I wonder where the claim "Hinata is the one who understands Naruto the most/the best" comes from. I've seen many Hinata/Naruhina say that... and I know the need to make Hinata more important in Naruto's life/manga definitely plays a role in it. But still, Hinata is never allowed to understand him outside of the vision she has of him in the beginning of the manga.

In the chunin exams, we are told by Hinata that she identifies with him because like her, he's considered like a loser. But, she also admires him because he never gives up and constantly tries to better himself. And that's her inspiration. So, I'm going to make something clear there, that's not something very special to her. Basically, Lee could tell from a few interactions that Naruto was seen as a loser and he refused to be looked down. Something he can also understand quite well, since he's in a similar (even worse) situation.

But what did she understand outside of it ? That he doesn't abandon his friends ? Yes thank you, it's made clear by Naruto and the narrative to e v e r y o n e (from Obito to the Konoha 11 to every unnamed shinobi) during the war arc. Is it this scene where she says to Naruto that she can recognises him because of his eyes the cement of this claim ? I'm sorry, but I need more than that.

Hinata likes the bright side, his never give up attitude, his smile and well (idk) his kindness towards her (I think ?). But that's all she sees/understands. (You're free to interprete it the way you want. I just state what everyone would see with open eyes.)

When did she get his loneliness ? It's basically Sasuke's role, not Hinata. What about his struggles as a jinchuriki ? Enter Gaara and Killer B. His teammates (yes Sakura and Kakashi) are actually allowed to witness it, to see a bit of the horror that he's going throught because of his status.

Maybe his need to save Sasuke, the importance of their bond in his life ? Yeah sorry, but Sai did more efforts than her to understand the love Naruto has for Sasuke and Sai is said to be ignorant of feelings. When the Konoha 11 confront Naruto about it at the end of the Kage summit arc, she doesn't even question him. But her teammate Kiba does. Neji does, who is also allowed to support Naruto's need to save Sasuke in part 1.

Oh well, maybe she understands how depressed he was after Jiraiya death ? It was Shikamaru's role, not Hinata's. And Iruka was the other one who tried to console him. In this part of the arc, she's nowhere to be seen. I will not continue more, but I'm sure there's more examples of it.

So now, I'm asking again... where does this claim come from ? Because the Naruto's manga doesn't give the answer and neither Boruto. In the Boruto's movie, it's Sasuke who talks about Naruto's struggles as a child to Boruto, not Hinata (his mother). I know the anime tried with the "Naruto was a problem child... But I always thought he was cool" or something along those lines with Hinata, but that's kinda... shallow ?

SasuSaku. He didn't mean to kill that man. He had simply reacted to being attacked. And now Konoha is forced to hunt down the rogue members of Team 7, or risk open war. Eventual NaruHina.

If there had ever any been birds nearby, something had killed them. Naruto wondered briefly if all inn keepers owned cats as he watched Hinata with fascination. She was waking up, and it was the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen. He wanted to tell her everything – from the day of Orochimaru's attack on the leaf to his own fears concerning both Sasuke and Sakura. She mumbled a sleepy "ohayou" and her eyes widened at the frown on his face. He kissed her softly and started to talk, but she cut him off.

Hinata shook her head. "You don't have to tell me, Naruto-kun."

"I want to," he said, gripping her tighter to his chest. "I need to."

She smiled and took his hand. "O-okay."

Naruto had never spoken the words before, not even when he talked with Sasuke and Sakura about what happened. The Uchiha clan had been put in its place when they tried to take over the clan, most of them killed the night an unseen figure slipped into the compound – what little that did survive died when Orochimaru attacked, using the bijuu (except for Sasuke of course, who had been with his team mates at the time). It had been a jinchuriki sure, but during the battle, Naruto had personally witnessed the ease with which he'd transformed, the grim determination in his eyes ‒ he had been complicit in the attack from the beginning.

Naruto told Hinata how, shortly after the enemy forces were driven out of Konoha, the host of the Rokubi had been killed by his own team mates to prevent the leaf from capturing him. The memory of that boy shuddering and convulsing was enough to turn Naruto's stomach at the time. But unlike Sasuke and Sakura, Naruto felt no anger toward the jinchuriki. And as it turned out, Hinata knew about the Kyuubi – she'd been told by Tsunade when the Hokage had agreed to let her act as the liaison to Kitsúne.

"They'll hate me," Naruto said, his eyes flickering over to the wall that separated him from his sleeping team mates.

"Why?" Hinata asked. "I don't think‒"

"It was hard," he interrupted, "growing up, not realising why people hated me. But that boy – the Rokubi host – he'd been abandoned by his village, and all but thrown to the wolves. It was no wonder he was so angry."

"How do you know he was?"

