I Am Leaving LAE
Hey everyone, I have an important announcement to share.
After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to step away from Lunar and Earth Show. This means that in the coming days, I will no longer be part of LAE as a channel lead, and this will be my final time as Earth on the show.
This was not an easy choice—it’s honestly heartbreaking for me. I’ve poured so much love, time, and effort into this show, from writing and managing to recording and shaping it into what it is today. LAE has been such a huge part of my life, and leaving it behind is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.
Unfortunately, my schedule has become overwhelming, and I simply no longer have the time or energy to keep up with the demands of creating content at the level LAE requires. For the sake of my mental health and overall well-being, I need to step away and give myself the space to breathe. As much as this pains me, I know deep down it’s the right decision—not just for me, but for you, the fans, who deserve consistent, high-quality content.
That being said, LAE is not ending—it’s moving in a new direction, and while I can’t speak to all the changes ahead, I sincerely hope you’ll continue to support what comes next.
This isn’t a full goodbye either! I will still be voicing Earth, Dazzle, Miku, and many other characters on The Eclipse and Puppet Show and The Sun and Moon Show, so you’ll still hear and see me around. I’m not disappearing—I’m just shifting focus.
I am beyond grateful for this incredible community. Seeing LAE grow to 129,000 subscribers and witnessing the love and support from all of you has meant the world to me. Thank you for being part of this journey, for your encouragement, and for making this experience so special.
I hope you’ll continue supporting LAE in its new chapter, and I hope you’ll stick with me as I move forward into mine.
Thank you all, truly. This isn’t the end—just a new beginning. 💙

playing with their hair
ft. nanami, gojo, suguru, toji just fluff on top of fluff
nanami
colorful hair clips in different sizes were scattered around your thighs, and inbetween them is nanami who's currently sitting down and clicking away on his laptop, finishing the last bit of work he had to bring home that day.
the blond hair that's usually combed so neatly was then clipped back here and there in a way that made sense only to you. you gently grabbed another strands of his hair that's yet to be touched, humming to yourself like it's the time of your life.
"having fun there my love?" he asked softly, fully letting his hair to be your field experiment of the day. "mhm," you affirmed shortly, your focus is elsewhere as you're feeling conflicted in the very important decision you had to make that's right in front of your eyes.
"ken, pink or purple?" you finally asked, wanting him to have the final say. "can i see first?" he replied and you showed him the contender. he took his time in observing the items that were on your palm as he pondered. "hmm, i like the pink's design but i'll have to go with the purple. it's 'so me', as you liked to often say."
"it is so you!" you claimed as the biggest smile formed on your face, loving the fact that the busy man is playing along to your whims. nanami chuckled in hearing your excitement, continuing away with his work; ready to be all ears if you needed him.
gojo
"your hair is getting long," you muttered, hands combing through gojo's soft as silk hair over and over. the spoiled brat that's on your lap only mumbled lazily as a response, feeling utter bliss from the sensation of your fingers.
"toru can i try cutting it?" you asked, tucking his strands back on his ear. gojo gripped your wrist gently, guiding your hand back to play with his hair on his 'favorite' spot although you're really getting suspicious since it's changed from time to time. you thought this strongest man just loved having his white hair played. "sure, do whatever you want baby," he mumbled, his mind seem to be elsewhere. a candyland of some sort. he really looked like there's nothing in the world that could bother him.
you just laughed softly, to think a scratch on his head was all it took to let his guard down. "okay, no backing down later okay?"
"okay, i love you," he replied, and you had a feeling he had no idea what he's saying, swaying around that dimension of being half-asleep. you chuckled, the sound entered gojo's mind as lullaby. a small smile found its way to his lips, just a second before he fell into slumber.
suguru
"is it that time of the week again?" suguru asked with a smile, seeing a comb on your right hand and a small mirror on your left. you nodded excitedly, ushering him to take a seat. the man already knew what that look meant, you watched a hair tutorial and you wanted to try it on him first.
"alright, make me look pretty, sweet girl," he replied, there isn't a hint of fight on his tone; he's pretty enthusiastic, even. "i'll try sugu, since you already are," you said sweetly, and the man swore he could just gobble you up. "i'm already a loyal customer, there's no need for flattery," he chuckled lowly as you combed through his thick black hair. "there's no harm in making sure," you mumbled, already focusing on the task at hand.
"there's this new braid i'm learning," you explained as you parted his strands into section, the man only hummed as you talked mostly to yourself, leaving his hair in your utmost care.
"...and like this, yeah, i think i did it!" you said happily, eager to show the result as you show him the back of his head through the mirror. "gorgeous, baby. you did a great job," he smiled lovingly, spending more time looking at your delighted face than the mirror.
"i think it's mostly because of your hair though, it's just so smooth and lusc-"
"it's all you, pretty girl. trust me."
toji
"toji stay still, i'm almost done," you whined, trying to blowdry his hair but failing miserably, since the man was insistent in resting his head on your stomach, his arms locked tightly around your waist. "just let the air dry it, ma," he mumbled lazily, acting like he belonged there. and he did, and he'll fight anyone saying otherwise.
"but what if you catch a cold? the weather is getting chilly," you asked quietly, putting the tool away. "me? a cold?" he pulled away in disbelief, staring at you. you nodded, not finding anything wrong in what you just said. toji let out a defeated chuckle, completely and utterly defeated by you the only person on the world who cherished him so, the only person who will worry for his well-being over mere cold weather and wet hair.
you ran through his still damp hair, silently enjoying his embrace. "you're right, i should be careful, shouldn't i?" he asked, rubbing his hand on your side gently. "you really should," you answered softly, your thumb traced the upperside of his ear.
"right. can't let my girl worry over me 'too much," he said planting a kiss on your wrist, his breath brushing over your skin like a quiet promise.

btw shoutout to the people that write toji calling the reader 'ma' you all have such brilliant minds, im on board fully 😩

