Hi there! I was wondering if you had a particular fave episode of 13's run or of dw in general? Not to gif or anything, but it just watch, y'know? I apologise if you've already answered this question. Thank you!

i may have mentioned something about this before, but i don't mind answering even if i have!

it's hard to pick one favourite episode of 13's run, mostly because i love them all. some of the ones i love most are actually a lot of the historicals - the haunting of villa diodati, legend of the sea devils, demons of the punjab, to name a few. but also, i love eve of the daleks an absurd amount, and i love the timeless children, and the woman who fell to earth, and all of them basically.

when it comes to the rest of dw, if i had to pick one episode, i'd be basic and say vincent and the doctor, because a) it's beautiful b) i love van gogh. these two things make up for it being 11, my least favourite modern doctor.

RTD clunky attempt at giving cybermen an "exterminate" style catchphrase is risible but made so much more cringe by the fact that cybermen had already a way more thematically relevant catchphrase with "you will be like us" like yeah damn cyberconvert them idiots. That is uncomfortable and genuinely scary, they don't "delete you" they *save* you from your emotion. Cybermen are scary in the sense that true bliss is the scariest thing someone can experience, the loss of one self without the capability to even mourn it, to even suffer. They aren't scary because they're big scifi robots guys.
