Out of curiosity, how many people could Matthew nom? Ever since reading the first chapter I've had this image of Jack maybe joining the reader in Matthew's belly to get cuddles while also having the reader be protected.

Would Matthew feel winded if he nommed one or all of his brothers?

I think the boys could nom each other since, being made of dough, they can change their shape or size. I just like the idea of their default size being giant because Doey was pretty massive too. The idea of Matthew nomming Jack because Jack wants to cuddle with the reader and comfort them is actually so cute. You may now see that in the fic muahahahaha >:)

If you, Jack, AND Kevin are in Matthew’s stomach? He may feel a little winded. That’s a bit too much. But back when they were still Doey, I like the idea of Doey nomming the reader and then Matthew, Jack, and Kevin materializing out of the interior and cuddling with them. It would be much easier with Doey’s larger form for all three of them to hold the reader.

Questions about your lovely poppy playtime fic! Firstly, would Matthew ever eat Kevin as a form of enforced time out if he got too rowdy?

Secondly, the new chapter had Kevin and Jack play fighting, would biting/eating each other ever happen during something like that? Obviously would count as cheating but the mental image is very funny to me lol

OOOOO if Kevin were acting out and being REALLY aggressive towards you, I could see Matthew nomming him as timeout. It would be less eating him and more just enveloping him with his own form and kind of...absorbing him? It's because they're made of dough. Matthew would keep Kevin contained until he's calmed down.

Kevin and Jack like doing some biting while play fighting! As for eating, Kevin would definitely do it. Jack wouldn't because he's smaller than Kevin and would probably take a bit more exertion to absorb the larger dough boy into himself. You'd just hear Jack's muffled voice yelling "Hey! That's cheating!" while Kevin smirks triumphantly.

I'm a little curious, in ur Doey story would the the other kids also swallow each other? Like if Jack was really tired and didn't want to walk anymore would Matthew let him sleep for a while in his stomach? Or does it not work that way and instead the 2 would end up merging back together?

I think this is possible! After Doey dies and the three split apart, I see them remaining apart. Matthew would definitely swallow his brothers to offer them safety and comfort! I think Kevin would do the same with Jack as a sort of big brother tactic of keeping his little brother safe!

Heyyyyy I was reading your fiction involving Doey and I am genuinely curious to ask this

Is the Player meant to be a female? Cause I think the boys refer them as their mother and their she/her pronouns. Or are they gender neutral and they’re mistaken as their mom( like the mama Luigi situation where Yoshi view him as his mother )?

That said, I really like reading your fiction especially with Matthew keeping the reader in his stomach. I will also like to read a chapter with a role reverse where instead of Doey parts nomming you, you’re the one nomming them. Like food become scarce to completely running out and the reader was forced to endured starvation for days, at least until either Jack or Matthew offered themselves as comfort food to help them with their hunger( even if it means eating Play Dough doesn’t seem to be a right option )

Hi! I like having the boys refer to the reader/the Player as their mother because it's what they've come to see you as. The reader has ambiguous pronouns in the fic so further add to the immersion, and because I want you to imagine YOURSELF as the reader, because that's really how I see x readers to be. No matter what your gender is, you are their mother, because you've taken on such a big maternal role for them. Also constantly typing "Daddy" just feels weird and I don't like it.

I'm happy you are enjoying the story! It was a very spur-of-the-moment fic for me to write, and I never anticipated it becoming so popular. I'm really thankful!!

Grrrrr giving me all these brainworms about your adorable Doey fic!! Interesting question because I haven't seen much of it and figured it'd fit.

So! Doey is made out of assumably something like playdough, so the idea that's been rolling in my skull like a window's screen saver is what if one of the three kids wanted to be nommed?

Like, they want to be held by you, carried and protected by an adult, to relax and trust someone else besides themselves, but don't want to hinder you while you're out collecting stuff for Safe Haven, or wherever the reader ends up next.

Or maybe, since the reader's been stuck in that hell for a few days, one of the kids offers to be nommed (probably Matthew or Jack) to help with the reader's hunger without consuming anything absolutely dangerous or sickly. Reader probably regrets it later though, coughing up wet dough probably isn't fun lmao

Aaaa sorry if this sounded weird, I struggle to put my words into cohesive though sometimes and I just had to share

No you're okay! Actually this is kind of an interesting thing to think about! I imagine the reader/the Player as being fully human, so I don't know how well swallowing the dough boys would go about for their body...playdough is, after all, fun to play but not to eat! But let's say the boys being living creatures allows them to be nommed...I'd say the reader would be pretty aversive to it at first, because it's one thing to be eaten by someone, but another to eat someone back lol. With enough coaxing I think they'd be reluctantly open to it. Jack would definitely be the first one to try it out, followed by Matthew and finally Kevin. It starts out as a pretty uncomfortable feeling, but after a while, you'd probably grow used to the weighty feeling and would definitely feel a sense of deep protection for them. Just like how protective they get when they nom you :)

So several questions I have related to your fanfiction( if you don’t mind ) :

1. First off, considering Jack, Matthew and Kevin are giants compared to the reader, how are they gonna offer themselves as a meal for their mom? Can they change sizes from going big to becoming in their small size where they it’s possible to eat them?

2. How damaged the Player is both physically and mentally? It’s already bad enough they’ve forced to “kill” Doey but getting confronted by Kevin for the destruction they caused to the Safe Haven is just so gut wrenching! I’m also wondering how long the food storage is gonna last before it run out. Because even tho they finally have a decent meal, I doubt the supply is gonna last long before their days of enduring starvation starts…

3. Do you plan on including Poppy and Prototype to your story? The last time we saw Poppy, she panicked and run away after finding out the truth. I dunno how she’s holding up but I don’t think the reader is too happy to see her again…!

Hello!

1.) The boys can change their sizes! Just like how you can condense dough by rolling it into a ball, or expand it by flattening it into a pancake, I like to think they have control over how big or small they are! However, their default sizes are giant because Doey was also pretty big, especially when he died. So if the reader WERE to nom them, they could shrink themselves.

2.) The reader is pretty mentally damaged. I’d say the worst began after the episode with CatNap, because he was easily the most horrifying of the three monsters they faced before Doey, mainly due to the red smoke and the hallucinations he caused. The PTSD, guilt, and self-hatred only started really happening after CatNap…and it’s only gotten worse. Kevin lashing out at them isn’t going to help with the symptoms…I’d say his confrontation will cause a big step back in terms of trusting the boys.

Food will always be a problem. For the boys, they have the freedom to hunt other monsters if they wish, and nomming the reader helps with their hunger pangs as well. But for the reader, the peaches will only last for so long, and there’s no guarantee them and the boys will be able to find more throughout the factory. They’ll have to reaction the peaches for as long as possible until they find another solution.

3.) I do plan on including both of them! This story actually commences before Poppy and Kissy find the reader again because they meet the boys instead of going off on the “canon” path of the game. The reader definitely wants to find Poppy and Kissy! And the Prototype definitely is even MORE interested in the reader after they’ve managed to gain the unbeatable loyalty of Matthew, Jack, and maybe Kevin even after Doey went mad.