Omg I absolutely adore your Law fics!! I’d love to read about a fake dating scenario between a Strawhat reader and Law in Wano like you did with Zoro. He’d be such a cutie 🥰
Thank you 🙏
Undercover Affection
law x strawhat!reader
a/n: omg I was so excited to write this aknakjd it doesn't really follow the canon events tho
words count: 5.1k
tags: fake dating, fake marriage, teasing, wano arc
masterlist || ao3 || ko-fi
You and Trafalgar D. Water Law, notorious pirate and doctor, stand side by side in the bustling marketplace, trying to blend in as a newlywed couple. Law, wearing his usual stoic expression, is clearly out of his element, while you can’t help but smile at how ridiculous the whole situation is.
"Stop grinning like that" he mutters, adjusting the fake wedding ring you insisted on putting on his finger. He glares at you, but you only giggle louder.
"Oh, come on, it’s not so bad. We’ve got to make it convincing" you tease, leaning closer to him with exaggerated affection. His irritation is almost palpable.
"I don't need you hanging off me like that. We're here for a mission, not for you to play around." His voice is calm, but the faint redness creeping up his neck betrays him.
You smirk, knowing exactly how much it bothers him "But I love how grumpy you get when I do this. It’s like a whole new side of you."
You look at him with playful eyes, wrapping your arm around his, deliberately snuggling closer, and watching the slight twitch in his jaw.
"You're insufferable" he grumbles, but you can tell from the way his eyes flicker to yours that he's secretly enjoying it. Even if he won't admit it, you know this act is something he didn’t expect and now he can’t stop thinking about it.
You wink at him “You know, you’re really cute when you’re angry.”
Law scoffs but the tips of his ears go red, which only makes you smirk wider.
The two of you continue to walk through the crowded streets of Wano, and the people around you don't seem to pay much attention, at least not to Law. But you, on the other hand, draw plenty of stares. It's almost laughable how you're both playing the part of a loving couple so well. You’re sure the act would’ve made some people second-guess themselves, if not for your obvious affection for Law.
“Do you really have to hold my hand like this?” Law mutters, trying to keep his face neutral. His tone is deadpan, but his hand doesn't pull away, even though he clearly wants to.
“Yes, I do. It’s important for the cover, we're married, remember?” You tighten your grip slightly, watching him try his hardest to stay composed, and you can’t help but relish in how embarrassed he looks.
“...I’m going to regret this” he mutters under his breath, his voice barely audible.
“No, you won’t,” you say sweetly, squeezing his hand with a grin “You like it.”
Law doesn’t say anything for a moment. His face remains impassive, but you can see the little vein in his forehead twitching. It’s clear that he’s not nearly as indifferent as he’s trying to make himself seem.
Before he can retort, you pull his arm, dragging him towards a stand with fresh produce "Look! They have strawberries!!"
You start picking up the plump, red fruit, inspecting it with exaggerated curiosity. Law watches you, his arms crossed, a frown on his face.
"You’re acting like a child," he observes dryly, clearly disinterested. But you know he’s watching, and deep down, you know that he’s silently amused.
“You’re just mad because I’m having fun. Don’t worry, I'll buy you some too” you say, but the moment you say it, you know he’ll probably refuse it.
Law doesn't respond, but you catch the tiniest glimmer of amusement in his eyes, just for a moment. His mouth tightens, but it’s not out of frustration anymore. It’s something else, something softer, though he’d never admit it.
You turn to him and offer one of the strawberries "Want one? You might smile for once."
He takes the strawberry reluctantly, muttering under his breath, "You're impossible" but you can see the corners of his mouth twitch, as if the smallest hint of a smile might want to escape.
The night comes, and you’re both sitting around a small campfire outside of town, eating a simple meal. Law’s still in his pirate garb, but you’ve managed to dress him up in something a little more traditional, at least in a way that blends with the locals. He looks even more irritated now that he’s out of his comfort zone, but you can’t help but stare at him.
"You know, you really should smile more," you say casually, picking at the food in front of you "You’d be less grumpy."
Law shoots you a glare, his gaze cold but somehow fond "I don’t need to smile."
“You say that, but you do smile sometimes, even when you don’t mean to,” you tease, leaning your head on your hand "Like when you're all annoyed. It’s cute."
His eyebrow twitches, and you immediately know you’ve hit a nerve.
"I do not get 'annoyed'," he hisses "I’m just... trying to survive being stuck here."
“Oh sure, but I’ve noticed something,” you say, leaning in with a smirk “Every time I annoy you, you get this cute little angry face. It’s the best part of the day.”
Law scowls harder, trying to maintain his composure, but you can see the way his face softens ever so slightly, as if he’s secretly enjoying your teasing.
“I’m not cute” he mutters, but his voice lacks its usual edge.
“Oh, trust me, you’re definitely cute. Especially when you try to hide it” you say, reaching over to poke his cheek, making him flinch.
“Don’t touch me” he warns, his patience thinning, but there's no real heat behind it.
You pull your hand back with a grin, trying to hide your glee “I bet I can get you to smile before this mission is over.”
“You won’t" he says, though there's a hint of challenge in his voice.
You wink at him “Wanna bet?”
Law looks at you for a long moment, his eyes narrowing. But you both know it’s a challenge he’s already lost.
The next morning, the Heart Pirates gather. You and Law make your way back after a quick stop in the town. You’re both still playing the role of a happily married couple, though your grin and the slight blush on Law’s face tell a different story.
"Morning, you two" Bepo greets with a wave as you approach the group. He gives you both a curious glance but doesn’t comment right away. You notice his ears twitch slightly, as if he’s trying to figure something out.
"Morning" you reply sweetly, wrapping your arm around Law's waist. You can’t resist leaning into him just a little, making sure everyone notices.
Shachi and Penguin, standing nearby, exchange a quick look.
Law doesn't want to draw attention to it, but he's well aware of the curious stares from his crew.
"What's going on between you two?" Penguin asks, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow "I thought we were supposed to be working undercover, not pretending to be... a couple." He says "couple" with exaggerated air quotes, making sure the whole group hears it.
You giggle, looking up at Law "Oh, we are, don't worry. Usopp said we should go undercover as a freshly married couple, right, honey?" you say, dragging out the last word with far too much affection, but you actually did it to tease him. In facts, Law’s face tenses, and you can almost see the steam coming out of his ears.
Bepo looks between the two of you, his expression softer than the others "You’re really convincing" he says, a faint blush creeping up on his cheeks. He clearly doesn’t quite understand the situation but seems to be happy for you, or at least trying to be supportive.
“You’re making him uncomfortable, y/n” Shachi teases, nudging you playfully.
“Well, it's a fake marriage after all” you reply with a grin “If he likes it or not we have to make it seem real, especially because we almost got caught”
Law huffs, crossing his arms tightly “We’re not really married. It’s a cover for the mission. And you...” He points at Shachi, who seems way too entertained by the situation “...don’t have to comment on it.”
"Sure, sure, but tell me this," Shachi continues, leaning in as though he's unraveling a great mystery "How come every time I look over, you're so close? So touchy-feely for just a mission. There’s gotta be something going on.”
Penguin snickers in the background, enjoying the show “Shachi might be onto something, Law. You sure you’re not falling for y/n?”
You wink at Law, watching his patience fray a little more “Oh, I think he’s already there” you say, making sure to be extra teasing.
Law narrows his eyes, clearly not thrilled at the idea of his crew picking up on this “I am not! Stop messing around, all of you. We have more important things to focus on.”
But you can tell that beneath the irritation, there’s a hint of something else, embarrassment? Maybe even… a little fondness?
“I’m just saying,” Bepo starts, his voice soft but sincere “you two look so natural together. It’s kind of adorable.”
Your eyes soften, and you offer Bepo a warm smile "I’m glad someone sees it that way," you reply, winking at Law again. He’s practically fuming now, but there's a twinkle in his eyes that he’s not quite able to hide.
“Adorable?” Law scoffs, his face now an unmistakable shade of red “I swear, you’re all insane.” He glares at his crew, but even the glare doesn't hide how his heart's racing just a little.
Later that evening, as you and Law sit around the campfire again, this time with the rest of the Heart Pirates on watch duty, the teasing continues, though now it’s less playful and more knowing. Everyone’s fully aware that something’s up between you two, and it’s clear that you’ve been having a lot of fun with the idea.
“Alright, alright, let’s just get this out of the way," Shachi starts, taking a seat beside you and leaning in conspiratorially "Who fell first?”
Law doesn’t even look at you, but you can feel his discomfort radiating “We’re not doing this” he mutters with an exasperated sigh.
But the teasing continues, the Heart Pirates are all looking at you two with amusement in their eyes. Bepo and Penguin are now watching you closely, seemingly trying to pick up on every little interaction, while Shachi just can’t stop himself from pressing the issue.
“You two are definitely more than just a cover story,” Shachi says, grinning from ear to ear “You’re always so close, so... affectionate.”
“Yeah!” Penguin chimes in, clearly enjoying the drama “It’s like you guys are really a thing.”
Law remains silent for a few beats, his jaw clenched, clearly holding his frustration in check. But you notice the tightening of his fists and the way his eyes flicker with irritation.
You glance over at him, but before you can even tease him again, you notice his patience clearly running out “That’s enough” he snaps, voice low but sharp.
The whole group falls quiet, the sudden intensity of his voice making them look at him with wide eyes.
“I don’t like this attention, alright?” Law’s voice is colder now, his usual calm demeanor replaced by something harder, something… serious. His gaze shifts to you, and you’re caught off guard by how harsh his words are “I don’t like you hanging off me all the time, I don’t like being treated like your husband, and I don’t like you constantly teasing me. We’re not a couple, y/n. We’re not even close enough for you to call me your friend, let alone you husband...”
The words hit like a slap, and for a moment, all you can do is stare at him in disbelief. His face is set in a frown, his usual stoic expression replaced by something colder, more distant. You feel a pang in your chest, your heart sinking at how genuine he seems.
The rest of the crew falls silent, unsure of what to say.
You take a step back, your arm slipping as you pull away. Your eyes flicker down to the ground, trying to hide the hurt that's suddenly swelling inside you.
You’re not sure why, but the way he said it, so blunt, so final, makes you believe him. Maybe you had been too forward. Maybe you pushed him too far, even if you were just jocking around.
You try to force a smile, but it feels weak, forced "Right," you say quietly, your voice barely above a whisper "I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel this uncomfortable."
Law doesn’t respond, too focused on his crew and the way they’re looking at him. The awkward silence stretches, and you find yourself drifting further away. You can’t bring yourself to joke anymore, to tease him as you had before. The sting of his words cuts deeper than you want to admit.
The rest of the evening goes by in an uncomfortable silence. You eat your meal, your eyes occasionally flicking toward Law, but you can’t bring yourself to look at him for long. Every time you do, you feel the weight of his words echoing in your mind.
The next few days feel... different. You’ve stopped teasing him, stopped getting close like you used to. Whenever you have to interact, you’re careful to keep your distance, avoiding any unnecessary physical contact. You act as professional as possible, keeping the focus entirely on the mission.
It doesn’t escape the Heart Pirates’ notice, though. They watch as the dynamics between you and Law change. You’re not the playful couple anymore. Instead, you seem more distant, more reserved—especially around Law.
Shachi notices first "Hey, y/n, everything okay?" he asks one morning as you sit near the ship’s edge, watching the horizon. He knows something’s off, and though he doesn’t want to pry, he can’t help but ask.
You force a smile, but it doesn’t reach your eyes “Yeah. Just tired, that’s all.”
Bepo, who’s been quietly observing, speaks up hesitantly “You haven’t been... teasing him anymore. Are you two—”
“We’re fine,” you interrupt quickly, too quickly. You don’t want to explain. You don’t even know what to say "Just focusing on the mission, as it should have been from the very start"
The conversation ends there, but you can feel the weight of their concern. They’re noticing the shift, the sudden distance between you and Law. But none of them, especially not Law, know how to fix it.
Days pass in Wano, and you continue to keep your distance from Law, though the tension between the two of you feels thicker than ever. Every time you’re near him, the awkwardness is palpable. But something else is happening in the background.
The Strawhats are back in Wano. After all the time you’ve spent apart.
It’s in the middle of a bustling market square, where you and Law are walking around trying to gather some supplies for the mission, when you spot them. You freeze, your heart racing. Your breath catches in your throat when your eyes land on Sanji.