Naruto's eyes fell to his hands, remembering that they were entwined with hers. "I spoke to him, tried to get him to understand what he was doing was wrong."

"And he didn't listen?"

He gave her a wry smile. "He did – it was another reason they killed him. He stopped himself from wiping out the leaf."

"You saved everyone," Hinata realised. "But, why did you leave? You said last night it was to follow Sasuke and Sakura, b-but…" She bit her bottom lip, staring him in the face. "Maybe it was because of that boy – to find out where O-Orochimaru went, and stop him f-from doing that to anyone else ever again."

Naruto grinned. "I knew there was a reason I loved you… oh." He broke off when she blushed furiously.

"Y-you l-love me Naruto-kun?"

The truth was that it had just slipped out, but once he stopped and thought about it, Naruto was sure there was something there. He felt happy, lying next to her, comfortable opening up to her; his heart clenched at the thought that they would never see each other again. But he couldn't give her what she deserved. He needed to stop being selfish.

But, he had just said the words. Naruto couldn't bring himself to make the light in her eyes go out – she looked so happy, so hopeful. He grinned. "Of course!"

He just wished he could tell, from the hammering of his heart, whether he'd just made a horrible mistake.

It was still early when Hinata and Naruto filed into the room next to them; Sasuke gave her a strange look at the way she was practically beaming. Her thoughts circled the previous night, how she was still sore, and then moved to everything Naruto had told her this morning. She hoped he wasn't in for a nasty surprise if and when he told his friends about the Kyuubi.

"Okay," Sakura said, moving the conversation along – which had started as Naruto rousing on Sasuke for turning his weird looks at Hinata into a knowing smirk. "Let's get started, shall we?"

Hinata told them where the Hokage wanted to meet them, before remembering her conversation with Neji.

"Here," she said, handing a scroll over to Sakura. "Neji-niisan gave me this to give to you."

Sakura took it gingerly. "Me?"

"All of you," the Hyuuga said, noting the furrowed eyebrows of the Uchiha at this revelation. "But you have the better control over chakra Sakura-chan, and he suggested this after talking with the Hokage."

"What is it?" The pinkette asked, peering at it cautiously.

"A medical scroll."

"Huh?" Sakura's head snapped up to look at Hinata. "Why?"

"In case the plan doesn't go well and we won't be able to return to Konoha," Sasuke surmised, and the Hyuuga nodded to him.

"Didn't you two say you wanted to buy some supplies before we went?" Naruto asked pointedly.

"Yep," Sakura stuffed the scroll in her backpack. "Come on Sasuke-kun, let's give them their space." She smiled at Hinata. "Goodbye Hinata."

Sasuke gave Hinata one last, swift, calculating look before taking Sakura's hand and leaving the room, without looking back. Naruto offered them a small smile of gratitude before turning back to Hinata. She embraced him quickly, burying her face in his shoulder. "I'll miss you Naruto-kun."

"We'll see each other again."

But just in case, he swept her into his arms and smothered the startled Hyuuga. It was a farewell kiss, a goodbye hug and because it might be the last time he would hold her, Naruto took the time to make love to her again. There was no-one else around, they were behind closed doors, and he just couldn't help himself.

The weight of the previous weeks, and their last conversation with Hinata nagged at the pinkette. Kitsúne travelled in silence to the appointed area, arriving a day earlier than expected. The upcoming conversation with Lady Tsunade made her incredibly nervous, and she kept thinking about that scroll. Why would she just give it up like that? It didn't make sense.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the setting up of their camp less than fifteen minutes from the rendezvous site, and Sakura decided she'd worry about the scroll later. She tried to sleep next to Sasuke, but he rebuked her, taking the first watch instead and ignoring her. He was mad again, and that in and of itself was pissing her off. They'd argued over this before, to no avail, so she just left him be.

Come morning, Naruto decided to scout out the meeting place, leaving Sakura with a still annoyed Uchiha.

"What is your problem?" She snapped, rubbing her eyes from lack of sleep – worrying over him always did that to her.

"Hn."

"Answer me Sasuke."

"Nothing is my problem: stop worrying."

"Is it me? Did I do something?" He didn't answer and Sakura clenched her fists, watching him pack his bag. "You don't… you don't love me, do you?"

Those were the scariest words for her to think, let alone put into words. They had sex, they clung to each other in their mutual need for comfort, and when it came down to it, they were more in tune with each other than either could boast to be with Naruto. But did that equate to love, really? Sasuke frowned at her, realising there was more to the tears rolling down her face than her fear of his true emotions.

"You don't think I love you enough to stay with you if this goes sideways."

It wasn't a question. Sasuke said the words, stunned by the implications behind them. He wasn't the type to open up to others, in fact the act itself required more effort from him than even the day he'd activated his Sharingan, so long ago now. It made him miss being a Konoha ninja.

