Huge thank you goes out to @thedriftingjellyfish for making these amazing crochet Miss Raven and Jade plushies 😭 The timing of their arrival was so prefect 💦 They arrived like a day or two after I announced the 10k+ milestone blog event ✨

I took some close-up shots of the plushies so you can appreciate the details ^^ Note the gradient in Miss Raven’s eyes, her little feet, and even the beads in her hat! And Jade has nice pointy teeth and ribbing in the middle of his body! Both are very soft and good to squish too 😌

So honored to have received these labors of your love 🙏

Content: Dead whumpee, angel caretaker (kinda??), hurt/comfort

Whumpee stood before the council, their eyelids heavy with tears. They were ready, so ready, heart filled with the terrified eagerness of someone ready to absolve themselves of all the filth that clung to their soul.

Death had ripped them away from their body, violent and explosive, and here they stood, drenched with astral ichor – their own – glowing a sickly, bright golden-yellow. The blood spattered to the floor, dripping endlessly. Wet and nauseating.

Whumpee was wracked with tremors, but as they stared at the angelic, alien faces before them, they steeled themself, forcing their muscles tight and tense and still. The inhuman eyes fixed on them caused them to falter, and their shaking returned with more fervor.

Not a word was spoken. The council held themselves placidly, frozen like glass.

Whumpee assumed the verdict had already been determined. This was merely a ritual in debasement. A teasing glimpse at the world that could have been theirs, had they not been so filthy and rotted from the inside-out.

“Please.” The lone word was uttered with defeat and reverence. “Make it quick.”

Something bright and warm reached out for them, careful, deliberate, and touched Whumpee’s cheek. It held their face, and Whumpee conceded to the touch. A thumb-like appendage stroked their skin, soft and heavenly, touch they did not deserve to feel, the sensation like a growing ember against their frail, bloodied flesh.

“Whumpee.” Its voice was like birdsong, like a lullaby Whumpee couldn’t remember from years past, like the climax of an orchestral piece, heartfelt and profound. Its hand left Whumpee’s face, and it took their hands, holding them close, warming them.

“I forgive you.”

Here's the Hair Keyboard. I built this in 2020. It's basically just a relatively standard QWERTY membrane-dome keyboard, but it's got a very unique look, thanks to a lot of time spent with glue and fake fur from a hobby store. It took a LONG time to comb this thing into usability, and I cannot describe how it feels to type on.