Without thinking, you let everything fall from your hands and sprint toward him. Sanji’s back is turned, so he doesn’t see you coming until it’s too late. You throw yourself into his arms with tears in your eyes, overwhelmed with relief.
“Sanji!” you exclaim, your voice muffled against his chest as you cling to him.
Sanji’s eyes widen in surprise, but then he smiles softly, his arms wrapping around you “Hey there, y/n” he says, his tone warm “It’s been a while, huh?”
You pull back slightly, wiping at your eyes with the back of your hand “I’ve missed you so much” you admit softly.
Sanji raises an eyebrow, but his smile softens “It’s good to see you too. Looks like you’ve got a lot on your mind, though. You okay?”
You hesitate for a moment, then give a small nod “Yeah... I’m fine now. I just... I’ve been through some stuff. But I’m glad you’re here.”
Law watched everything, staying back. As soon as he saw you hugging the cook, he took everything you dropped and left you alone with them, even because it looks like you forgot about him.
The next day, you find yourself meeting up with Sanji at his little noodle shop. You’ve told him everything, how you and Law have been pretending to be a married couple, how your feelings have gotten tangled up, and how, after Law’s harsh words, you’ve pulled away to keep things professional. You tell him about the emotional distance between you and Law, and the complicated feelings you’re dealing with.
“I don’t know what to do anymore,” you admit, your hands twisting nervously in your lap “I feel like I’m losing him. He doesn’t want me around, and it’s driving me crazy. But I don’t know how to fix it.”
Sanji’s expression softens as he listens to you, his gaze gentle
“I thought it was just supposed to be a cover” you murmur, “but somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like one. And now... now it feels like everything’s falling apart.” You pause, looking down “I think I care about him more than I thought I did.”
Sanji reaches out, giving your hand a reassuring squeeze “You’ve got a good heart, y/n. And I know Law is a complicated guy. But if you care about him, you need to figure out what you want. You’re not just a cover story, okay?”
You meet his gaze, feeling a sense of clarity you hadn’t realized you were missing “You’re right. I just wish I knew how to fix it.”
Sanji leans in, his voice dropping lower “It’s okay to take things slow. And if you want to... maybe you could start by not hiding from him anymore.”
Before you can respond, you both hear some footsteps approaching. You quickly stand up and walk away from the alley, but you notice people beginning to gossip behind you.
“You heard about y/n and her husband, right?” one woman whispers to her friend.
“Yeah, I heard she’s been cheating on him with that blonde guy. Can you believe that? I mean, the nerve!” another woman replies, her voice dripping with gossip.
The words hit you like a punch in the gut. You feel your face flush with embarrassment and frustration. Cheating? How did they come up with that?
You try to ignore it, but it’s hard. The whispers follow you as you walk back to the group, and you can feel the sting of their words deep in your chest.
Later that evening, as you rejoin Law and the rest of the crew, you notice his usual cold demeanor has shifted. He’s standing by the fire, his back to you, as if he’s been waiting for you. When you approach, he doesn’t immediately acknowledge you.
"Are you... okay?" you ask softly, but you can see the frustration in his posture. He doesn’t respond immediately, but his jaw tightens.
“I don’t appreciate people talking about my personal life like that, true or not...” Law says, his voice low and clipped “You’ve been avoiding me for days, and now I hear rumors? What’s going on?”
Your stomach twists in knots “Law...”
“I don't care about you and the blondie but...” he cuts you off, his gaze icy “I can’t focus when people are talking about me like that, especially if we're supposed to be undercover here.”
You feel your throat tighten, the weight of his words sinking in. He’s frustrated, and his anger makes your heart ache “I didn’t mean for any of this to happen, you know Sanji is my friend, people just don't know the truth and make things up” you admit, your voice shaky.
Law sighs, running a hand through his hair, looking as if he’s about to snap “Then stop avoiding me. We’re in this together, but if you keep pushing me away, I’m not sure what we’re doing anymore... we can't bring so much attention on us.”
The atmosphere between you and Law is still tense. You don’t want things to spiral even further, so you suggest an idea, something that might distract from the tension and let everyone cool off for a while.
"Why don’t we go grab some food?" you suggest, your voice a little hesitant but hopeful.
Law turns to you, his expression neutral “You think food is going to help?”
You shrug, trying to lighten the mood "Maybe. Besides, I’ve been hearing about this noodle shop... the chef is called Sanji, I think?... I’ve heard it’s good..."
Law’s brows furrow, but his interest is piqued "Sanji? You think going right to him won't worsen things?"
You nod "Maybe if people see us all together, as three good friends, they're going to stop talk about me cheating..."
He looks at you for a moment, then sighs, clearly not wanting to be left alone with his thoughts any longer "Fine. Let’s go."
The small noodle spot is tucked away in a corner of Wano, busy and filled with the warmth of the cooking. When you and Law arrive, you’re greeted immediately by Sanji’s bright smile, but there’s something in his eyes that softens when he sees you. He’s not as flirtatious as usual, and there’s a sharpness in his gaze as he sees the tension between you and Law.
"Well, well, if it isn’t the infamous 'married couple'" Sanji says, his voice light, though there’s an edge to it now.
You try to smooth things over, grinning at him “Yeah, we’re here to eat...”
It’s time to kill the rumors.
“We’ll sit over here,” you say quickly, guiding Law to a seat “Make it clear to everyone that we’re... still a team.”
Law sits down stiffly, clearly not thrilled, but it’s obvious he’s playing along. He keeps his eyes ahead, refusing to acknowledge Sanji’s deliberate coldness toward him.
Sanji brings over bowls of noodles with flair, but his attitude towards Law remains distant, even a little antagonistic. He makes sure to place the food right in front of you, offering a special smile "Just for you, y/n. A little something extra special, like always."
He looks at you, and his smile softens just a bit. But when his eyes flick to Law, the warmth vanishes, and the tension in the room grows thicker.
Law doesn’t react right away, but you can feel the change in him. His jaw tightens, his body language growing even more tense than it was before. He clenches his fist under the table, clearly irritated.
"Stop playing games," Law mutters, his voice low and tight with barely contained frustration "Just serve the food and stop making this weird."
Sanji, clearly not intimidated, shrugs "If you don’t like how things are going, maybe you should take a look at how you’re treating her. It’s obvious you’ve got no control over the situation"
You flinch at the words, but Sanji’s eyes flicker to you in a way that makes you feel a bit guilty. You didn’t want this to turn into some kind of game, but now, it’s getting harder to keep things under wraps.
You look at Law, hoping to redirect the conversation "Let’s just eat," you say, trying to keep things casual "We need to look like a normal couple to the town. We don’t want any more rumors."
Law gives you a long, searching look before nodding "Fine. But we’re done with the theatrics, understood?"
As the meal progresses, the silence between you, Sanji, and Law grows thicker. The tension is almost unbearable, but it’s working, people around are starting to get the message. Law and you are a team, no matter the rumors, and the gossip about you "cheating" slowly starts to fade as the focus shifts to you two sitting together.
Sanji seems to settle into his role. He occasionally glances at you, making sure you’re taken care of, but the icy distance he’s putting between himself and Law is unmistakable. Law notices it too, and while he’s trying to keep his cool, it’s clear it’s starting to get under his skin.
Finally, Sanji returns to the counter, his back turned, leaving you and Law in silence. It’s the perfect opportunity to clear the air, but neither of you speaks.
You glance at Law, noticing the frustration in his eyes. He doesn’t like this. Doesn’t like the way Sanji is treating you, doesn’t like the way he’s feeling about the whole situation.
You try to lighten the mood, but it’s hard to ignore the tightness in his shoulders "You know, we’re supposed to be a married couple, not a couple of kids at a playground."
Law narrows his eyes at you "I didn’t sign up for this. The mission’s getting complicated."
You try to ignore the tug in your chest, a bit of confusion creeping in "It’s just a cover, Law. Nothing’s changed. We’re just doing what we need to do."
But the words hang there, and even though you say them, you know that things aren’t so simple anymore. You feel it, and you know Law does too.
As you leave the shop together, the streets of Wano no longer seem as welcoming as before. The weight of the situation presses down on you, and Law’s behavior is starting to affect you in ways you didn’t expect. You can’t figure out if it’s the mission weighing on him, or if it’s something more.
After the meal at Sanji’s, the rumors finally start dying down, but the damage between you and Law lingers. The tension is unbearable, Law barely looks at you, and you, still hurt from his earlier words, keep your distance.
Sanji notices. The crew notices. Even the damn town notices.
One evening, as you sit outside the inn you and Law have been staying at for your undercover mission, you overhear some locals whispering.
“They say that woman is still in love with her husband, but he doesn’t care for her.” “Shame. She looks miserable.” “She was always all so cute and clingy to him but she stopped entirely, he must’ve pushed her away.”
You clench your fists. It’s one thing to suffer in silence, but another to hear strangers pitying you.
Law suddenly walks past you, pausing for a second before speaking, “Go inside.” His voice is firm but quiet.
You don’t move “Why do you care?” you murmur, not looking at him “You made it clear I was just a nuisance to you and it's just a mission, which is almost over anyway given Zoro and Luffy are making trubles after trubles...”
Law exhales sharply “I never—” He stops, frustrated, before running a hand down his face “Listen, I was trying to stop myself from—” He cuts himself off again, jaw clenched.
You finally turn to him “From what?”
His silence is enough of an answer.
Your heart clenches, but you shake your head “You don’t have to force yourself to tolerate me anymore, Law. We’ll finish the mission, and after that—”
“Enough,” he snaps, suddenly grabbing your wrist. His grip is firm but not painful, just desperate “You don’t get to decide that.”
Your eyes widen as he pulls you toward him, his voice low but intense “I was a damn coward,” he mutters “You—you were always in my space, always teasing me, and I—” He exhales sharply “I pushed you away because I—”
You hold your breath.
“I fell for you” Law finally admits, looking at you with something raw and vulnerable in his gaze “I fell so hard, and I didn’t know how to deal with it.”
Your heart nearly stops.
“You what?”
He groans, looking away “I can’t stand you ignoring me. I can’t stand watching you with Sanji, even though I know it’s nothing. And I hate that I made you think I didn’t care.”
The words hit you like a storm, leaving you speechless. He looks genuinely frustrated, at himself.
You swallow hard before whispering, “So what do we do now?”
Law looks at you, his grip tightening slightly “You tell me,” he murmurs, voice quieter now “Because if you still want me, then I—” He hesitates, then sighs “I don’t want this to be fake anymore.”
Your breath hitches.
For the first time in weeks, you grin “I mean... I think it's too soon to talk about marriage, isn't it?”
Law groans, rolling his eyes “Unbelievable.”
You laugh, and before you can stop yourself, you tug him down into a kiss.
And just like that, the mission doesn’t feel so complicated anymore.
Back on the Polar Tang, the Heart Pirates immediately notice the change.
Law still wears his usual scowl, still grumbles under his breath whenever you tease him, but there’s no real bite behind his words anymore. The biggest difference? He lets you get away with it.
You lean against his side as he studies a map, chin resting on his shoulder. He doesn’t shove you off like he used to, he just sighs heavily, pretending to ignore you.
“Oi, captain,” Shachi calls out, smirking “Didn’t you say you hated being touched?”
Penguin snickers “Yeah, man, what happened to all that complaining? Because right now, it looks like you like it.”
Law doesn’t even look up, but you can see the way his jaw tightens, the tips of his ears turning pink “Shut up” he mutters, flipping a page of the map aggressively.
“Oh, come on, it’s adorable,” Bepo chimes in, tail wagging “You used to be all grumpy whenever she clung to you, and now you just accept it?”
You grin, tilting your head up to look at him “Aww, so you do like my attention.”
His eye twitches “I didn’t say that.”
“But you didn’t deny it.”
Shachi and Penguin lose it, laughing while Bepo beams like a proud parent.
Law exhales through his nose, rubbing his temples. But despite the grumbling, he doesn’t move you away. And that’s when it clicks.
Shachi leans back, crossing his arms “Y’know, I think we all got it wrong before.”
Penguin nods, smirking “Yeah. We thought y/n was the lost cause, but—”
They both turn to Law, who immediately tenses, as if he knows what’s coming.
“You actually fell harder.”
The room falls silent.
You blink up at him, waiting for his reaction.
Law glares at his crew, looking about two seconds away from using Room just to teleport them out of his sight. But instead, he lets out a sharp exhale, shutting his eyes for a moment. When he opens them again, he just mutters “Unbelievable.”
You beam and press a quick kiss to his cheek, watching as his face turns bright red.
Yeah. Maybe being undercover in Wano wasn’t such a disaster after all.

