Tranquil study challenge day 17
15. What can you de-clutter physically or emotionally to find more ease and simplicity?
I think my life is pretty simple these days, in a good way. I'd like to be a little less anxious and a little more organized, but I always feel that way. I'd like to journal more.
16. What is your favorite book at the moment? Now, find a song to match this book and explain your choice.
I don't know, I haven't had much time to read any books lately. :(
17. What misconceptions do people have about your area of study?
There are a lot of misconceptions and conspiracies about physicians and medicine in general, especially with the anti-vaccine movement in the US and the politicization of the pandemic.
Today, I am grateful for a quiet afternoon and evening.
Today, I choose to give my parents a call and see how they are doing.
Today, my goals are:
40 uworld questions
200-300 anki cards
gym/run/stretch
laundry
submit practice CXR interpretations (2)
prep for small group practice question session next week
health equity quizzes (2)
draft final reflection for health equity class
start lit review for case study

On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?
*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)
*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)
(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )
(Reblog for bigger sample size if you can, and feel free to explain your answer in tags if there's anything extra to add!)

Had another one of "YOU HAVE TO DRAW NOW" moments
I actually did the scene above on my second try of the battle, lv 90 doesn't exactly make it easy to lose
Also I think it's time to show those sketches too
The Siffrin practice once more, but this time a bit earlier
Also first try on figuring Loop's full body ref too
Also this little thing, not as polished as digital would've been
Imagine my reaction when I accidentally gave Loop a flower after trying already and they accepted it. I adored that 'yeah we won't speak of this, but I accept your stupid flower' scene more than anything and it was pure text after little scene

Return date for my webcomic, Time and Time Again!
It's been set for a while but sometimes they change the date without warning, so I'll keep you updated if anything changes!
I'm extremely proud of the work I've been doing on it, I can't wait to share everything!
See you then!

Okay, for aro awareness week, I need you all to start recognizing that:
NOT EVERYONE IN THE ARO COMMUNITY IS FROM THE UNITED STATES OR EUROPE.
Please, when we're having discussions about aphobia, allonormativity amatonormativity, and other issues for the love of god STOP PRETENDING THAT WE DON'T EXIST AND LISTEN TO US!
We aren't just your token aros that exist in the other side of the world just for you to prove that we are everywhere or whatever point you're trying to make, we are living, breathing human beings and members of the aro community and we deserve respect and to be remembered not as a point in your discourse but as equals.
I am sick and tired of people just assuming that everyone in the community is either from the United States or Europe and only centering those voices in the discussion. We exist too.