Sakura stared at her hands, terrified by his words as well. He forced his muscles to relax and lifted Sakura's head, his fingers snaking under her chin.

"I love you," he said softly, her eyes widening. "I love you more than anything Sakura. I'm so sorry I've never told you that." The tears came faster as he pulled her close. "I should have told you that."

"It's okay Sasuke," she half-sobbed into his chest, her arms wrapping around his waist – all her anger was now gone. "You don't have to."

"No, it's not – you deserve more than I've given you." He kissed the top of her head. "I promise I won't be selfish anymore."

Her head snapped up and a look of sheer panic crossed her features. "Wha‒"

"Oi, love birds!" Naruto called out, his obnoxious voice preceding his burst into the clearing. "Open your eyes – we have incoming!"

The Kumo ninja chasing the blonde knucklehead amounted to one Shinobi without a mask, and four with – as far as Sasuke was concerned, there was no reason to worry.

"Come here to die?" He asked, smirking at the blonde – he was obviously the leader.

"Nah," the man said. "We just came here for the nine tails."

Sakura glanced at Naruto as he twitched.

'Nine tails?'

"Whatever," Sasuke said, drawing his ōdachi, holding it so that the tip of the blade pointed straight at the man's throat. "You're no match for us."

The blonde cloud ninja sneered at him. "Spoken like true Konoha dogs."

Several of the ANBU darted in, positioning themselves between Sasuke and Naruto, effectively cutting them off from each other.

Sakura took a step backward as the one in front of her charged. He was smirking or grinning triumphantly behind that mask, she was sure of it. Sasuke glanced at her as she took the man out, bringing her kunai up and into his jaw. They would not underestimate her for being a girl with pink hair anymore. Twisting his ōdachi, he parried his own attacker, pushing the sword down; the momentum of his swing drove his weapon deep into the enemy's back.

But he knew it was just a distraction.

A flash of brilliant light blinded them and for a minute, Sakura thought a bomb had gone off. But she and Sasuke were thankfully unharmed. She spun around as the Kumogakure ninja advanced on them once again (there were so much more now), her eyes flickering as she noticed her blonde team mate. Sakura's eyes widened at the sight of him slammed against a nearby tree and in a pool of his own blood. Red chakra flowed from him freely.

'What the hell is that?'

The leader of the Kumo ninja grinned as Naruto started to convulse. Not realising immediately what was going on, Sasuke moved to stand back to back with her, ready to fight, and Sakura screamed out Naruto's name. They were killing him.

1. What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care anymore?

There are so many that I tought would be forever, specially from my childhood shows. Still they give me the nostalgia tingle, so its not indifference. But maybe some like Katara and Aang? Like them but dont much care. Oh, and Hinata and Naruto I dislike now, after the ignored confession I just lost all interest.

2. Which ship would you consider your first one?

Kind hard to tell, maybe Isa x Alex from Isa TKM? I was really invested (but Isa did have some serious mental problems)

My first fanfic was a Harry Potter elf insert, so no ship there, now my first couple one was AMUTO from Shugo chara

It was probrably Sasuke x Sakura, i remember I loved the youtube videos with their fanarts, specially thought Sakura with akatsuki robe looked super cool

I guess one time? When Naruto ended... omg why so many naruto answers? a trip to memory land results in that

Merthur, I will never understand why, the story point to that so much. But I do have some that get me way more mad, I just can't remember Because when I do I go in a rant

Hm, maybe drarry? It wasn't dislike per say. But just seemed weird shipping them because of my childhood. But the fanfic were so good that I gave a chance.

Sterek and Shizaya. Sterek has the age gap that o didn't even realize was there when I was younger. Shizaya is just all levels of toxic enemies.

12. What was your favorite crack ship?

Akafuri, I have it so bad for them. And it was extremely funny when they stopped being a crack ship. Also spideypool? When I started Shipping them they also didn't have anything on them, it was just funny the two together, so it's crazy that they have comics together.

13. Who is the couple you read more fanfics off?

Probably zosan, sterek and drarry? Zosan was in portuguese, sterek when I started reading in English and the Harry Potter fandom just has so many...

14. What most of your ships usually have in common?

I think I have a lot of enemies/rivals ships? Or that usually have some kind of banter going on.