Crimsonender approached me to negotiate a public apology, where we're at is that he still disagrees on the matters of transandrophobia but admits that the grooming allegations were a card of smoke handed to him by opportunists & that he led a transmisogynistic hate campaign against me based on nothing more than an internet argument.
I made some pretty sweeping demands in DMs, including appending the callout doc so all links lead to the update, being forthright with his way more transmisogynist peers who joined in, and he seems to be obliging me so far which gives me a bit of hope.
you can read his initial statement here, he's told me he plans to make a bigger & more comprehensive statement on transmisogyny in trans spaces + a formal apology to me. I naturally disagree pretty strongly with parts but I'll take what I can get.

This is the Sexual Abuse part of the book. I think it's very well written and a very important, good message. Almost made me cry, honestly. Something all kids need to hear.
Now, to be fair, I can frankly understand why this book got banned. Aside from stuff that's stupid like homophobia, there are some reasons I can sympathize with misguided parents about some of their apprehensions. I can see why bigots can easily sway concerned parents about a book like this.
There's a lot of nudity in it.
Tumblr wouldnt even allow me to post uncensored pictures of what it NOT censored in the book.
And people who were raised like me have a really hard time accepting that it's normal - one might even say perfectly normal! - for children to be comfortable with nudity and learning sex ed; particularly who are about to go through puberty to be able to know what, say, breasts look like. You know, the breasts that may just be growing on their own bodies?
It's uncomfortable for me and for people like me to look at a book like this and consider a 10 year old reading it, but - sometimes we have to get over it.
Because it's not only NOT harming kids, it is keeping kids safe.
And hey, if this book isnt for you as a parent, or you just want your kid to wait til they're older, that's understandable. but the book itself should not be banned, that is a decision families can make for themselves.
The important thing is the comfort and safety of the child. If a kid doesn't want to read this book, they shouldn't have to. but if they do want to, and it helps them, that's great. And they will at some point need appropriate, science based, consent-inclusive sex ed.

Alexia and r have a 10 year age gap and alexia’s always acting really sweet and boyfriend to r in private but refuses to acknowledge there’s something between them and being cold in public then being apologetic but happy ending please!

Alexia Putellas x Reader
Invisible in the light - adored in the dark
WC: 969
MasterList
Warnings: age gap, ignored? Kiss?
Song: you were good to me - Jeremy Zucker & Chelsea Cutler
The first time it happened, you brushed it off.
Maybe Alexia didn’t hear you when you called her name. Maybe the restaurant was too loud, or maybe she was too focused on whatever conversation she was having with her teammates.
But then it happened again.
And again.
And again.
In private, Alexia was everything you could ever want in a girlfriend. She held you so close at night that it felt like she was afraid you would slip through her fingers.
She pressed lazy kisses to your forehead in the mornings, whispered sweet nothings in Spanish that you couldn’t yet understand but still loved the sound of.
She traced shapes onto your bare skin, her fingers moving over your back like an artist painting on a canvas.
But in public?
It was as if you didn’t exist.
Alexia wouldn’t look at you. Wouldn’t talk to you. Wouldn’t even acknowledge your presence. She was ice-cold, a stark contrast to the warmth she showed you behind closed doors.
You thought you could handle it. You thought it wouldn’t bother you.
You were wrong.
You’re at a team dinner when it happens again.
Alexia sits at the other end of the table, deep in conversation with Mapi and Patri, laughing at some inside joke you aren’t privy to. You, on the other hand, are stuck in an awkward silence between two of the younger players, stirring the ice in your drink with your straw, pretending that it doesn’t hurt.
But it does.
It’s not just that she’s ignoring you. It’s the way she goes out of her way to do it. The way her gaze dances around you, how she shifts her body away when you try to move closer, how she only speaks in clipped, professional tones if she absolutely has to respond.
Like you’re nothing more than a stranger.
Like you’re not the same person she held in her arms just last night, whispering soft te quieros into your hair.
The thought makes your stomach twist.
You try to hold it in, to swallow it down. But when the team finally gets up to leave, Alexia walking right past you like you’re invisible, something inside you snaps.
The apartment door barely clicks shut before you say it.
“Why do you do that?”
Alexia turns to you, mid-way through pulling off her jacket. “¿Qué?”
“You know what.” Your voice wavers, but you keep going. “Why do you act like I don’t exist in public?”
Alexia freezes. Her brows knit together, confusion flickering in her hazel eyes. “Y/n, I don’t—”
“You do,” you cut her off, stepping forward. “You do, Alexia. You ignore me. You won’t even look at me.” Your voice cracks on the last part, frustration mixing with something more vulnerable.
Alexia exhales sharply, running a hand through her hair. “It’s not like that.”
“Then what is it?”
There’s a long pause. She looks at you, really looks at you for the first time all night, and her expression softens.
“I—” She hesitates. “I’m scared.”
Your brows furrow. “Scared of what?”
She glances away, lips pressing together. “Scared of what people will think. Scared of how they’ll see me.”
It clicks then. The age gap. The inevitable judgment.
But that doesn’t make it hurt any less.
“So what?” Your voice is quieter now, but no less firm. “You’d rather pretend I don’t exist than risk people knowing we’re together?”
Alexia’s eyes snap back to yours, and there’s something raw in them. Guilt. Regret.
“Y/n…” She steps closer, reaching for you, but you don’t move.
“You can’t have it both ways,” you say, voice barely above a whisper. “You can’t treat me like I’m the most important person in the world when we’re alone and then act like I’m nothing as soon as other people are around.”
The silence stretches between you, thick and heavy.
Then Alexia sighs, shoulders dropping. “You’re right.”
You blink. “I am?”
“Yes.” She takes another step forward, closing the space between you. This time, you let her. Her hands find yours, fingers curling around your wrists. “I didn’t realize how much I was hurting you.”
You swallow. “You were.”
She nods, gaze full of remorse. “Lo siento, mi amor.”
You sigh. “In English, Alexia.”
A small smile tugs at her lips despite the tension in the air. “I’m sorry, my love.”
You hold her gaze for a long moment, searching for any trace of insincerity. You find none.
Then she’s pulling you into her arms, wrapping herself around you like she’s trying to shield you from the world. “I’ll do better,” she murmurs into your hair. “I promise.”
You exhale against her shoulder, the weight on your chest easing just a little. “Okay.”
She pulls back just enough to cup your face, her thumb tracing gentle circles against your cheek. “I love you, Y/n.”
Your heart stumbles over itself. She’s said it before, but never like this—never so openly, so unguarded.
“I love you too,” you breathe.
And then she kisses you.
It’s slow, tender, full of unspoken apologies and silent vows. She kisses you like she’s making up for every second she’s ignored you, like she’s trying to prove with her lips what she failed to show in public.
And you let her.
When she finally pulls away, she rests her forehead against yours. “Cuddle with me?” she murmurs.
You can’t help but smile. “Only if you actually acknowledge me tomorrow.”
Alexia chuckles softly. “Deal.”
You curl up together on the couch, her arms around you, her heartbeat steady beneath your ear. And for the first time in a long time, you feel seen.
Because in the end, love isn’t about the whispers in the dark.
It’s about the way someone chooses to hold your hand in the light.

