For anyone unsure of what is going on in the @pink-onyx-au right now here is a summary of the last episode

a beautiful connverse & pearlrose parallel from issue 24 of the official comics

i know i’ve posted the pearlrose moment before, but i love the other ships & their parallels.

there’s also a lovely moment with garnet’s memories of the place as well, and pearl giving flower crowns to garnet and amethyst after they make pearl one to cheer her up (she’s missing rose, of course)

so, this place means something to pearlrose, rupphire, connverse, and also pearlmethyst and pearlnet. this grove of flowers is the steven universe ship forest, essentially

Scene 3:

One thing I wanted to show in Inverted was the different experience Steven would have with the Crystal Gems. I wanted Inverted to be a character study above all.

One difference would be that Steven wouldn't be around the Gems as often, save for Amethyst. So he wouldn't be taken on missions.

He'd teach himself to use the warp pad and try to follow the Gems when they'd leave, and that's when he'd run into Lion!

I love Lion.

So I finally finished it. Mostly took so long because of free time issues but also procrastination. I pushed through it, it could be better but I'm proud of it. Any advice and/or criticism you have is welcome.

There is still some stuff I wanna do, but for now, these are ready. I have one more page but don't know when that will be ready.

Just for clarification, this is happening 2-3 weeks after "I am my monster" and well, somewhere between "The Calm" part 1 and 2

such a precious pearlrose flashback in this graphic novel, i live for pearl comforting rose. especially when rose is feeling hopeless & down on herself about not being able to protect someone. pearl + rose have that in common.