15. What you absolutely hate in a ship?

First, when they are boring. Second, I hate ships where one side (A) is completely obsessed with the other (B). Specially when B does not show any interest in person A and seem clueless. I can watch romance story with these plot, but I feel like in other genres they always mess the execution up and I never feel B truly has deep feelings, just that A is convenient (thats why I don't like ships such as naruhina, gruvia, stydia, Hancock x Luffy...). Just not my cup of tea.

what she means: i don’t have a problem with naruhina inherently, its just that their relationship wasn’t afforded nearly the amount of time and development it needed in order to be effective and goddamn it hinata DESERVED development. hinata hyuga was an anxious twitchy mess of a person who had immense pressure on her shoulders as the heiress of her clan and could never live up to her father’s expectations. this is INTERESTING, these are relatable flaws which is why i. am. so. pissed. they didn't build on that aspect of her character more. legit i swear fuckin N E J I got more focus on his relationship with hinata's father than hinata ever did lmao. there was so much GROWTH that she just wasn’t given, or at least not given effectively enough.

it's always pretty funny how "Naruto shipping confessions" have this hate against sakura whilst supporting naruhina , sasunaru and sasuhina and sasukarin . granted I have seen sakura stans who self insert and ship her with everyone but can't stand sasuke multishipping which needs to be called out but some hate sakura with all their hatred . Like they're almost jealous of her . Certain sasuke ship stans say that ss stans are insecure of us but then 90 % of their time is spent in dissing sasusaku and sakura and 10% on their own ship ( because of how boring they are ) . Ofc sakura multishippers weird the hell out of me but these hinata /karin stans almost seem jealous . Hmm geez I wonder why 😘😘

Because both of them have romantic feelings for her once in their life unlike certain someone whose stans talk about multishipping but are deep down mad the guy had genuine feelings for someone else before her so they ship her with sasuke to fulfill the angst which is alright but then they hate on ss and sakura and everything she does .

Scenario b the other character isn't a very popular character and hardly has any ship popularity to the point certain sasuke crackships are more popular 😭 but she is used as a scapegoat by the sns shippers and nh to again hate on sakura . " Oooh karin the only girl who fall in love with sasuke w/o any looks reason " they claim she fell in love because she saved him and smiled at her which is true but if he hadn't saved her she won't love sasuke . So I've been doing a lot of editing on my Naruhina stories, mainly on my Naruhina fanfic 'Enemies Or Lovers.' And so far, I truly like the result. It's wonderful!

Warning: Violence-Dark Themes. Supernatural/Vampires.

Before:

Hinata's P.O.V

"Mmm." I moaned out as I drunk from a young girl's neck, far into the woods, late at night.

I suck vigorously, my hunger getting the best of me.

My eyes closed tightly as my best friend stood beside me, monitoring me and watching out for werewolves..

Our arch enemy...

Vampires.. Arch enemy..

Her blood tasted so good, I just couldn't stop.. I knew I should but...

"Um Princess, I think that's enough." My best friend, Sakura warned me.

I didn't stop though, I couldn't stop.

Her screams were drowned out by me.. All I focused on was erasing my intense hunger for...

Blood.

My eyes shined a dark purple which was very different from my normal lavender.

I held the girls head tightly as my razor sharp fangs sunk into her neck, drinking up all of her blood, making her fall limp.

I finally removed myself from her neck, my teeth shrinking back to normal.

I breathed heavily and then backed away, my eyes now catching a glimpse of the now dead, innocent girl below me.

My eyes widen as I stared at the wide-eyed black haired girl that laid dead on the grass below.

Her neck bloody and completely torn out..

I, did that.

Oh no..

"O-Oh my goodness. I killed her. I killed her." I screamed and wiped my mouth that was covered with her blood.

Sakura sighed and shook her head "Damn. I knew I should've never brought you out here. You was just hungry Hinata. It's normal for us vampires." She informed and bend down and helped me up, grabbing my hand and pulling me up.

I stumbled onto my feet, my red and black long dress following my movement.

I sighed sadly, the cool, night air blowing through my long midnight blue hair.

I looked down at my feet, feeling tears prick my eyelids "I'm so bad at being a Vampire, Sakura. My bloodlust just gets the best of me.. And I can't help it.." I admitted to her and then looked up at her concern expression "I'm so weak." I continued but she waved her hand at me, reassuring me.

Her pink, short hair swaying in the night wind also as her emerald eyes stared at me intently.

She shook her head at me, a smile etching her lips despite my terrible behavior "It's okay, Hinata. That's why I'm here to help you. It's just you're so innocent, My Princess, it just can't be helped." She said and guided me back to my Mother's palace.

I nodded slowly to her claim "Yeah, I guess. It's just, I'm still, so hungry." I said yearningly, my eyes turning back to a dark purple again, just thinking about getting my hands on some more blood.

Sakura frowned and rubbed my back, calming me back down.

I gasped quietly, my eyes turning back to my normal lavender.

I laughed nervously when Sakura shook her head at my behavior "Let's hurry, inside." She quickly instructed and nodded at the vampire guards who were standing watch.

They nodded back and opened the gates to the vampire palace.

I smiled and walked into the palace with Sakura by my side.

I sighed exaggeratedly and looked up at the same, old boring chandeliers and paintings that's been here ever since I was born..

I groaned and parted away from Sakura to go to my room, which was located, up a flight of stairs.

She waved at me and made her way to hers.

I sighed sadly and entered into the same room I've been seeing over the past 100 years.

I blinked wildly at the darkness and cut the light on, but dimmed it.

I sighed and decided to lay on my bed for now away from the drama that goes on outside.

I laid down gently on my freshly made bed and just stared up at the ceiling with sadness.

As I carry on through life.. I feel like, there's something.. missing.

Because I'm a little older now.. I just think the empty feeling in my heart is thirsty for someone to care for, to love.

It's more of a longing feeling and I've noticed it gets stronger and stronger by the days processes on...

"Mmm." I moaned out as I steadily drunk from a young girl's neck, far into the woods, late at night. I suck vigorously into the flesh of the human who had unfortunately wandered in the woods too far, entering the territory of the beasts; where we vampires lived.

With my razor-sharp teeth, I had torn two holes into the girl's neck, and from there, I drunk and drunk, drinking her blood in a daze. I didn't know what I was doing anymore, reality was not my own. All I wanted was to satisfy the aching hunger I felt. My eyes were shut off from the world, my arms wrapped tightly around the whimpering girl, my body huddling on the ground.

My best friend stood not too far from me, constantly monitoring me as well as watching out for werewolves. Our arch-enemy. Vampires, arch enemy.

I moaned once more, steadily taking more and more of the human girl's blood, unknowingly taking her life. The taste of her blood was divine on my tongue, to my taste buds, I just couldn't stop... The voice in my head continuously told me to but I chose to ignore it.

"Um Princess, I think that's enough." My best friend, Sakura warned me cautiously. But I didn't stop though, I couldn't stop.

The human girl's screams and desperate cries for help were drowned out by me. All I focused on was erasing my intense hunger for; Blood.

My usual innocent lavender eyes had now changed into a different color due to my body transforming because of the strong hunger I felt. Now in my feral state, my eyes were darkened, turning to a dimmed purple almost black color. Horrifying was the word to call me but at the moment, I didn't care about anything. Only when the girl fell limp in my arms did I come back to reality.

Finally regaining some sense of control, I removed my bloody canines from the black-haired girl's injured neck, my teeth shrinking back to their normal size which looked less frightening. I breathed heavily as I slowly came back down from my high, backing away but when I shifted in movement, my eyes, unfortunately, caught a glimpse of the now dead, innocent girl below me.

My eyes widened drastically, tears instantly forming in my eyes at the horrifying display before me. The young girl's neck was completely covered in blood, her eyes hooded and dull. Her frail body laid limply on the green grass. She was dead. Gone.

I, did that! It's all my fault! Oh no.

At that realization, I began to freak out, "O-Oh my goodness. I killed her! She's dead!" I screamed out into the cool night air, one of my pale hands moving up to wipe the blood from my mouth, cleaning it for my own sake.

Sakura sighed from where she stood, her light green eyes staring down at what I caused in regret. She shook her head, "Damn. I knew I should've never brought you out here. You were just hungry Hinata. This is normal for us vampires." She informed encouragingly, "You'll get the hang of it eventually." She added on, trying to cheer me up which slightly worked. But because I was quite selfless and innocent, I was still completely devastated by my actions. I couldn't believe it.

I whimpered shakily the entire time as Sakura worked to help me up, bending down to grab my hand. With it, she pulled it upward bringing my petite body to a stand. I stumbled on my feet, my wavy black dress following my unstable movement.

I sighed sadly, the cool, night air blowing through my long midnight blue hair rapidly.

I looked down at my feet, feeling tears prick my eyelids. The awful deed I had just committed kept running through my head like a broken record. A tear fell down my cheek, "Sakura, I-I don't know if I can do this. I'm so b-bad at being a vampire. I can't do anything right. I fail at everything and t-the bloodlust I feel is too much to handle. I-I... don't know if I can do this." I admitted to her, pouring my feelings out. They were words I always wished to say but never did. But now, I felt no reason to hold them back anymore. I had a right to feel this way. I am certainly a disappointment to the entire vampire species.

I looked up at the pink-haired vampire who had a very concerned expression on her pale face. I pouted, "I'm so weak." I continued dejectedly. But by my last self-loathing comment, she waved her hand at me, reassuring me. From where she stood, her short red dress flowed peacefully within the wind revealing her shiny pale legs. For her feet, she wore black flats, just like I did.

She gave her head a shake at me, a smile pulling at her pink lips despite my terrible behavior, "It's okay, Hinata. That's why I'm here to help you. It's just your nature is so innocent and virtuous, my princess. That's why it's so hard for you to grasp the techniques vampires have to commit. But, you're strong, you'll get through this." She said favorably, her hand diving around my neck to guide me forward, back to my Mother's kingdom.