Pillow Talk
It’s your first day back at work.
You stretched your maternity leave as far as humanly possible, used every single vacation day, and worked from home until you ran out of excuses—but today, there was no escaping it. You had to go back. At least your office has a daycare. If it didn’t, you’re pretty sure you would’ve quit on the spot.
Now, finally home, you don’t think you’ve ever been happier to see Alexia. Not only did she get back before you, but she also brought dinner. You could’ve kissed her right then and there—actually, you did. You love her, truly, but if she had waited for you to cook—or, God forbid, asked you to help—you might have had a breakdown.
Dinner was great, dishes were ignored, Alice fell asleep peacefully, and now you’re both getting ready for bed. It’s your favorite part of the night—when everything slows down, and you can just be. Alexia already talked about her day, and now it’s your turn. Normally, this would be when you two discuss important things, but Nicole unloaded so much gossip at work today that you have to let it out before your brain explodes.
You’re fluffing the pillows as you talk, and Alexia, already lying on her side under the covers, is nodding along like a very patient woman.
“Nicole told me Amanda from Compliance is literally faking a relationship online.”
Alexia blinks, lifting her head slightly. “How?”
“I don’t know yet! I’m getting more details tomorrow,” you say, putting in your bruxism mouth guard. “I don’t even get why she’d lie, she doesn’t need to.”
Alexia hums, settling back in.
That’s encouragement. You keep going.
"And you won’t believe this—the sitter at daycare said Alice was the easiest baby to deal with. She barely even cried! Which, like, I knew our baby was perfect, but now it’s confirmed by an expert."
Alexia hums again. This time, it sounds more like sleepy agreement than actual interest, but you’re on a roll now.
“And remember that guy from the party last year? The one who told you he was a Real Madrid fan?”
Alexia makes a vague noise of acknowledgment.
“Not that he was special or anything,” you continue, “but he invited Nicole out.”
That gets a reaction. Alexia forces one eye open. “That guy?”
“That guy.”
“She said yes?”
“She said yes. And if she’d asked me first, I would’ve told her absolutely not.”
Alexia exhales, long and slow, adjusting the blanket. “Baby, I love you so much, and I want to hear all of this… tomorrow. We have to wake up early.”
Which you think is fair. She was the one running around after a ball, going to the gym, lifting weights—you mostly just fought with spreadsheets, tried not to cry when Alice waved goodbye way too enthusiastically at daycare, and dodged an email from HR that felt suspiciously passive-aggressive.
“I know,” you say, climbing under the covers. “I love you too. But can I just finish really quick? I swear, I’m almost done.”
She hums again. That’s permission.
“So, turns out the guy? He was dating someone else the whole time. Poor Nicole, bless her heart, but maybe a little stalking would’ve helped her.”
Silence.
You glance over. Alexia’s eyes are closed, her face relaxed, her breathing slow and even.
“Oh,” you whisper. “You’re already asleep.”
You sigh, amused, and watch her for a moment. The way her eyelashes rest against her cheeks, the way her hair falls across the pillow, the faintest hint of a smile still lingering on her lips—it makes your chest ache in the best way.
She looks warm, soft, safe. Like home.
Carefully, you scoot closer, pressing a gentle kiss to her shoulder.
“Good night, baby,” you murmur, even though she’s already lost in dreams.
Then, finally, you close your eyes.

Hello! Can do a chapter fic off this fic prompt Danny phantom x dc: https://www.tumblr.com/corkinavoid/767516270934556672/dpxdc-legal-power?source=share
This isn’t a one-to-one recreation of that dialogue but it’s based on that as a framework/premise
Batman dropped down into the room behind a pair of figures—a teenage boy and a slumped adult—letting his landing create an audible thump to alert them of his presence.
If the teen noticed, he didn’t react. Even as Bruce approached, he continued to stare impassively at the wheezing figure on the ground, an old wooden bat with flaking green paint on its side loosely held in his right hand. Bruce had already suspected who the figure would be since he arrived, but seeing the Joker so broken was still bizarre. No laughing, no schemes. He didn’t even seem to be attempting to escape his binds, just… lying there, almost as if pinned in place.
Bruce paused a step behind the teen. “I don’t know what the Joker did to you, but this isn’t the right way to go about this.”
The teen scoffed, and Bruce felt a painful lurch in his chest as he was reminded oh so strongly of his son Jason. “And what, let him go kill more people?”
“I know he deserves to face justice, but not like this. Everyone deserves a right to fair trial. No one person should be judge, jury, and executioner.”
The teen turned to look at him with glowing green eyes, and Batman felt himself freeze. He had faced gods before, yet even using that as a comparison felt like an understatement. The boy’s eyes belonged to someone far older than his teenage form implied, and they radiated power. Inevitability.
When the teen—no, the entity—spoke again, his words carried an unearthly echo. “Perhaps, but I’m not acting for just myself.” He paused, glanced down at the Joker, then asked almost conversationally, “Do you know how many people he’s killed?”
Another pause, but before Bruce could even try to answer, the entity continued, “Eight hundred and fifty-six. He’s ended the lives of eight hundred and fifty-six human souls. I can tell you about every single one, if you want. About who they were, what their dreams were before he killed them. About the pain they felt at his hands.”
He punctuated the word ‘pain’ by raising up the wooden bat in his hands and ramming its end down onto the Joker’s arm. He let out a wheeze, muffled by the gag in his mouth.
“I have a duty to my people. I am the King of the In-Between and of all the souls that pass through it—even ones whose stays were as brief as his. I am the rightful arbiter of his fate. And with that power, I sentence him to death.”
He raised the bat again, adjusting his grip so he’d hit with the side rather than the end this time, then paused and let out a chuckle. “Of course, just because it’s based on some justice doesn’t mean I can’t have a bit of fun with it too.” He swung the bat down, slamming it into the Joker’s side, then hooked it under the clown’s torso and flicked him up through the air to slam into the wall. “We all really hate this guy.”
With the entity’s attention fully turned away from him as he sauntered towards the Joker’s slumped figure, Bruce could finally unfreeze himself.
Even if the Ghost King did have the right to pass judgement on Joker, Bruce still couldn’t let torture go on like this. He wouldn’t win a direct fight, but he could hopefully at least grab the Joker and bring him over to the police. Carefully, he reached for some of the smoke bombs and batarangs on his belt and readied his grapple. He’d have to do this very, very fast.
But before he could move, another figure entered the scene. Red Hood, emerging from the shadows on the far side of the room, an unexpected bit of a pep to his step.
“Nice to see someone else who gets that that bastard needs to die. But if I may make a suggestion, how ‘bout you use a crowbar instead of that old bat? It’d be a bit more… fitting.”
#asks#prompt fill#btw about that kill count number - the dc wiki page on “Joker’s body count” said two numbers 671+ and 185+ (for different continuities?)#so i just added those two together to get a plausible-ish –feeling exact value for “671+”#danny fenton kills the joker#ghost king danny fenton#also i know Bruce is sorta the antagonist here but I’m trying my best to present him fairly#a vigilante having a code against killing people is a good thing! right to fair trial is important!#yeah the Joker probably should be executed but I don’t think Bruce is a bad person for not doing it himself#the legal system exists!! why are you asking the extrajudicial vigilante who specifically has a no-kill rule to do it??#i feel like Joker getting sentenced to death would be the “logical” end to the situation; the Joker is gone and Batman’s code is intact#(you know. were it “real life” and not a comic with the whole “we’re not gonna kill off someone that iconic!” thing)#and also him planning to step in against Danny isn’t about “the joker has to live” it’s about “torture is wrong”#he’s (cautiously) believing of the “legal right” part so if they showed the legal sentence and executed him “cleanly” he’d be fine#(obviously he supports reforming criminals but in the Joker’s case I think he’d accept a fair trial saying “death” as okay)#or in other words Batman isn’t pro-life; he’s pro-choice(-by-the-courts) (/hj)#dp x dc#dpxdc#dc x dp#dcxdp#danny phantom x dc#danny phantom x dc crossover#dpxdc the joker#dpxdc bruce wayne#dpxdc jason todd#also btw i’m sorry danny’s words are so pretentious/OOC feeling (well. at least to me they are)#it feels awkward to me too but it felt kinda necessary to match the vibe of the original thing#maybe he’s sorta sharing his thoughts with some judicial-y ghosts or etc who are influencing it#i did specifically want to imply the victims are affecting him at least a little (echoey voice + “*we* hate him”)#or maybe he’s just been King for a long while and has had time to get a bit more “kingly”

I was in a lift with my sister and two other women and a child in a stroller when the emergency voice came up. The child was pressing the button, the voice was saying "stay calm, help is on the way", the women were a bit upset with the child, they looked apologetic to us.
I spoke directly to the child: are you calm?
Him, with no hesitation: yes
Me: good, that is the important part
We all left the lift laughing a bit. Things will happen, is hard to resist buttons, we have all messed up at one point or another, we all wish we could cry in the middle of the street from time to time. Cut everyone some slack.
Every time a small child starts crying or having a tantrum in my vicinity and I catch the parents glancing at me I’ve started saying “me when…”.
Friend kept trying to tell his crying kindergartener to calm down and relax and the kid growled “I AM relaxed” while visibly tensing every muscle in his body and I was like “oh that’s me at work every day” and we had a chuckle.
Parents look to other adults like “shit are they mad? Do they think my kid is acting like a demon?” And this response is my attempt to say “no. I think your kid is just acting like a human being.”
I WISH I could fling myself on the ground and cry because I experienced a minor inconvenience.

