I’ve been thinking about omegaverse WangXian AU and I’m so not normal about it
Basically, WWX was always known as a beta by people around him, constantly hiding his scent and on such heavy suppressors he’d practically never have a heat. When the Wens take all of the young cultivators/clan heirs or whatever he no longer has access to that kind of stuff and it’s only so long before the medication’s effect goes away.
In the big carnivorous turtle cave he can feel his omega-ness slowly come back so he’s desperate to get out away from all the young alphas and betas he’s surrounded by. Things go as cannon and only him and LWJ are left in the cave and LWJ??? Well he’s not doing too well, neither of them are with their fevers, being stuck in a cave alone and pheromones- oh yea LWJ is in rut too lol
So they do their do in the cave, escaping out and then WWX runs off after making the other man swear he’s not gonna tell anyone that WWX is an omega.
During the attack on Lotus Pier WQ pulls WWX aside asking if he knows about the kit in his womb. WWX, freaking out about it swears her to secrecy. He’s been… kinda aware about it over the month or two that’s past, but just used his high level of cultivation to just keep it in a dormant state.
When he gives JC his core such a thing isn’t an option. He doesn’t want his child to live during a time of war so he promises himself to end the war against the Wens before his birth.
He levels up his demotic cultivation at way faster of a pace, easily out numbering any bad Wen troops, cutting off the supply lines, anything to get an advantage. His tactics are often called brutal, disgusting but most of the Sunshot doesn’t care because whoever is doing it is on their side.
Keeps following cannon but now LWJ has just a totally weird feeling in his gut all the time. He swears he can feel WWX’s emotions, the stress, the fear, the agony all of it. When he finally lays eyes on who he knows is WWX as the man takes down WC and he can’t help but feel relief. Relief that after nine months (WWX froze his pregnancy for like two months so he’s about eight and half along) he’s finally able to see the man he’s fallen in love with, that he spent a rut with while the man was in heat.
WWX doesn’t acknowledge him.
He doesn’t even really acknowledge JC, his little shidi who’s so excited to see him again. WWX remains quiet, a large cloak wrapped over his whole body
Instead of properly interacting with his friends he instead asks when their plan to attack the nightless city is (he has less then two months, and by god he wants peace of mind that his child won’t be born in a war). He lets them take him to the war camp, discussing with the leaders like LXC and NMJ to move the battle forward, saying that he can balance out the sides.
They agree and that’s that.
At the final battle WWX holds up the tiger sigil, controlling more undead then he ever has. He watches as the rest of the tyrannical Wens get torn apart, their army in ruins before NMJ takes their leader’s head. Some of them still fight, and in a blaze of glory WWX destroys the tiger sigil, creating a bright light that takes out more of the Wen’s army, any of the roaming undead and himself.
LWJ feels his blood go cold. He can’t feel WWX suddenly. He canthecanthecant.
Where did his omega go?
Back in Yiling WWX falls to the ground, any last remains of his power, spiritual or demonic finally shredded into pieces. WQ helps him recuperate, Wen Yuan at his bed side as he looks up.
It’s then and there WWX smiles as he promises himself a normal life, patting A-Yuan’s head and scenting him like he’s his own kit.
Two years later.
LWJ feels lost, constantly wandering around for something, any sign of WWX. He’s looking at hair ribbons in a market outside of Yiling, a beautiful red ribbon with lotuses embroidered in it. He jolts as he feels a hold on his leg, looking down curiously.
“Baba?” The little kid asks, no more then two years old. A six year old huffs as he goes over, bowing his head in apology to LWJ.
“Sorry Mister, my brother gets confused.” Wei Yuan huffs, pulling his younger brother away. LWJ sucks a breath in as he looks at the young toddler, tan skin, enchanting yellow eyes, perfectly straight hair except with the tips granted a slight curl.
There’s no denying this is a Lan child, just from looks alone, but the scent surrounding both of the children? That’s something LWJ had smelt once, trapped in the cave in the throes of passion with his mate.
Wei Wuxian. Wei Ying is alive.
A young looking man pulls the children away before LWJ can say anything. The man picks up the two year old and gently holds him in his arms, the six year old grabbing onto the man’s leg, still glaring at the alpha.
“Sorry about that, sir.” A soft voice rumbles with a chuckle, freezing as he looks up at LWJ for the first time.

Alright, another idea for you! For the danmei club prompt ask thing:
NingXian, Burial Mounds settlement days, Wen Ning lovingly bullying WWX to take care of himself. Sad eyes/ puppy eyes are fair use, regardless of what wwx says.
Gimme bittersweet. Maybe alpha!Ning? Do sentient corpses still have scents?
Yes they do, cuz I say so. But I am limiting Wen Ning's alpha-ness to just scents, being able to mate/bond and using the bond to feel what his mate feels. No sex for poor dead guy oop. Zilia, this isnt just for Jaq, this is for you too because you're the first person in my orbit who started chanting "NingXian. NingXian. NingXian".
Instead of 500 words, have 4.1k (what a horrible number) words instead!
“Are you alright?” He couldn’t hide the concern in his tone. Wei Wuxian had just come out after his self-imposed heat confinement and he looked terrible. He was gorgeous as always of course, but the Burial Mounds were hard on the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation too. Although the way he looked now was way worse than he usually did which seemed impossible yet here they were.
“I am fine, all good, see?” He assured or tried to. The hoarseness of his voice gave away how long he had been screaming for an alpha who would never come. Wen Ning was seeing alright.
“Sit here, I’ll bring some broth. Heats are already hard on omegas and they get worse if you intentionally starve yourself.” He pushed him to sit on a fallen log and Wei Wuxian startled, a guilty expression contorting his face. Wen Ning had a good idea of the self-sacrificial bullshit going on in the omega’s head that made him so reckless with himself.
When he handed the bowl to him, Wei Wuxian immediately began employing his puppy eyes. Now, Wen Ning wasn’t a strong man, wasn’t one even in life and as an alpha, he really couldn’t remain unaffected by an omega he cared for but this was ridiculous. “Eat,” he said and the omega pouted harder.
“This is too much A-Ning! We could give half of it to A-Yuan, or Popo or-“
“Eat,” he simply said but then decided he much rather keep vigil unless Wei Wuxian tried sneaking away to give his food over. “Want me to feed you?” He asked and Wei Wuxian grinned and nodded.
The smile left his face when Wen Ning took the bowl from him and his cheeks darkened to a rare rosy hue that would have Wen Ning swooning if he wasn’t busy trying to coddle him. He’ll revisit that sight and fixate on it later. Right now, he was going to enjoy Wei Wuxian sputtering about not being an invalid. The omega wasn’t the only one who could turn the tables and fluster others.
“This is ridiculous, I could’ve shared this much food with someone. It's being wasted on-”
“Xian-ge!” He turned and widened his eyes, pouting slightly and Wei Wuxian gulped and clamped his mouth shut. Wen Ning wasn’t above playing dirty and he knew exactly how susceptible Wei Wuxian was to his own puppy eyes. Hell even Jiejie wasn’t above falling for them so who was Wei Wuxian in the grand scheme of disguised manipulation?
“You don’t fight fair,” he whined and focused his attention back on the bowl, as if glaring would make it vanish into thin air A beat of silence passed as Wei Wuxian scowled and then downed the entire bowl in one go, sputtering about radishes and the lack of spice.
There's more ofc, but please go read it on AO3 :D
Please give a round of applause and listen to the song that inspired the vibes and how I went about this fic! aka REFRAIN by Miyano Mamoru!

Mdzs abo au where instead of letting Mo Xuanyu die, Wei Wuxian wakes up and manages to stop Mo Xuanyu's soul from shattering and put his soul into Wei Wuxian's convenient new womb to give him a new form...
Only for Mo Xuanyu's soul to peace out and go to Nie Huaisang's body who is conveniently nearby, ready to release the arm, and also an omega. Nie Huaisang doesn't realize what happened until weeks later when he gets the news that he's pregnant. Nie Huaisang proceeds to freak out while miles away:
Wwx: Hm, I feel like I'm forgetting something important but I can't remember what exactly.