I nodded slowly to her claim, a small smile slowly appearing on my slightly bloody face, "Y-Yeah. Maybe you're right. I need to have faith. B-But." I paused in my words, the lust for blood rushing back, calling for me. I growled underneath my breath, "I'm still, so hungry." I gritted out yearningly, my eyes turning right back to its purplish-blackish tinge again. Once again, I was losing the battle of control.

Sakura frowned upon that and began to rub the center of my back in circles to calm me down as we walked; which did the trick nicely. Her comforting action distracted me from the blood lust I felt. I gasped quietly, my eyes turning back to my normal lavender.

I laughed nervously when Sakura shook her head at my behavior, "Let's hurry and get you inside, girly." She said with uneasiness in her tone, our feet steady walking through green grass and tall trees. We didn't stop walking until we made it to a large but dark kingdom that stretched high into the sky, touching the clouds. The vampire kingdom could be seen from afar and we, walked straight towards the gates; the entrance of the grand kingdom, side by side.

Sakura nodded at the vampire guards who were standing watch in front of the colossal-sized double doors. They nodded back, receiving the memo from my friend, and with that, they opened the gates to the vampire palace for us. I smiled to see the doors of my home open up for me and with that, I walked into the palace with Sakura by my side.

As I entered, I couldn't help but groan. There was nothing but the same old, doddery furniture placed about, same dusty rooms, and the same boring chandeliers and paintings lying about which have been here ever since I was born. Actually, they've probably been here in the castle longer than that. Mother's taste was quite old-fashioned, after all.

I groaned but parted ways from Sakura, not before sending a quick wave in her direction.

"Bye Sakura! Thank you so much for the lesson!" I yelled out from afar which brought a joyous smile to her face. By revealing such gratitude it made my best friend feel very appreciated.

She waved back happily, walking to her own room which was located in a different part of the kingdom, "You're welcome, girly! We will definitely meet back up tomorrow night! Be ready!" She yelled back informing me that I had yet another lesson for tomorrow. I couldn't help but grimace but I gave her a nod, hiding the dread I felt.

"Okay!"

After I said my final goodbyes to my cherry bestie, I turned and went back on my journey to my room which was located up a flight of stairs. My smile instantly shifted into a frown upon arriving at the same room I've been seeing and lying in over 100 years. After seeing the same thing over and over again, you will surely get tired of it. That, is how I feel about everything.

I sighed sadly but approached my room in no time, turning left from the long flight of steps. One single black door greeted me, closed shut so none of the other vampires in the kingdom could lurk in. After all, we vampires live together and some do not believe in the word privacy or space.I rolled my eyes at such thoughts but moved to grab a hold of the handle of my door, throwing it open and instantly turning on the lights in my bedroom for it was mighty dark. But I made sure to dim it. See, the light switch in the castle works differently; it has three settings. You can turn the light switch to the right which will grant the room no light. Turn the light switch to the left, the room will light up brightly, and last but not least, if you leave the circular switch in the center, you will have a dimmed room. Because we vampires hate the light, hate the sun, we prefer our rooms dimmed.

That way it is not too light and it's not too dark. So that is the mode I set my room in. Dimmed.

Afterward, I closed my door and walked to my bed, deciding to lie down a bit to rest. Now, I was away from the drama; away from the chaos outside. I let out a delightful sigh once I plopped my small body down onto my large, plushy bed, my body cuddling involuntarily in its warmth. Silence took over my room as I just lied and allowed my brain to think. I had so much to think about anyhow.

I have to improve my skills as a vampire.

I have to make my Mother proud.

And I also, have to satisfy the void I feel within my heart.

As I carry on through my long, immortal life, I feel like, there's something, missing. Because I'm a little older now I just think the empty feeling in my heart is thirsty for someone to care for; To love. It's more of a longing, yearning feeling and I've noticed it gets stronger and stronger as the day's progress on.

I pouted to myself, my lavender eyes rooted on the ceiling above. I wonder.. What is this feeling? Why am I feeling it?

In the Naruto Retsuden novel, it says that Naruto and Hinata went to see an Icha Icha live action movie while they were dating. It's comedy gold.. Imagine Naruto forgetting the plot of the movie even though Jiraiya made him proofread the novel. Hinata surprisingly really getting into it. Ha ha ha ha. Headcanons on this?