Ok Duke au but only one of the boys fell for user! Maybe it was when she first came to the castle/ house, yk if Price ain't gonna give her love then let him!
Or maybe feelings showed up slowly, finally realizing that maybe he should go finally interact with her grace, seeing as she avoids any interactions with others.
Sorry if it makes no sense, I tried to make the decision of which boy falls only for user up to you, minus price >:)
i didn't want to make this too angsty fjddkcj </33 so it's more of the normal dukedom au
Kyle knows he shouldn’t; it isn’t part of the arrangement.
You were meant to be a formality, a necessity, a woman to fill a role, nothing more. And for a while, you had been just that. Sweet and competent, always carrying yourself with quiet dignity no matter the murmurs of high society. A wife in name, a duchess in duty, a friend of theirs, but never a true part of their world.
John had expected you to remain at a distance, and in return, you had been given a life of luxury and protection. That was the agreement. That was how it should have stayed.
But Kyle should’ve known better.
He should have known the moment you leaned over his shoulder one evening, peering at his bookkeeping notes with genuine interest instead of mere obligation. He should have known the moment you scolded Johnny for burning his hand, or when you’d pressed a cool cloth to Simon's temple after a headache instead of calling for a servant.
He should have known when you stopped seeing them as just your husband’s lovers.
But the real moment of downfall- the moment that shattered any fragile delusion he held- was when you smiled at him.
Not a polite smile, not a passing pleasantry.
A real smile.
It had been late. You had been working over estate documents at the desk, and he had lingered, pretending to tidy up, pretending to have something important to do. And then, you had looked at him, eyes warm, lips curving in a way that made something in his chest lurch.
"You work too hard, Kyle. Come sit down with me ?"
You had said his name. Not 'Mr. Garrick,' not 'the head butler.' Just Kyle. And it wasn’t the first time, but it was the first time it made his heart ache something fierce and longing.
Because it was too soft. Too familiar. Too much like a wife speaking to a husband.
And now, he is here, standing beside John as you make your absurd little request, completely unaware of the way his hand clenches against his side.
You are oblivious, as you always are, so innocent in your own kindness. You do not see the way John’s gaze darkens, the way Kyle stiffens at your words.
"I am merely a bit… unsatisfied."
Your voice wavers slightly at the admission, and Kyle wonders- if he had been the one to claim you, if he had been the one to hold you at night, would you ever have been unsatisfied?
He bites the inside of his cheek and looks away, even as John’s fingers tighten around his glass.
Something tells him neither of them will let you remain unsatisfied for long.
But he knows the truth.
Even if you are claimed, even if you are made theirs, it will not be by some stable boy.
And that knowledge alone fills him with smug satisfaction.
He doesn’t miss the way John’s grip tightens around his glass, and he knows that if the other two were here as well, Simon's jaw would have tensed and Johnny would have lost all his amusing charm. You are oblivious, of course- always so sweetly naive, thinking you can simply ask for something like this and have it granted without consequence. But this? This will never happen.
John would never agree to this.
And Kyle is relieved. Relieved that your foolish little request will be swiftly discarded. Relieved that you will stay exactly where you belong- here, with them, under their watchful eyes.
You don’t even realize what you’ve done, do you? You think this arrangement is still just convenience, that they merely tolerate you. But Kyle sees it- the way even Simon looks at you during dances, the way Johnny slips you extra sweets as if bribing you into affection, the way John has begun watching you more intently, possessively.
You’ve wormed your way into their hearts, tangled yourself so deeply into their lives that they can’t ignore you anymore.
And Kyle?
Kyle is pleased.
Because it means you are theirs, whether you realize it or not. And no matter how much you pout over John’s rejection, you’ll never be anyone else’s. Because even if he'd been the first to fall for you, he did not need to worry about the others not liking you as well. And now, he will not need worry about anyone else taking you from them.
Not now, and not ever.

i think a crucial part of any online friendship or connection is understanding that we all have lives outside of this space, and it isn't possible to always be present, to always be at the disposal of your online connections. that doesn't mean these people are any less important in your life. they're simply a piece of a much larger picture. a snapshot from your daily experiences. sometimes all we have time for is a hello, how are you, I love you.
sometimes, we can chat at length and type paragraph upon paragraph. sometimes, we talk on the phone, or we send letters or gifts through the mail.
sometimes, we don't talk at all for a few days. or a few weeks. and I think this ought to be the norm, you know? you still mean something to me. I still enjoy your friendship, as little as we speak. we are busy people. we are human. we have hardship. we are busy. we need to eat and rest and go for walks and laugh with our mothers and mow the lawn and see good shows. we cannot possibly do that when there's an unspoken expectation of always being available. it's not healthy for anyone involved, and it will almost always certainly lead to feelings of resentment when one or both parties doesn't feel as if they're being heard or understood.
(i say all of this for no reason in particular, aside from the fact that I was thinking this morning about a couple of previous online friendships where I felt as if I had a responsibility to be there for another person even more than I was present for my family or myself. I think i was as much to blame as the other person when it came to lack of boundaries and unspoken expectations, but I'm so thankful that I've been able to see those situations for what they were and move ahead and finally learn something from some life experiences. I always learn lessons the hard way- multiple times in multiple iterations- but I always feel as if I come away with a profound, renewed sense of self and an understanding of the human condition, deeper than i ever have before.)
tl;dr I am grateful for whatever capacity you can maintain our friendship in. thank you. I love you.

Solas repeatedly explains that things are not so black and white and the fandom's response to the nature of his relationships with Mythal and Felassan etc are weirdly reminiscent of what he finds frustrating about modern Thedas.
He explains repeatedly that the distinction between spirit and demon is not that black and white, that there's always an element of choice involved. Likewise, he cannot be so easily defined as wisdom or pride. He is a mix of both and will lean into one or the other depending on how he is perceived. Over and over again he tries to make people see that it's our expectations that create the dynamics of our relationships and therefore how we perceive others. If we respect others in the way they would like to be respected, you can come closer to an authentic and equal partnership.
Likewise, he says that he is not defined by his body, a point Trick said came from their own thoughts around their gender and figuring out that they were nonbinary. Solas chose a male body, seemingly because he had to choose one, not necessarily because he felt like a man. In fact he repeatedly explains that he sees himself as a spirit i.e. genderless
The romance or friendship with the Inquisitor is special because it is the first time that he's branching out of his comfort zone of bonding like a spirit bonds (reflecting) and trying to bond like a person does instead (meeting them on their level, sharing his heart with them and being vulnerable). This is why one of my favourite lines from him is 'You are unique. In all Thedas I never expected to find someone who could draw my attention from the Fade. You have become important to me.' This is the first time he has fallen in love, the first time he has actually relished being a person and not a spirit, because he's able to be with Lavellan this way. He can't fall in love as a spirit as spirits don't bond that way, as is repeatedly stated throughout his story. I personally think the relationships he forged before Inquisition were all done using the attachment style of spirits, which is apparently quite abstract, and not as a man, which is more understandable to mortals and us, the player.
What's especially pertinent about this is that says this line right before he's about to abandon his plan to tear down the Veil by telling the Inquisitor the truth, a plan that symbolises his attachment to his spirit-self and the world he inadvertently destroyed. Once he does that, there's no coming back; likewise, once you take a body, you cannot go back. When you fall in love in a way that makes all the parts of you line up perfectly for the first time, you can't go back.
What is so beautiful to me about Solas's love story with Lavellan is that we witness Solas in a chrysalis state between spirithood and personhood, past and present (and future), on the precipice of metamorphosis. At the very moment he's about to take that final leap like The Fool his romance card is based on, he backs out, because of guilt, trauma, grief, duty and the rest.
Even with a befriended Inquisitor, he bonds with them on their level. He doesn't try to elevate them to his level; he comes to theirs. He is the opposite of Pride in their friendship, which is why he respects them. They allow him to be himself.
It's because of this change in nature that I think Solas and Lavellan's love story is so compelling--Solas's world quite literally changes when he falls in love, as he states multiple times, in various ways. I mean, look at the way he needs time to think about a potential relationship with Lavellan. He probably knows that it's a bad idea, but at this point he has no idea how much of a bad idea it is with respect to his plans because he has no idea that it will make him want to give it up. If he had, he never would've entertained the idea of a relationship. His romance card in Veilguard explains that he didn't know what it would mean to fall in love, because he's never actually been in love. He has loved countless friends and companions, like Mythal and Felassan, but he has not fallen for someone like he falls for a romanced Lavellan; Lavellan, who is deified like he was deified, who sees him for who he is (as much as they can) and doesn't shun him or punish him for not doing as he was told like a good lapdog.
Once again there's more of the irony that pervades Solas's story at every turn. It's in falling for a mortal that Solas becomes a more complete person, more of the man he says he is and not the god others have revered him as. That is the deepest change of all and the one that reflects his earlier statements on the delineation between spirit and demon not being so black and white, and involving a level of choice. Solas chooses to be more of a man in a similar way to how Cole chooses to become more human. He knows deep down that he's already in too deep to stop, and this is why, despite knowing he has a job to do and a duty to fulfil, he leaves clues for the Inquisition to follow him. Because he's already gone too far, and now he can't go back, and deep down he wants to be stopped, like Varric said. Solas, as a former spirit, doesn't simply feel love, he embodies it, and so he is helpless to that emotion. Of course he left clues.
Because that is what falling in love meant for Solas. It meant going into that chrysalis state and emerging as a totally new being with an experience that is quite far removed from his spirit self and all the limitations that come with that. Mythal and Felassan etc predate this experience, they're intrinsically tied to his nature as a spirit and then as a manifested spirit. While he loved them, that love was tangled up with a simpler nature, and the love he shares with Lavellan is coming from a totally new place. For that reason, the two can't really be compared.

