#Doodles#Webkinz#Diamond#Ghostkinz#Ukadevlog#Half joking - I understand the basics of like - how to make clothes Appear on a Ghost - it's the layering(?) that I'm still unsure of#How does insert work >At this point I'm too afraid to ask#Lol no there's much more to discover! Clothes just aren't As important as the rest#But they are still important in bluesky lol - Webkinz /is/ a fashion game among other things!#It's another aspect that's actually really nice to be able to pull from - the fashion aesthetic is generally quite cute and cohesive!#Lines the same-but-darker colour as the body of the clothes with sometimes lots of detail and sometimes just a little#It's fun! Shopping at the Outlet and seeing what clothes combinations work on which pets is fun!#I do wish shirts at least (if not pants and shoes etc.) also showed up on the little preview pet in the corner buuuut#Having played with clothes just this Little Bit I can see why it wouldn't be the most fun thing to try to finagle around lol#I Would be half-tempted to only offer like hats and glasses and bracelets and the like but I am unfortunately Very Stubborn lol#I want to dress Diamond up really silly!! Layering a jacket over a shirt and then also a mask or something...there's gotta be a way.........#Can you tell I made those Ghost costume pieces around Halloween lol - t'was the season!#I think it'd be fun to have pet-specific clothes too... Oh have I mentioned that bit yet? Hehe#Or if not specific then like freebies or something ♪ For funsies#That is one thing that's very satisfying to the video game-hoarding part of my brain - Webkinz offers a lot of freebies#I don't see why I wouldn't follow in those footsteps! Freebies are funsies!

The BWCat and the Cocker Spaniel are /the/ faces of Webkinz!#They're on the tags! On the site! Show up in a lot of promotional material/in-game items/advertisements/etc! They had to be the first two!#And also it's just good practice for implementing a multi-pet system generally#It's all well and good if Diamond works Perfectly but if as soon as you add in a second element everything goes wrong what's the point#So he's here early in development ♪ Very important that they grow together! And also they're best friends you wouldn't separate them right#It's actually pretty fun to start to think about what I'd name the other OG8! Since I've only ever had Diamond she's so solidified to me#I'm biased towards the BWCat but the Cocker Spaniel is quite cute too! When I can actually draw him correctly lol#I haven't talked much about the pet adoption aspect yet - Diamond and Rocky are just the names I use but! The point is to pick your own!#I mean I still don't have names decided for the rest of them - Rocky just Happened and I've settled happily into it haha#I'd love to have a custom pronouns system too - I've seen it! I think it's really cool!!#One step at a time...#Still using the GShop label lol it's the WShop I promise the concept art went through a phase it's back to normal now lol#Another aspect of pet raising that I think is underutilized in Webkinz Classic is pet interaction!#You can Imagine whatever you want and pose them and stuff but pet conversation?? Come on!!#You can have your pets in the same room but they can't talk to each other?? No! Ghostkinz can talk to each other They Have To#Surprisingly the second pet wouldn't be on the Kero/secondary character ''layer'' hehe#And then a few other little interaction/flags for if multiple pets have been adopted :3c#What do your 'Kinz get up to when you're not around? They keep themselves and each other entertained haha#Having them ''running loose'' in your computer vs. their own rooms does make for a different environment haha#Send 'em home and to bed when you're done playing so they can't get up to so much trouble! No they still will lol

