prologues are fine. you’re not too good for a prologue.
#depends on the story for me#i use them to infodump but i avoid them if i can find a better way#this is just a me thing though#other people use them more effectively#epilogues on the other hand can be a do at your own risk thing#i am not above using them to quickly end something#but digimon's epilogue taught me they need to be done very carefully#don't forget who your characters are!
