One of the reasons Kathleen is so terrifying is that her “kids die, it’s just fate” speech is such an anti-vaxxer Christian determinism point of view and we all know people like that who hide behind the “nice midwestern lady” mask. Especially when directed at a black child whose family couldn’t afford medical treatment.

🩷💛 Kathleen (9), the middle sister of the triplets and the eleventh among the sisters. They are the couple's biological daughters who were born after they had given up hope of having children, a year after they had adopted the girls from the orphanage (It was a pleasant surprise!). Kathleen loves to paint and make illustrations, she makes a lot of mess and always ends up with a bit of paint in her hair or on her clothes.

Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princess Modern!AU 🩷💃🏾 In this AU, most of them were adopted by the owners of the kingdom's ballet school after the orphanage they were in closed down. (As a reference for the drawings, I mixed elements from the film with the line of dolls 😉)

Sometimes I rotate the fact on Star Trek they'll use "whole galaxy" instead of "whole universe". Like, all the weird shit they encounter once a week is within the confines of the Milky Way. And there's still stuff in Andromeda and beyond that's yet to be discovered. So there's always a sense of things to find still out there. They just lack the technology to go far enough to discover them.

I love how the Milky Way just holds the entire Q Continuum. And an alien/energy presence who takes the appearance of a grown ass adult but is really a baby. And Greek gods. And also my beloved horta. And also planets with civilizations thousands of years old, already with ruins which they don't allow outsiders to access. And civilizations on the cusp of warp travel, ready to receive a visit from funny aliens in colorful t-shirts beamed down from a silver disk in the sky. And in the dark distance? Borg Cubes.

Did I mention this is all within our own galaxy according to Star Trek lore? I'm gonna do it again because I think it's cool.

Comments on The Last of Us Episode 05

- A child clicker. It's sad and terrifying

-To save his brother, Henry had to betrayal Kathleen brother. And she is up to anything for revenge. Two people willing to do wherever it takes for their siblings

-Henry and Sam are so much better here than the show. Both of them are more charismatic and just genuinely feel like a person. Which it makes even more sad when you know what's about to happen.

I love every interaction Sam and Ellie had. Joel quickly staring at his watch while watching them playing 🥲

-I love that they made Sam tell Ellie he was infected. And Ellie was so pure by trying to save him and the fact that she tried to stay up all night...like she actually believe that she could save them.

I think she is will now starting to understand how unique she is, how her gift is unique. How important it is and how ain't that simple as matching blood and hope for the best.

-Kathleen couldn't let go of her revenge and that's what led her to get killed at the end. I may be the only one , but she ain't the only one in this series that goes to the ultimate circumstances in order to fulfill her need for revenge, even understanding that the person in which all this is for, would not agree with it.

-Stellar acting of everybody. And I love that instead of watching Joel's reaction to Henry suicide, like in the game, we watch Ellie's reaction.
