#okay it’s really dark

Hello! This is an MV that I created called “The burnt Out Stars”!

basically it’s like the “fallen stars” but I killed off a LOT of people (Blue included, obviously)

here are some back stories to people! (Just a disclaimer, none of these characters are mine, they are just my take. All belong to their respective owners)

{Dream}

After Blue died in a house fire after Core Frisk’s negligence, Dream lost a portion of himself. Though he had not known Blue very long, he’d grown far more attached to him then he did Ink. Dream lost the warmth that was always surrounding his, making him go cold. He was desperate to bring Blue back, so, in a move that he would later regret heavily, he traded Ink in exchange for seven monster Soul from Error. Realizing that he had made a grave mistake selling off one of his only true friends, he snaps. He takes and consumes the six of the seven monster Souls. His body became so overwhelmed by the amount of magic in his veins that his head exploded with toxic positivity. He kept the last Soul in the satchel you can see on his belt. Blinded by the power, he recognized that Core was the reason he’d lost Blue, leaded him to shatter and kill them. He eventually got Ink back, but Ink was not the same.

Ink didn’t understand what they had done wrong this time. Whatever it was, they truly didn’t mean to. If only they could remember what they’d done to make Dream mad enough to give them to Error. After Error finally had the Protector in his clutches, he wanted to hurt them. Bring them down. To make them pay for daring stand in his way. He found that Sci had created magic nullifiers that were strong enough to block even Ink, so they would not wear themselves out. Error intended them for different purposes. He dragged them off to a secluded corner of the Anti-Void, and left them there. They didn’t know how long they’d been there, time was funny in the Anti-Void, but they felt the last strands of their sanity tear. The glitches consumed their vision, blinding them. They began to bite at their hand, desperately trying to break the nullifiers. Eventually, the devices snapped, they weren’t meant to last long. Just long enough for Ink to recover from an overdose or magic extension. They felt a draw. They summoned Broomie, their mind sent on one thing. Killer Error. They didn’t remember anything other then Error and white white white. They slaughtered the Destroyer in cold dust. The CREATOR had planned for this. This is what THEY had wanted all along. They had purposely chosen to not include a Creator-Destruction balance so the Multiverse would not crumble immediately. They wanted to watch it BURN. Then there was the “Dream” who said he was Ink’s friend. Ink liked Dream. He was nice and didn’t lock them in white spaces. Dream was nice when they bumped into things because they couldn’t see very well. They liked Dream.

sooooooooo yeah! It’s kinda dark- but oh well! I’m evil! Also I’m planning on Nightmare’s gang turning a new leaf. I’ll do character sheets for the rest of them later lol, but hope you like this mess of an AM!

cassie sandsmark star jorts from issue #23 of yj98 you have always been famous to me

I made these jorts in 22 hours over the course of 3 days! pure willpower via my love for cassie sandsmark because I am a total novice in sewing and i am still not very good at it. (i really just combined various tutorials and improvised on measurements and then regretted improvising measurements later on).

I thrifted these jeans last year for cassie vibes (even though I had already made her star-spangled red bellbottoms at that point) and wasn't a fan of how they fit + I couldn't figure out how to style them. I enjoyed sewing in the panels to flare them out and then everything else (cargo pockets and sewing in stars) was hell <3

the pockets are not placed well (nor are they particularly well-made), the hem is uneven, the stars are quite janky (and I think I stitched on too many), I probably stabbed my fingers a million times, and I am so in love with them

quick @meanbossart 's DU Drow with a post-tadpol Strike!

I think they'd get along, Strike has never been afraid of anyone except Bhaal and he's enough of a freak to vibe with DU Drow! I gotta draw more of tadpoled Strike anyway, the weight loss and scars are from Kressa's torture (yes even the dick scars)

Anyway I absolutely adore DU Drow and meanbossart's art, the way he draws Astarion and Orin is downright delightful and i hope i did DU Drow justice here lol

So a post I reblogged about no Dark Link in TotK being a missed opportunity got me thinking about how he could've been implemented:

You could find one of those journals in one of the Yiga outposts in the Depths talking about him. Here's how I think it could read:

Was that the Hero's Shadow spoken of in the old legends? It is said the Shadow would mirror the Hero's appearance and fighting skills... I believe it after that encounter.

Dark Link would be patrolling the Depths, and upon spotting you, he will chase you down and attack, similar to the Gloom Hands. But unlike the Gloom Hands, you cannot escape by climbing to high ground and waiting for him to vanish. He will simply teleport up to you.

You can either deal enough damage to him, which will make him leave and reappear elsewhere in the Depths (like how the Yiga flee when defeated), or you can teleport far enough away so he loses track of you. Thankfully, he will not follow you to the Surface.

If he spots you while you're wearing the Dark Link outfit, he will be temporarily confused, giving you very limited time to run away or hide before he figures it out and starts attacking you. Similar to the Lynel Mask.

Also while you're wearing the Dark Link outfit, the Yiga will not ambush you, because they think you're the Hero's Shadow.

Dark Link's number of hearts will match that of the player's, just like in OoT. The stronger you get, the stronger he gets too.

He would also have the smartest enemy AI in the game, besides Ganondorf himself:

He dodges any thrown items or arrows shot at him, which means he cannot be cheesed with bombs. He will simply hop out of the blast radius before it lands. You must fight him in close melee combat.

He will mirror your strikes perfectly if you fight him with a one-handed sword and shield. However, he only wields a sword and shield, meaning you can attack him more easily with a different weapon, like... oh I don't know... a two-handed hammer? 😉

I'm not entirely sure what he'd drop upon defeat... Maybe his sword and shield?

Anyway, those are my thoughts. I'd love to hear other ideas :)

You know, everyone (rightfully) assumes Crowley is thinking of Eden when he talks about falling in love under shelter together, but I think we're all overlooking another equally important moment, and even in the very same episode where they're having this conversation:
