The mug is MOSTLY black where it's glazed with some whisps of bright blue so it turned out darker than anticipated but I kinda like it, and the unglazed section is nice if you're the kind of person that likes to mess with texture when you're thinking

After three seasons, the last episode of Star Trek (TOS) aired on June 3, 1969. The series ran for 80 episodes. The episode was originally meant to air on March 28, but was pushed back due to coverage of the death of Dwight D Eisenhower. In the episode, Captain Kirk's (William Shatner) ex-lover Doctor Janice Lester (Sandra Smith) not only took over control of the USS Enterprise but took over his body as well. Okay, I swear I'll shut up after this. I love the music. Do not get me wrong, I adore the music for all the Favreau/Filoni shows, Ludwig Göransson's score and everything that's evolved from it is killer.

But they're using the Rebels music, and that music somehow has a way of going straight to my core. I started tearing up just hearing the first strains of Ahsoka's theme even though I was prepared for it. But when Hera's started? When Sabine's beautiful theme (that's never gotten an official release beyond the Trials of the Darksaber episode guide on StarWars.com) started? And those brief teases of Thrawn and Ezra? I'm choking up just thinking about it. My autistic brain latches on to music so tightly and these melodies bring back such good feelings and I'm so happy they got the Kiners back. I don't know why I was so afraid they wouldn't, but I'm just so relieved they did.

If they never put out official soundtracks for Seasons 3 and 4 of Rebels, we at least have the inevitable Ahsoka soundtrack coming. I'll take it. 🤣🤣😭😭

observation: despite it being pi day and not in fact the ides of march, ides of march is trending #1 and pi day is trending #9

hypothesis: the people of tumblr are all nerds, but not math nerds. history nerds. the math nerds are off being smart and doing shit, and we’re joking about murdering a man who died over two thousand years ago.

conclusion: we are superior to the math nerds and absolutely correct for this.

i think… both football players…like a1 being a quarterback or a running back and being like wow american football is so Fun and Easy and u pan to a2 as like a left guard or something just fucking up anyone that even gets remotely close to a1