💚Kingfisher Feathers
Anonymous
Summary:
With an almost trance-like detachment, Wei Wuxian touched his own neck, his fingers skimming over the fresh mark. The bite wound had stopped bleeding, although he had no doubts it would open again if agitated.
Bonded.
He was bonded for life.
"Shit," he whispered. He looked over at the sleeping form of Lan Wangji—the Second Prince of Gusu and, until his brother was found, the sole heir to the throne. "Oh, shit. Lan Qiren is going to kill me."
----------
Lan Wangji goes into a fevered rut and accidentally bonds with Wei Wuxian. When they next meet, he remembers none of it, and Wei Wuxian is determined to keep the bond a secret—even when he's sent to the Cloud Recesses to be a consort in Lan Wangji's harem.
(tl;dr concubine!wwx is already married to emperor!lwj, who has no idea. drama ensues.)

Omegaji discovers something he'd rather not have known (ft. Alphaxian) Part I
Implied dubcon
----
It wasn't that Lan Wangji was unaware he was an omega, and it wasn't that he'd never before experienced a heat. It was that he hadn't expected it to come so soon - not on that day, nor that month - or he wouldn't have travelled to Caiyi in the first place.
As it was, it had taken Brother several weeks of wheedling to convince him to take a break after the end of the exam period, and several more to assure Lan Wangji he would be permitted out past curfew to explore Caiyi during the nighttime festivities. If he'd had even the slightest idea he was nearing estrus, he wouldn't have set a foot out of his home, much less Cloud Recesses' wards. But that was a moot point now.
Lan Wangji closed his eyes and sighed, a knot tightening in the pit of his stomach. He felt so foolish. Yet, no matter how thoroughly he replayed the memories of that day, there hadn't been any signs to warn him of impending trouble. He couldn't have known he was going into heat, and so he'd walked straight into the path of danger.
And now he was paying for that ignorance.
Within the darkness behind his eyelids, he caught flashes of a crowded pathway, colours spilling in the wind with an almost sickening vibrance. He felt himself pant, felt a slickness between his thighs, and the eyes of strangers raking over him as he was half-bent, paralysed in the alley beside a crowded teahouse.
There were more flashes, and then a hand touching him, dipping around his waist - between his thighs - before he could protest against it. A rank scent, and more hands, before someone shouted, and the nauseating sensations disappeared.
He heard a voice murmur something to him quietly - felt a firm tugging on his arm, and caught the flash of a scarlet ribbon out the corner of his eye. It was brighter than anything else he'd seen that day; almost hypnotising in its intensity. He couldn't quite focus on anything else, and so he clung to the sight of it, like a babe to his mother's breast.
He remembered being made to follow, and being unable to do so, and when his legs collapsed out from underneath him, he recalled the world tipping sideways as strong arms lifted him - cradled him - and he was carried up what must have been a staircase, but could have been a boat, for all the world swayed around him as he was moved.
He remembered being placed onto a bed; remembered the steady presence beside him moving away, and how he reached to pull it close again. He remembered softness, and blackness, and warmth, and then... he recalled no more - only hints of sensations: the taste of blood upon his lips, the sharp, burning pain of being breached for the very first time, a scent that made him feel content and protected.
The stark emptiness of his memory curdled his stomach, and he moved closer to the chamber pot set out by his bedside, expecting to make use of it again.
When his memories returned, it was morning. He'd woken in an unfamiliar bed, aching and alone, with someone else's outer robe draped over his bare chest. He knew what must have happened to him - felt the evidence of it between his thighs and upon his throat - but was too tired still to understand why he'd been left alone in the aftermath.
Of course, it was because he was unwanted. He'd provoked an alpha into taking him against their will, and for his salaciousness he'd been discarded. He wasn't sure if the robe had been left for him out of a sense of debt, or pity, but it was most certainly the only kindness he'd ever receive from a man who hadn't chosen him. Instead of repulsing Lan Wangji as it ought, the thought only made him cling to the robe more fiercely.
