You have no idea how excited I was to see this ask. Considering I was gonna make one anyway…

Here’s Kevin! There’s gonna be a more color accurate version at the bottom of this since unfortunately the markers I needed were dried out :(

I honestly had some trouble with him compared to Matthew but I’m pretty satisfied with the end result!

Anyway! He has some stickers on his vest/over shirt thing of a “Good Job!” Type star, dogday, and a blue smiley face. From this point on it’s getting into fun-thoughts-i-had-while-designing territory so here’s a few more doodles before I start yapping

I like to think his favorite smiling critter was dogday but to avoid being seen as basic he’d say Kickin.

I also like to think he carries stuff in his pockets! Whole lot of trash he forgot to throw out and little toys to hold onto. Like he’s got a whole mess of marbles in one of them, he likes to collect them! They’d probably be rewards in class that he’s gathered over the years. Gets pretty upset if he can’t find one.

He’s kind of a mess from roughhousing so he’s got a couple of scars and actively healing bruises on him. But he’s a tough kid they don’t bother him

I honestly really wanted to give him braces but considering the circumstances I don’t think it would make much sense. In another life perhaps

A little something I've gotten curious about:

How do the dough brothers show affection to each other and who is most affectionate (and in what way/expressions) with who?

Also,how and to what extent do they show/are affectionate with the reader?

Jack is easily the most affectionate of the three! With the reader, he is EXTREMELY affectionate and LOVES cuddles. If he could, he would never let you go. You’re just so small and adorable! Not only are you his mom, but you’re a HUMAN as well! Humans are fragile and soft and need to be protected! And hugged lots too!

With his brothers, Jack is equally affectionate! He loves hugging Matthew and Kevin and letting them know just how much he loves them! Matthew accepts it with open arms, Kevin less so lol

Matthew is next! He’s not as physically affectionate with the reader and his brothers as Jack is, but he’s very verbal with his love for his family and is extremely supportive with reassurance and praise. He also loves giving hugs, but only if you want to be hugged back!

Kevin…Kevin is last. He’s not overly affectionate with anyone, mainly because no one was affectionate with him in return when he was human. Therefore, he doesn’t really know how to show it, and when he does, he feels awkward and sort of embarrassed. The same thing happens when he’s receiving affection. But when he does gather the courage to show it…he’s VERY careful and hesitant. If you don’t accept him immediately, he’ll back out. It takes a lot for him to show his gentle side, but when he does, he’s easily the most huggable of all three.

Day In the Orphanage

Played around with black and white since I was always interested in it. I find it almost more fun than color as I need to get creative with the shading and hue.

Anyway, for context, Quinn ripped the head off of some of the toys that Kevin was playing with and Kevin got angry. A physical fight occurred and Theo, an intentional and reluctant third party, decided to try to help Quinn since they knew each other. It was like what the Prototype said, you always have the back for those on your side. That way, you gain their fullest trust.

Yeah…they ended up all going to the counselors which they all were used to anyway.

It always fascinated me about the lives of these monstrous toys before experimentation. What they were like as orphans. How did they interact and such.
