I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.

The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.

Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.

If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?

Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.

Advice from your local aro-spec for when your friends that you love very dearly (but platonically and/or familially) start dating each other:

1. As with all things, communication is key. Let your friends know what is and isn't ok, and ask them the same of you. Then honor it.

2. Just because they're dating doesn't mean you're less important to them. Sometimes they'll have to prioritize each other over you, but by the same token, sometimes they'll have to prioritize you over their partner. Just like any other relationship. Your needs matter too, and they know that.

3. YOUR FRIENDS LOVE YOU BACK. Maybe not in the same way or conceptualization (especially if they're alloro), but they DO love you. They want you in their lives, they want you happy and healthy and safe.

4. In this house, aspec or allo, we practice the rejection of relationship hierarchy. This includes your own self concept and your own relationships. Thus I reiterate:

YOU MATTER. YOUR OPINIONS MATTER. YOUR LOVE MATTERS. YOUR NEEDS MATTER.

If they are worthy of the love you bear (and I'm sure they are,) your friends will not abandon you just because they're dating. It can certainly feel like it, and changing dynamics are always hard for anyone.

But it matters. You matter. Your relationships with each of those friends matter. And as long as you talk about it. Let them know what you're feeling and listen to each other... You'll be fine. Because you love each other. And that's what love is, no matter the flavor.

im kinda bad at talking to people on the internet but i always want to comment on art and music i like by small creators 1) because its nice to know and 2) depending on the website (like youtube) maybe it might help a little with spreading it around. but im still kind of bad at it. so a lot of people get an "awesome!!" from me and lemme tell you - i mean everyone of those "awesome!!"'s. i mean it with all my heart. sometimes a thing is just awesome, so awesome it needs more than one exclamation mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of early concept stuff was expression/pose brainstorming - there’s the classic six Webkinz emotions (which, I learned have been largely pared down to just four after a point! Since they got rid of Dr. Quack’s role, there’s no more “sick” expression and most ‘Kinz’ tired and sad expressions are the same! >:0 What’s the point of having an easily editable puppet with the spaghetti code intact that you have to put an image there AnyWay and not make a slightly different expression!! H’f) as well as the main Sakura poses - so if I’m already making up expressions, why no go a little further! :D

One of the expressions I definitely needed up top was Mischievous - working with a cat, that’s the only logical conclusion really. I think it’s funny that she swerves the compliment only to pay it right back as well lol

The ticklish expression is one I’m still going back and forth on! I’m half tempted to have it be somewhere between happy and angry - maybe a mood gradient, starting out just positive and slowly moving into “Hey stop! >:0″ if it’s too many times in a row? It’s a thought haha

Similarly so, messing with her ears - bothering your pets is a very important element of socialization (lol)

As seen above, I’d reallyyy like to figure a way to have a dual-visual mood system - both the ‘Kinz body language/expression/emotion and a more exact stat bar. I’m still chewing on this idea a bit, no pun intended lol. That and click-and-drag with an actual image you can drag around your screen, hm and hm! Much to think about. Her face here turned out cute and funny haha, helped me push the expression more comedic

Much better :) Webkinz already has some well-known food dialogue, my favourite is probably “Mmm to the mmmax!” haha

Each low-mood would have their own emotion tied to it, but what about somewhere in the middle? I like the idea of the ‘Kinz getting bored if they’re left alone for too long! And little paw taps, showing off her embroidered paw pad haha ♪

Cahaya and Arum are the oldest dragons in my lair. They're in fact older than my lair. My own progen hitting 9 reminded me that they hit a decade:

Back in April 2015, when I'd just joined and was wanting to dip my toes into the coliseum, I wandered into the Lending Library thread to borrow a pair of level 25s to help me level up my own team.

A user called Ruinia (#234) happily let me take on Cahaya and Arum. After about a couple weeks I was ready to return them, but Ruinia didn't return until August when she was retiring from FR and looking to send off her dragons to adoptees, etc. She replied to my PM to keep them. They've been officially part of my clan ever since, and she doesn't appear to have logged in again after that week.

Ruinia's clan profile has comments up until 2019, some from 2015-2018 wishing her well wherever she is. 2018 was 7 years ago.

It's a bit daunting to think that they were with Ruinia's clan (led by her 1st gen imperial Solastiir) for about a year and a half, and have been with my clan for the nine years since.

They each have a piece of cute art that predates April 2015, and one of the artists (GwenniethePooh #377) appears to still be active on FR! It's just. It's been a long-ass time.

They're still major fixtures of my coli team, along with the team I levelled with them.

it's still odd to me that victor recognizes alt milla and talks about saving her in a way he implies he couldn't before

1) he doesn't seem to be referring to their post-exoflection interactions, yet she's a different fractured milla from the one he (might) have met, and "prime maxwell is stuck in the interdimensional abyss and can't come back" can't really happen in a fractured dimension: more of one entity can coexist there, so the pelune incident with the whole deal about the ritual of sacrifice shouldn't be replicated either

2) why would chronos be throwing all of the "new maxwells" into the interdimensional abyss through all almost one million dimensions to make the story happen

3) there's no mention of muzet and milla being present when victor kills everyone either. not in the game, not in the manga, and not in anywhere you can think of (granted they could've just gone back to the spirit world after the fractured reveal)

it's even more strange that he does not recognize ivar in the christmas event, even though he's still ludger so he should have: ivar's there by bisley's side when ludger is told he's framed as a person of interest, and he's there to give you the weapons that victor does show he has when you fight him, among other scenes like the fractured ivar that tells you about milla kresnik

everyone's debating which match will main event Bad Blood and i'm firmly in the camp it should be Drew and Punk. Cody, Roman and the Bloodline get to main event pretty much every other PLE and it's gotten beyond stale at this point so Drew and Punk would be a refreshing change, esp considering how it's been the hottest feud for the past several months. Ultimately I guess it shouldn't really matter and I'm sure Drew Vs. Punk will gather as much excitement and attention as the Bloodline thing. I know Cody and Roman teaming up is a big big deal but the Bloodline thing is a cycle I'm tired of so let Punk and Drew shine for once.