For a moment, he'd allowed despair to overwhelm him, and curled up underneath the dark fabric, scented of lotus blossoms and spice. He'd closed his eyes as tears began to well in them, pretending he was at home in the gentian cottage, and that his heart wasn't shattering in his chest.
Lan Wangji had never expected a love match - couldn't, as the son of their clan's leader - but he'd presumed he would be wanted, if only for the prestige his family name carried. He'd never expected to be tossed aside so easily, and the humiliation of it stung him to the core.
In that moment, curled up upon a strange bed under a stranger's clothing, he'd hated the alpha that mated him. But in the end, it wasn't the man's fault Lan Wangji was stupid enough to go into heat in public. He hadn't the standing to judge another.
It was almost a full half hour later when he finally rose, taking the robe with him. He shoved it down into his qiankun pouch, feeling like he'd become one of the omegas his tutors warned him of - those who tricked alphas into mating them, and then continued to make a fool of themselves when rebuffed, desperate for any slim connection to their mate.
The shame wasn't enough to keep him from placing the robe in his nest at home, where he could inhale the soothing scent of the man who'd claimed him, and find comfort in it. The grief that came with thinking of his failures nearly was.
Lan Wangji opened his eyes, unable to bear reminiscing any further. For the third time that morning, he bent over his chamberpot and was sick. He retched until his stomach was empty, and when he was done, he sat back on his haunches, staring down at the evidence of his sins.
Unbidden his fingers rose to his neck, where the unhealed scab of a mating bite lay. The wound pulsed under his fingertips, still sore to the touch, and frightening in its realness.
One night - one foolish mistake - and he'd managed to ruin the entire future that had been set out before him. Any arrangements being made for his betrothal would have to be cancelled. Never would he be able to wed to another, with the mark of traditional mating upon his skin. Not to mention that once Uncle found out he'd been stripped of his virtue in the back of a rundown inn, he'd be lucky to ever see the world outside his cottage ever again.
He didn't want to tell Uncle at all, though the precepts were clear that he should: do not tell lies. Do not obscure the truth. The fear that echoed through his every waking moment insisted otherwise, tying his tongue so he found it impossible to speak.
But he wouldn't be able to hide from his family much longer. Even without the mark of claiming - almost a blessing, considering the situation. To have a missing mate was far preferable to being disgraced and uncared for, even if tongues would wag regarding the circumstances - his virtue hadn't been the only part of him changed under his alpha's hands.
Lan Wangji looked down at the talisman paper by his side, his stomach turning green as the glow around its edges, indicating a positive result. It could mean only one thing: Lan Wangji of the Gusu Lan clan, praised for his beauty and virtue above all else, had fallen pregnant out of wedlock.
A breath shuddered out of him quite like a sob. He was going to be confined to this cottage for the rest of his life, just like Mother.
Unlike Mother, it was all his fault.