List 3 shipping tropes you love

So many to choose from! This one is probably the most obvious considering my writing, but I love Plot, what Plot? Smut 🤣

I just love using shipping dynamics and writing smutty scenes based around them without getting into the nitty gritty of plot and stuff, not that I don't enjoy that too from time to time. But I'm like the exact opposite of the types of people that need plot to justify smut 😅

Another one I love is A/B/O and I can't wait to read yours Days! I was one of those people that used to dismiss A/B/O before every having read it, but once I got into the Dramione fandom I read a lot of tropes I avoided before, including A/B/O, and I was blown away. Ngl I really love all the sexual tension, change in characterizations that heats/ruts can cause, the graphic description of it. It's not for everyone, of course, but yeah I love it 🥵

Third thing is probably rivals/enemies to lovers. I'm a big fan of the tension that arises from this dynamic, especially when the attraction is so belligerent and the pov character is borderline fuming about it or trying so hard to be in denial haha. This doesn't relate to NaruHina as much, I don't actually have much interest in canon adjacent NaruHina being rivals, but I do like the idea of canon Naruto and RTN Hinata as rivals/enemies to lovers.

10. How important is the sexual part (if any) of your ship?

I enjoy all sorts of ratings for my ships, G rated stuff, T rated stuff and more explicit things. But I would be lying if I said I did not prefer explicit content when possible. So, yeah, it is very important to me, and one of the reasons I got back into writing to be honest. I know Naruto is one of the most popular characters in the fandom, but I've never found there to be much well written het smut about him, or maybe I'm deluding myself/wasn't looking properly (I was also exclusively on ffnet at the time) so I started writing my own. Looking back at it, my writing was quite poor, but I feel I've improved drastically since.

But especially with NaruHina, yeah, I just find them so hot together. I like all sort of scenarios with them, Naruto in control, Naruto losing control because he's just so attracted to her, Hinata doing things she would have never dreamed of, stuff like that!

17. Now one thing that the other character(s) likes about the first character.

Well you asked me to relate this to question 1...and I'm not sure if you wanted me talk about what they like about each other sexually? 😅

Head canon stuff: I think Naruto loves that Hinata is willing to try different things with him, even though it's her nature to be a bit passive, she's interested in learning new things if he is as well.

And Hinata loves how attentive Naruto is towards her.

NARUTO'S POV

Naruto tossed and turned on bed. It's 3 a.m. and he couldn't sleep.

All because of that stupid confession.

He sighed. He promised himself not to overthink after the confession but of course he would.

He had punched a bully before for shaming his reputation as someone who had parents that ran away from the country due to his huge debt.

He drove his grandpa's old pick-up truck to the hospital back and at that time, he was only a 14-year-old boy. No license. The only thing he had back then was a one week experience of driving, taught by his grandpa.

He was almost fired from his part-time job as a waiter because he fell asleep at home after class. It's the only well-paid job at that area to pay his school fees and grandpa Hiruzen's hospital fees.

Naruto knew that whatever happens, he would never be the perfect guy for Hinata. He's too poor to be compared with the surgeon and professor's daughter.

He was seven when everyone in his class made fun of him. A boy without parents. That weird boy who was always quiet and sat at the back of the class. The kid who was always left alone whenever group works were conducted. To Naruto, he never cared. It's not as if he's dumb anyway. As long as he could finish his homeworks before deadline, then he's good. The teachers always worked hard to create a fun learning environment by including him in group works but he was always casted away whenever there is a class discussion.

He just couldn't enter their world. He tried his best to mingle but he couldn't. Naruto felt like a mirrorball shining for every dancers in the club. He shined for everyone but no one cared of him. They danced and danced, not aware of his existence who tried his best to fit in.

He wondered why his grandpa insisted on paying his education fees. He told him that he could work because he never want to shift the burden to his grandpa.

"Naruto, no. I want you to succeed. I know it's hard, boy. I know... but I don't want you to live a life like me or your parents. I want you to become an educated person who make this world a better place for people like us. Don't think about money. I want you to study. Let me pay your parents' debt little by little. Please, boy. Just study. I know you feel like giving up most of the time because of the surrounding you grew up in but I want you to be a successful man. That's the only wish I have."

If it weren't because of his grandpa who always worked hard as a chef, he would stop going to school and get a job to earn money instead.

One day, his grandpa was late to pick him up. Iruka sensei told him that his grandpa had to work another 2 hours so he waited in front of the school building.

He had an urge to pee so he climbed upstairs to the first floor. As soon as he went out of the toilet, he heard a classic music being played. Curious, he walked towards the place in which the music and played.

Inside, there were 18 dancers. 9 girls and 9 boys. They were practicing.

Naruto was about to leave when a girl with dark long hair ran towards the ballet room. She was sweating and it soaked her attire.

She opened the door, totally unaware of the boy standing outside the room and bow her head.

"I am so sorry! I am a new student and I'm late for my first practice in this school! Please accept my apology!"

The ballet instructor raised her eyebrows.

"You must be Hyuuga Hinata right?"

"Y- yes... ma'am!"

