nobody ever uses casual anachronistic/modern language except serapter and reddoons. the reason serapter does it is to communicate his friendliness to the audience: he's a close friend to ivory, the POV character, and an easy way to make sure viewers feel the same way about him as she does is to make him friendly in our terms, even if it doesn't make total sense for the time period.

the reason reddoons is speaking in modern slang despite being a guest character is because the sheer power of the phrase "yo is that clownpierce" could not be stopped and nothing so silly as historical inaccuracy could keep it out

ok im tired so im incoherent but man. yeah like what was he supposed to do. i mean even if he set a trap hes setting himself up to be a target (which he already KIND OF is by his own volition) but 1) whos to say that person triggers that trap or it works within the time left and 2) its still unclear if that means someone can retaliate back against him

ngl it was kinda fucked that pili was basically the only person doing the whole. planning to kill ppl thing. i mean tbf baghera did try but it was insane to try and get them both to do a kill so quick. and the only other red member online had been sausage. who was building the whole time. plus they had to get really good gear in a week bc everyone else was mega stacked on gear. so it was really stacked against him n the red team