To Bring You Back Within My Reach
by ablaiseofglory
M, WIP, 20k, Wangxian
Summary: Lan Wangji, tired of the distance created by his own hand, does not know if his husband will ever be happy in Cloud Recesses, if he will ever get to see that beautiful sunny smile directed at him ever again. He knows that the way his husband avoids him now, won't speak to him now, is his own fault. He knows he was too harsh, too cruel, at the beginning of their union to ever be the reason that Wei Ying smiles again. He watches his husband smile wistfully at their youngest disciples from a distance, his uncle never letting him anywhere near them, and thinks if only Wei Ying had a child to dote on, to love, that he would be happier. Knowing he has lost his chance for that child to ever come from him, he turns to all of the children he has seen his husband give food to in the streets, all the children he has smiled at, been kind to, and played with until a disciple pulls him away, and thinks, perhaps, he knows how to make Wei Ying happy again. AKA a historical romance fic which features the Lans being terrible, Lan Xichen focused on fixing that, Lan Wanji focused on simply fixing his relationship, and Wei Wuxian focused on being a surrogate parent to as many children as he can find (eventually). Kay's comments: Important disclaimer that this story hasn't been updated in three years, so keep that in mind, if you start reading it. When I just entered the fandom, I was absolutely obsessed with this story and even now, I think of it every now and then and re-read it recently and it really holds up. Definitely angst-heavy, the kind of story that puts Wei Wuxian through an emotional blender. The misunderstandings are heavy in this one, but so well-done. Excerpt:It had been, possibly, the worst 6 months of Wei Wuxian’s life. He felt that he had truly tried his hardest not to break a rule, and it almost seemed at this point as if Lan Qiren and the elders had it out for him, and had invented new rules just to spite him. His husband was the worst of all, always reprimanding him or making him kneel for hours, for what seemed to Wei Wuxian to be small infractions. He could not understand why Lan Wangji would treat him this way. Surely, he thought, husbands are supposed to help their omegas adjust. Surely they should not treat them like this. His husband had never offered him a single kind word. Wei Wuxian almost flinched at the sight of him now. The day after his wedding, he had tried to make friends with him, joking and cajoling, and had been met with glares so harsh you would think that he had murdered a baby right in front of him. He had tried speaking to his husband cordially at dinner, far more formally than he had ever tried speaking with anyone in his life, let alone a man he was supposed to be close to, and all that had happened was Lan Wangji saying that mealtimes were to be passed in silence. When he had tried to speak more, Lan Wangji had taken the food away! Sure, it was bland fare, but he was still starving! When he had protested that, Lan Wangji had stated that further infractions would lead to another punishment in the library on proper decorum. On and on it went that way, with Wei Wuxian trying to make any overture towards kindness or friendship, and Lan Wangji punishing him severely for each attempt. After three months of acting like it did not affect him, and trying again, he had finally succumbed. One could only be forced to kneel so often before they broke, he supposed.
pov alternating, canon divergence, omegaverse, arranged marriage, alpha lan wangji, omega wei wuxian, angst, hurt/comfort, emotional hurt/comfort, strangers to lovers, slow burn, misunderstandings, miscommunication, good sibling lan xichen, yu ziyuan being an asshole, gusu lan sect punishment methods, mental health issues, mating cycles/in heat

Wangxian modern crime au where:
Lan Wangji, or Hanguang-jun, is a famous crime boss, and Yilling Laozu is said to be his 'worst enemy'.
But Wei Ying, Wei Wuxian, is an artist, boba shop owner, and the love of Lan Wangjis life. (That man has killed MANY people for this boy.)
Wei Wuxian does not know that Lan Zhan and Hanguang Jun are the same person. or, at least, he's not supposed to.
Wei Ying has one of the most powerful crime bosses, other than himself, wrapped around his finger, and he knows it. He swings his hips and bites his lips like he does not know what it does to people—to Lan Zhan, Hanguang-jun—like hes all innocent and couldn't possibly have killed most, if not all, of the Qishan Wen group single-handedly with his own kin.

WEI WUXIAN, who is afraid of childbirth and pregnancy, and wants to have adopted puppies sooner than ever give birth to them, because he knows a lot of stories about painful childbirth and death during them, and the very thought of pregnancy makes him feel terrible —
alpha!reader who makes a lot of nests and brings clothes so that your omega can hide in them, but at the same time you completely lack any desire to have biological puppies, even if your parental instinct is very active and even aggressive in manifestation — but you completely spend it on your husband, who remains an eternal puppy.

Ways to train your omega child to make a nest.
Madam Lan: It is important to prevent some garments of loved ones. Smell each one and their scent will calm you down. Arrange them carefully and in a way that makes you feel protected.
Cangse Sanren: Ready, big boy? You have 1 minute to "steal" as many clothes as you can for your nest. You lose 10 points if you take dirty clothes. Start now! *Press the timer
(Lan Zhan would put everything in order, calmly VS Wei Ying would throw the clothes where he could.
And both nests would be praised 🥺💖)