"Very well. I don't tolerate latecomers, Hyuuga. If you're late next time, you will have to dance at the school field. You're forgiven today because you're new here."

"O-okay! ma'am!"

The instructor glared at her.

"Don't call me ma'am, I'm not married!"

"B- but you look..."

The girl was about to finish her sentence when a murderous gaze was shot at her.

"O-okay, sensei!"

The latecomer was then instructed to join the other dancers for warming-up activities.

"Hyuuga, since you're new here, please show us your dance. I want to see your moves."

Hinata nodded her head and said; "I would like to perform The Sleeping Beauty Aurora Act 2 Vision."

Murmurs and whispers of disbelieve were clearly heard among the dancers.

Something about her intrigued Naruto because from the looks of it, she didn't look like a ballet dancer. She looked like a girl who was always loud and never care of her appearance.

Naruto didn't know much about ballet but he knew that to be very good in it, you need to show your gracefulness, elegance, formalized steps, intricate gestures and flowing patterns.

This girl looks nothing like a ballet dancer. She wore glasses and her bun was disheveled due to her rush. Her dancewear was soaked with sweat and it looks totally bad for her first impression at new school.

As soon as the music starts, she started dancing.

Her moves were not really perfect. Some of her twirls were a bit imbalanced but she managed to make it perfect by doing an assemble' (a jump from one foot, landing simultaneously with 2 feet).

Naruto felt as if he was watching a show. A show only made for him. He knew nothing about ballet.

But... he liked her expression. She was focused. She's trying her best to perform but it's not like she hated it. She was trying but at the same time, enjoying the dance. It's as if she never cared what the audience would think of her. All she knew was that she loves ballet.

The music stopped and she bowed her head.

Immediately, she scratched her head and smiled goofily.

"Hehehe.. it wasn't my best but I'm still trying to improve my moves."

Naruto wanted to continue watching her practice but Iruka sensei approached him and told him that his grandpa had arrived.

The next day, he was late because grandpa's Hiruzen old pick-up truck needed to be repaired. He dashed to his class only to be scolded and stood next to a familiar girl at the corridor.

It was her. She's late again and she was wearing a leotard under her school uniform. It looked odd on her.

"Late too, huh?" she asked.

Naruto nodded his head. His grandpa never taught him how to speak with girls so he took the safe method.

"Huh.. I was late yesterday for my first practice and now I'm late for class..."

Naruto stayed silent.

"Hey. Let's ditch this class. Math is boring anyway."

"Skipping class is prohibited. We will be given demerits and it's not going to look good on our report cards."

"Boo! You're boring! C'mon!"

This time, she pleaded him by pulling his hand.

Naruto remained silent because he didn't know what to do.

The girl won't give up so she stood in front of him and grabbed his face so that he's watching her closely.

Naruto felt a sudden fast thud in heart. Something new to him, as soon as he gazed at the ethereal, lavender eyes.

He was too speechless and a trail of searing heat seeped through the veins in his cheeks. Hinata held her hand tightly and ran towards the ballet gym.

Again, Naruto couldn't stop watching her dance as she turned the music on and dance.

As he reached home, he asked his grandpa about the sudden thud in his heart but his grandpa just smiled and told him that he would know later.

Little did he know that the feeling developed into something treacherous, dragging him like gossamers to sleepless nights and jealousy.

He loves everything about her and if she rejects him, he'll live a lone, empty life again. A life with none of her odd appearance, hearty laughter, clumsiness and her magic: ballet.

A single tear rolled down his cheek.

I should be worried about grandpa and more important things to do, yet here I am being hopeless. I should meet her tomorrow and tell her to just forget that stupid confession. Who am I to love someone as beautiful as her?

With that dreadful thought, he closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

Probably either the original Pokemon anime (pokeshipping) or Sailor Moon (UsaMamo)

My first OTP was either NaruHina or RobStar. I remember in elementary school i would stay up late at night talking to myself as I imagined scenarios of these ships getting together, and I eventually discovered fanfiction thanks to NaruHina google searches uwu

3. What ship are you currently obsessed with and why?

MitsuTaki eternally bc they are so beautiful and poetic and heartbreaking and healing and I love kimi no na wa so much! They have such a beautiful love story and they get a happy ending and I’m a sucker for body swap, long distance, time travel, and soulmate aus so they are just *chef’s kiss* ;;w;;

Also kyoru!!! They are such beautiful characters and i love them so so so so much and I’m so excited for fruits basket season 2!!!!!

9. What drew you to your favorite ship?

One of my favorite ships is NaruHina, and what drew me to it when I discovered Naruto in elementary school was that Hinata was a sweet, shy dark-haired girl with cool eyes who wanted to be brave and Naruto was her light in the dark, and she was for him too. ;;3;;

This is hard because most of my ships are either already canon, or canon has already been decided...
