MHA au where Midnight is Mustard's (the gas villain who faught tetsutesu and kendo at the training camp) mom who is a divorcee, Mustards custody given to his father, and Midnight dosent visit him or talk to him. Not because she dosent care about him, but because shes too caught up in hero work and teaching that she just dosent have the time to.

Mustards father, is awful. He's neglectful. dosent even look at Mustard, he remindes him too much of Midnight. so hes a deadbeat pretty much.

Mustard resents both of his parents because of these reasons. Alongside with the neglect he faces the Shinsou & Monoma treatment from his classmates. His quirk wasnt *made* for hero work. its inherentally a villainious quirk. He has no line of support, nobody to tell him it's okay and his quirk *can* be used for heroism. So when he hears about Hero Killer Stain, he clicks with his ideologies.

His own mother was a hero, but she couldn't even be there for her own son so *clearly* she wasnt a true hero. and that's why he joins the LOV.

i could go on but this is sounding like im trying to write a fanfic but im NOT and genuinely just trying to share my au because i swear because being a mustard fan is so hard and i need to come up with my own content