i wish having to remind someone something three or five or fifteen times or however many it takes until they remember it on their own was more destigmatized within the framework of disability accomodations
like i understand the emotional significance given to the act of remembering, i have myself have had the kneejerk reaction that maybe i'm not as important to someone as they say i am if they forget something i asked of them or told them. i get it. but that's like. a societal expectation that isnt necessarily true, you know.much like eye contact to mean you are listening or a smile to mean you are friendly. like, yeah, of course an asshole who isn't listening to you might not make eye contact, but that doesn't mean that every single time someone isn't making eye contact it means they are an asshole.
to me disposition is much more important than memory, especially in the realm of boundaries and cohabitation, like: let's say you don't like it when your partner puts their shoes on the bed. extremely reasonable thing to ask them not to do, and something that, if not done, would very quickly become a point of contention because them continuing to do the thing you asked them not to is interpreted as a dismissal of your feelings and a violation of a reasonable boundary. and i know a lot of people themselves already struggle putting up boundaries and enforcing them and are extremely reactive to anything that can be interpreted as a boundary being crossed, and this can be super hard to deal with. but like. disabilities ARE hard to deal with, you know, they are frustrating and they might slow you down or inconvenience you, and that's just part of the deal! is it really an accomodation if the line is drawn at whatever arbitrary point someone decides they're done accommodating? do you walk alongside a person on crutches for three blocks and then are like, ok, i've accommodated you enough, time to go at my pace now?
and yes, yes, i know "i forgot" or "i didn't know" can be used to truly harm someone else in a number of infinitely nuanced scenarios. context clues, people. to me that's where disposition comes in and separates "literally struggles to remember" from "disrespecting and pushing boundary", and i think that separation, albeit fuzzy for people who strongly correlate memory and respect, can be learned?
if my partner was like, "hey, don't put your shoes on the bed!" then a respectful disposition towards their boundaries would immediately make me go, "oh no! sorry i forgot! here, i will stop doing it immediatly, and if necessary amend the damage of me forgetting (in this analogy, washing the sheets)". and if this has to happen thirteen times before i remember on my own, i would feel truly bad about it because i'm letting my loved one down even though it's something i legitimately can't control. i don't know! it's the "if you cared, you would remember" unstoppable force vs "if you cared, you'd cut me some slack for not remembering" immovable object, it's hard. like thats what i mean by context clues, what is more likely: that a person who in every other way has shown up for you has suddenly become toxic/selfish/abusive specifically about shoes on the bed, or that they struggle to remember?
i don't know man. the way i see it, ultimately it's a lot more feasible to adjust your expectations of what someone loving you and caring about you will look like and how it shows up in their behavior, than it is to literally force yourself to remember something. and my memory issues are not even that bad! after the fifth or sixth reminder something will generally stick around (unless it's a situation that does not happen often, in which case the large stretches of time in between might hinder my progress), and like someone might just decide the rest of the Me is not worth the trouble, and that's their prerogative, but i do think it says more about them than it does about me.
everyone's always up for disability rights until it becomes inconvenient or clashes with their idea of what "good behavior" should look like. like i can't help but think that if this is something that *i* struggle with socially, i can't imagine what people who have a legitimately debilitating memory disability, who may need to be reminded forever, feel like every day of their damn lives

