes him wonder if they caught a trail they must have left behind. He doesn’t have time to talk this out with Leon, he knows this, but he can’t ignore it.

“I’m sorry,” Leo apologizes.

Leon rolls his eyes, “I don’t want an apology.”

“But you know I’ll be back in the arena the next time she calls. She’s my—,” Leo tries to explain but Leon cuts him off again.

“They’re coming,” Leo warns Leon but the younger is stubborn.

Leo looks down at the teen, knowing that this is a newfound immaturity that he hasn’t seen yet. Instead of forcing Leon, he kneels beside the teen and says, “Here, lean on me. I can carry you.”

Leon stares at the elder’s side, watching Leo’s open arm that awaits him. And after a few seconds, he complies by shifting to lean on Leo. “I don’t need your help,” he stubbornly says.

“I know. But I do,” Leo admits as he throws an arm over the younger’s shoulders and lets Leon lean on him as they rise to their feet together.

Without a second to react, Leo scoops the younger’s legs in a princess carry and turns on his heel in one swift motion. He immediately breaks into a sprint, running as fast as he can with Leon in his arms to create distance between them and their pursuers.

Leon yelps and instinctively abandons his wound to hold the elder’s head. “Wha—liar! You’re an old liar!”

“I know. But I care more about your health than the truth,” Leo admits again.

OH THERES A SECOND ONE HANG ON. LONG FREEKING POST INCOMING MY BAD. the title alone is giving "tommyinnit from a bunch of different places/ nowhere in particular" vibes <3 oughhhh... okay.... alright.... no yeah im fine....... to me this feels like around the time of the finale, when tommy was like addicted to invis pots. OKAY. i can see this in my head as like flashbacks of early smp/lmanberg era tommy running around the server, with match cuts to current tommy walking around, retracing his steps as if thatll make things how they were back then, but all he really sees is how scarred and empty the server is now. "im over the bridge/ a minute from home but i feel so far from it" LITERALLY to get to lmanberg from tommys house the path was a bridge, ending in that giant staircase.. a minute from home being the original walls and van in the distance, i feel so far from it being the crater... "the death of my dog" REST IN PEACE HENRY WE'LL NEVER FORGET YOU </3 "im angry again" i never used to be this angry... "the things that i lost here, the people i knew/ they got me surrounded for a mile or two" did noah kahan write this song about ctommy. he could only have done this on purpose. theres simply no other explanation. these songs are so good oml....