It's the kind of sitting pose I already like to draw! Standardized!! I am weak!!#That said ZEX is actually kind of hard to Webkinzify lol#VUX don't translate all that well to the Webkinz Classic style! At least not the earlier pet puppet style#I can't speak to the later pet styles - partially because I'm not as big a fan of them lol#The Wintermint Husky? Hon...#Anyway lol - I decided to try vectoring him and drew a lot of inspiration from the Frog bu mmmh#It /is/ a cute pet but hmnnghhhh..... Why does Frog have Fur lol#Although! There is actually precedent of a one-eyed green be-tentacled creature in Webkinz lore!#From the Dex Dangerous game - his little alien buddy :D I'm choosing to ignore the big ears and antenna lol - the rest is cute!!#So maybe therein lies the answer to my query lol#He would make for an adorable desktop buddy but that's a foregone conclusion - all VUX are cute ♥#Although - wouldn't it be funny to have a random chance to roll either ZEX or a random loyalist VUX lol#Gets offended that you would not only insinuate that they're ZEX but that you know ZEX at all - you must also be a deviant pervert! Haha ♪#Poor either of them being sick tho :'0 Still not going to remove that option like Webkinz did tho I happen to enjoy that element lol#The rest ended up being non-Ghostkinz-style UkaVUX ideas#Since I've removed the Kero/Sakura overlap function for Ghostkinz it got me wondering what it Would be like for those two in specific#ZEX only too happy to get close to his Sub-Commander hehe - especially at the behest of a human interest! Just want to be on their good side#Their arm expressions there are so very my favourite ahhh ZEX so languid and relaxed and DAX trying to squirm out and away but failing <3#Hugs! No! Yes! ♥ Hehe#And then also of DAX once again failing to redirect his Admiral - it is the way of things it's unavoidable it's just how it goes#I do have fun with those digitally-added textures at times... Maybe more often every now and then hmmm#Just when I feel like it#His head tendril expressions are always such fun ♪ And face-palming haha - face...arming? Lol

You don't understand I /need/ So Many Balloons..........#And also ''balloons'' haha - things that look like menus but aren't#I'm already up to uhhh one main talky balloon and a menu balloon and a special text balloon and an ''alert'' balloon that I don't like lol#Needs some modifying needs something more something specific to it#And then there's the submenus planned and the not-menus - haven't Reallyyy started anything for the Arcade yet so that's a question mark#What I'm saying it the Balloon is planned to be like - half the Ghost lol#The way balloons and the Ghost talk to each other is really cool!! The customization and utility of menu options Doing Things#It's so cool...#Anyway the point is - it's called the WShop and not the GShop that was a mistake on my part lol#I mean you use Kinzcash at the WShop but the W stands for Kinzcash?? Is it short for Webkinzcash???? I refuse#I will not call it the Ghostkinzcash Shop and have the player buy things with Ghostkinzcash that's dumb I'm keeping the W for Kinzcash#I mean it's for recognizability. That's why. Lol#Although I say that but I'm pulling most heavily from the veryyyy early WShop look! From when it was pink rather than blue#Which is doubly confusing because the Kinzstyle Outlet is also blue but like all the way including the awning - it's fine don't worry#Greyscale here makes that not a factor it's all good the important part is the shape#I do wish it'd format better in multiples of 4 or 8 but I guess 6 is okay... It's between the two I want but that's alright I guess#I really am instantly enamoured by collisions - I wondered for a while if Balloons could have collisions but even without them I have ideas#I may or may not have designed a few elements on the assumption that I could add a collision so I mean...But it'll be fine otherwise too lol#The Home and Curio Shop ''menus'' are definitely something I'm looking forward to - animations planned too :D#All hopefully adding up to a cohesive whole ♪

#Weekly TV Guide#Oh this one is Very much an asterisk kind of week lol - I have Not been editing#I got a little too caught up in this month's big project and was like ''It's fiiiiiine I have stuff prepped!'' - I did not lol#I forgot to put it on my calendar so it ceased to be! Oooppss!!!#It should be fine - with the amount of prepwork that went into the Big thing the tradeoff between one and the other should all balance out#And if it doesn't oh well! Lol#It's mostly light silliness this week#I have been unable to stop crossing things over with Helix for a bit now lol#I need to just go reread again at some point get my head wrapped up in its core#All these distractions! No excuses! Go love now! Lol#Unsurprisingly there's a bit more Ghostkinz on the horizon :) And finally showing off a bit of what's Done and not just Concept!#Although still some of that yes lol - mostly comparisons tho :D What made it and what hasn't gone quite to plan lol#You can see by the last one that I got some new tools as well :3c I'll talk more about them then I have many thoughts lol#Many ♪ The usual!#Constantly constantly

#Not how I'd usually go about it but I'm very curious and so#I actually have a more fleshed-out version of this on my Patreon every month lol but as 100% of the votes it leaves a question mark!#I've been considering new things as well - askblog type stuff so I guess not That new lol I've mentioned it before#But I don't want to overcommit to something only to leave it unfinished#The same problem as always! :P#So - slight peek into the backlog that I'd most like to see through#And curious of what - if any - have caught attention or intrigue#I know what I like but I'm not always the most certain of crowdpleasers lol#I know a couple ♪ But I wouldn't turn down a reaffirmation just to be sure!