DIRTY PLEASURE 003.
ᯓ Paige Bueckers x Reader x Caitlin Clark

KINDLY CHECK THIS OUT FOR THE PARTS, SUMMARY AND WARNING > SERIES MASTERLIST
waking up the to the sensation of the light behind your eyelid, the sound of the ac the only source of sound and the warmth to each of your side, slowly fluttering your eyelids, stretching as you felt a lip brush on your neck. you completely opened your eyes to see paige sleeping peacefully infront of you, meanwhile caitlin was behind you.
the affection you are feeling right now somehow feels right and wrong, supposing the rumors you have heard about this two, you cant help but ignore them as the comfort your being given is something you would be longing right now, the feeling of their touch and the way they would treat you well.
but following the event that happend last night, especially when you remembered it right at this moment you slowly sat up careful not to wake them up but failed as caitlin groaned, and paige slowly opening her eyes. the sudden shift of coldness might have waked them up so you cursed your self.
"awake already?" paige asked still obviously drowsy meanwhile caitlin rubbed her eyes pulling you by the waist to lay back down.
"sorry for waking you up." you apologized and caitlin hummed "no worries pretty girl.." paige cooed and you mentally slapped yourself, you have gathered the thoughts of being played by them all over again, at this point you should be standing up and walking out the door and never have contact with them again.
but what can we say? you know yourself well and you know that your liking the attention your being given, its a win for you since they both are perfect. and if the time comes when they would be leaving you, then you cry right? but thats not important right. because you know what they say 'embrace the moment before it turns into a disaster'.
being deep in thought you havent noticed caitlins hands sliding underneath your shirt, technically her shirt, your breath hitched squeezing your eyes shut, paige had taken a notice at this and she pressed her lips on your neck.
"so early in the morning and being dirty..." she scoffed you elicit a whimper from the sudden call out, and caitlin responded by gently pinching your skin making you whince.
"right? what a whore.." she clicked her tounge mocking a dissapointed tone, and you cant even bring your self to speak up, the lingering touch of their fingers lurking on your skin has you dazed and confused.
"i need...to go home." the situation becoming more and more overwhelming has you catching your breath and stumbling words over words, the control they are taking from you is insane.
"why baby? dont wanna stay any longer?" paige whispered to your ears causing a shiver down your spine, shaking your head. "thats not it.." caitlin scoffed smacking your thighs making you gasp "or dont tell me you dont want this?" caitlin state making you quickly raise both your hands up in defense, paige mocked a shocked gasp and pout.
"is that true baby?" you groaned, feeling the weight of the dissapointment coming from the both of them made you guilty. "no! i want this!" you exclaimed earning a amused smirk from them.
"yeah?" caitlin hummed and started kissing behind your ear, meanwhile paige is currently enhaling your scent her hands rubbing you thighs
"just scared..." you muttured and caitlin looked at you. "scared of what baby?" paige asked gaining her attention. "well i... never had sex before..." you confessed feeling shame wash over your body as if you have just revealed the most embarassing thing.
caitlin and paige looked at each other for a brief moment, you dont know if they are either amused or dumbfounded, but their response left you sighing in relief. "so its your first time?" paige asked moving a strand of hair behind your ear, you nodded biting your lip. "fuck, all for us? your first time?" caitlin cursed and sat up the excitement wash over the both of them.
"dont be scared my love, we'll be gentle, promise." paige assured you and you looked down hesitating while caitlin waited for your approval. "dont worry babygirl.. we will take care of you." caitlin added obviously feeling unpatient as her fingers was tugging on the hem of your shirt.
"okay.." you breathed out and caitlin didn't waste a second disregarding your shirt. throwing them across the room, you felt the cold air hit your body as your breath shivered, paige made its way between your thighs pushing them apart each other looking up at you.
you whimpered when paige slid your shorts down, the air hitting your bare cunt making you curl your toes. "so fucking beautiful." paige whispered to your cunt and caitlin gripped on your jaw leaning in for a rough and deep kiss, you gasped thru the kiss when you felt paige's tounge lick a strip.
you rolled your eyes back, the kissing getting more rougher and teeths softly grazing each other, caitlin started to play with your teeths squeezing them like its some type of stress ball.
"aww look at you..." caitlin let out a mocking laugh at your screwed face. "didn't even start, yet you look like we fucked you for hours." you groaned feeling annoyed.
"hey paige, should we strap her?" caitlin looked over at paige and paige lifted her self up frowning. "but its her first time?" paige looked over at you trying to gain some kind of approval from you. "she will adjust, trust." paige rolled her eyes and leaned down again this time sucking your cunt making you arch your back suddenly.
caitlin looked over at you and smiled your moans being blisfull for her ears. "fuck, love that." she mutter leaning down to kiss your neck to your jaw, meanwhile paige was eating you like its her last meal, you hips bucking up each time she would suck on them.
"aww fuck!" you cursed jerking your hips closer to her mouth, meanwhile caitlin observed the way your body responses to deal with you later when shes going to fuck you.
paige stopped making you whine and she quickly shut you up. "patience babe." she growled and caitlin reached out for her strap, once she got it she bucked it up to her waist, while paige starts to insert to fingers seemingly trying to widen up your insides, it was easy to slide in due to your wetness. you let out a loud dazed moan your back arching "look so good like this baby..." she cooed curling her fingers making drool run to the corner of your lips.
once caitlin was set, paige shifted her self next to you her arms wrapping on your waist while her lips are brushing near your ears, pecking your cheeks each time "gotta relax baby okay?"paige assured you nodded and looked over at caitlin whos looking at your cunt while she was holding onto her cock. she rubbed the tip on your cunt making you whimper wanting more, she looked at you smirking rubbing it deeper the teasing being obvious. "please caitlin.." you whined out and she raised her eyebrows. "please what?" caitlin asked mocking a confused tone but the smirk on her mouth never fucking left. "gotta be more specific baby." paige states her fingers busy squeezing your boobs "what a dumb slut, cant even beg right." caitlin scoffed elicting a whimper out of you, her words shot straight to your core, and before you know it, she slid inside you not letting you adjust to the length.
luckily, paige was beside you holding your hand, while you gripped hard on it, she gave it soft kisses "good girl...fucking take it." she cooed to your ear.
caitlin leaned down as she slammed harder inside you. "look so fucking perfect with my cock.." she clicked her tounge following a curse under her breath slamming onto you relentlessly while paige was whispering sweet nothings to your ear.
caitlin continued her steady and rough pace completely turned on by the way your voice is gagging and being really loud. she cant help but to fuck you deeper wanting to hear more reactions from you.
"more!" you moaned out loud and her hands reached a handful of your hair grabbing them tightly and she leaned down staring directly at you eyes darkening "shh shut up and let me do the work yeah?" you gazed up at her and nodded.
you felt the bed creaking beneath you and caitlins lips brushing on your neck, feeling her breath hitch, yet paige on the other side was enjoying the sounds your making while her hands are rubbing your clit, you closed your eyes due to the pleasure your feeling.
But what you haven't notice was, caitlin was taking out her phone, hitting the red button and leaning it to your level basically your whole body and face being shown while shes fucking you, you fluttured your eyes. "what..??" you managed to speak out and paige hushed you. "its your first time baby, gotta make them memorable right?" you tried to catch your breath and caitlin wrapped her arms around your shoulder thrusting in deeper making you groan. "is it okay pretty girl?" caitlin whispered its more like an assurance and not and question, before you could answer, she thrusted in deeper continuesly slamming inside you loud mewls coming out your mouth, unable to form a word and mind blank. "fuck yes yes!" you managed to shout "im gonna cum!" you arched your back toes curling, caitlin buried her face on your neck feeling her breath unsteady. with a final thrust you felt your release your whole body relaxing, caitlin felt the wetness near her strap so she slowed down. meanwhile paige was now holding the phone which she have stopped recording.
caitlin kissed your jaw to your neck as you continued catching your breath. "fuckk... so wet.." she muttured as she reached her fingers to swim in your soaking cunt.
"look at how wet she is.." caitlin grunted and paige smacked her in the shoulder "your not gonna let me get my turn?" caitlin scoffed rolling her eyes "shut the fuck up shes tired" paige groaned burying her face on your neck "next time when i fuck you, your gonna be shouting my name, okay?" she whispered to your ear and you nodded still dazed from your climax eyes closed "oh trust me, paige fucks like a turtle." caitlin spat, assuming that she seen how she fucks other girls.
"oh fuck you" paige groaned earning a smirk from you. "dont listen to her baby or else i'll show you how i really fuck." caitlin removed her strap and layed next to you kissing your cheeks.
"did you feel good?" caitlin asked looked over at you, you opened your eyes to meet her gaze and you smiled nodding. "good."
timeskip 3 weeks later, the three of you are always close, its either the both of them inviting you to their dorm, spending time with you, all the attention is given towards you, they would spend money on you, giving you gifts, making sure you eaten, and you watching them practice everytime while you do some few homeworks in the bench.
and aliyah has taken a notice on this one, she was furious. she felt betrayed. you still spend your time with her whenever your in class anyway but you cant help it when paige and caitlin are always clinging to you.
"hey...are you ignoring me?" you leaned closer to aliyah while she was writing down in her notes, she gave you a side glare and continued writing.
"woah, whats wrong with you?" you scoffed frowning, you are annoyed at this point now and she gave you a disbelief chuckle "whats wrong with me?" she repeated shaking her head.
"you know what your a such a selfish cunt!" she shouted earning a stare from the others, the cafeteria got quiet for a second and later being filled with noise again.
"what did you say?" you raised your eyebrows huffing your chest. "oh stop being all innocent! your really hanging out with those two? gosh even after the issues they done?" you rolled your eyes jaw clenching, truth be told, you didn't believe the issue aside from the screenshots, you have convinced your self that it was just someone making it up, because the fact that the two of those person are literally perfect and popular, theres no doubt that they wont have any haters, you bet its made up by a boy too, yuck.
"they are just friends, its not like im fucking them!" you are quick to swallow your words but gained composure and aliyah laughed. "oh trust me, i bet they did already." you scowled shaking your head you dont understand her her tone doesn't seem concern but jealous ,sudddenly you saw paige in the corner of your eye walking towards the both of you, aliyah's jaw dropped and frowned looking more annoyed as paige sat down next to you. "hey guys. whats with this tension?" paige looked over at aliyah and back to you "bitch." aliyah muttured gathering her things and walking out. "whats up with her?" paige raised her eyebrows and you scoffed. "i dont know... she just crashed out and called me a selfish cunt. just because i was hanging out with the two of you." this was the problem, you didn't keep your mouth shut, but you payed no mind because in your mind, paige and caitlin are always there for you, but they took this literally.
"what?" paige responded unsure of what you just said. you sighed putting your hands up. "i know right. its messed up." you looked up at paige her eyes never leaving your her eyebrows furrowed. "i'll talk to her later." you muttured and looked away and paige was quick to hold your chin making you look at her shaking her head.
"no dont, you didn't do anything wrong, thats just bullshit." paige was right, you dont owe a single thing to aliyah anyway, shes acting like she owns your life or what.
"ignore it okay? it will be fine." you gave her a soft smile and nodded. "okay."
"what are you doing after this?" paige asked and you looked up the ceiling trying to relist some things "well...probably just going to sleep in, im really tired." paige nodded and you collected your things "bye paige." she smiled as you made your way to your next class.

I think it's important for me to share that I ONLY got out of Conservative Purgatory for three reasons:
1) We got treated for ADHD. Part of the hell of ADHD is the *inconsistent* ability to *appropriately* connect cause to effect. Sure, we have pattern recognition skills, but before treatment, our ability to see the *source* of that pattern is slipshod at best.
Once I got treated? It was so much easier to see *what wasn't working* in real life.
2) We were in poverty. Despite doing everything the conservatives said we should do, we were constantly scraping the bottom of the financial barrel to survive. I just told my husband this morning: "If we hadn't had so much financial difficulty, I'd have had NO REASON to believe any of their bullshit doctrine wasn't true. But, we followed them, to the letter, in good faith, & it didn't work."
3) We had a child with a disability. Conservatives don't give a flowering heavenly fuck about disabled people. Their response to our struggles, drawn deep from their wells of wisdom, 🙄 was: "If you can't handle it, you shouldn't have had any kids."
First of all, fuck them.
Second of all, our child deserved so much better, & needed round-the-clock, attentive, intelligent, care.
Guess what? You can't give them that if you're working multiple jobs, just to survive.
Conservatives had NO solutions for these problems. They only had ideology, & high-minded ideals, that did absolutely nothing to help anyone live through the nightmare we were enduring.
All of these factors collided in my own heart, in the two years before Trump was elected to his first term. I couldn't believe that conservatives were *sacrificing* their supposedly high-minded ideals, for this rapist nutjob.
BUT THEY DID.
In the end, they only thing they protect & support is their own power. The ones who cared about ANYTHING else left during Trump's first term.
For the ones who are left? This power is being wrenched away from them, & they don't know what to do.
I don't know if I have the same level of sympathy that I would have had for them 10 years ago. They SAW what he did. They lived through over a million people dying of COVID, & the insurrection of January 6th.
All I can do, at this point, is protect the people I love. I spent over 10 years trying to convince people that conservatism had turned evil.
They only changed their minds when conservatives ripped their own lives apart. 💔
This is an interesting thing. Looks like testimonies of people who left the MAGA movement- how they got into it and why.
Leaving a cult is really hard, so I really respect the people who are speaking from this place.
