"Sharing Snacks" : An Octonauts Comic!!

(+ important note at end)

Context :

Polar bears are naturally solitary creatures but sometimes they can come into contact with others at a food source, most commonly beached whale carcasses, which several can eat off of at a time (largest recorded number was over 180 AT ONE TIME). When this happens, the bear will walk up to whoever they wish to share the food with, and they perform this little ritual!

They walk up, circle the other and the food source, touch noses, and then share (if they are accepted)! It's adorable to think about, and I love it so much!!

If you couldn't tell, the polar bears are my favorites, iltsm 🩵🩵🩵

Now, an important note :

I feel like such a hypocrite whining about not having any motivation and then making an entire comic. I genuinely feel kinda shitty, but it is what it is, I guess. Motivation hits when it hits, and this comic was fun to make, so whatever, I do what I want 🤷‍♀️

He probably enjoys occasionally floating around in the ocean as a fulfilling pass time, looking at the clouds (or stars) and just finding some peace in alone time (but likely has tried to invite others to come float about with him, most often manages to get Peso to join him).

If at some water park, he would probably most enjoy that river ride where you take a leisurely ride on a float on very calm waters.

Falls asleep in uncomfortable places from time to time, often having zero recollection of how he got there (canon).

Is a sticker collector and avid fan of cool logos.

Treats plants and animals alike and doesn’t ever dare to even harm a bit of grass, sometimes being overcome with sympathy for the food he’s eating, but getting over it soon enough.

Likes to occasionally make models of sea creatures out of clay and dries them patiently in his room, being keen to not let Kwazii anywhere near them until they’re dry as he doesn’t want the fragile details he put in to his work all smudged and destroyed.

Secretly enjoys watching SpongeBob even though he often yells at the screen about different inaccuracies it has.

Has a radio which he plays before sleep as a specific channel plays the same few songs almost without change and the frequencies lull him to sleep.

Tends to rarely watch his back and often bumps into the crew whenever others decides to walk around the octopod.

When delirious or particularly tired tends to talk almost indefinitely about whatever his mind can muster up, often being able to ramble for hours without a single coherent explanation coming out from him.

At night he dreams of being various sea creatures.

Has a jellyfish shaped night light !!

Sometimes looks at the moon longingly as he daydreams of one day visiting it and seeing the sights all for himself.

P.S I won’t be making any age/sexuality/show related headcanons but rather stuff that fits their personality. ALSO THEY ALL HAVE AUTISM. ALSO THEY ALL HUM TUNES.
