Jinx is NOT homophobic

One aspect of Arcane that I feel is majorly misinterpreted by the fans is its gay representation. In an interview with the creators, they had stated that in Arcanes universe, the idea of queerness was completely normal and natural. Saying also that because of this, the concept of homophobia is completely unheard of, and that they don't think that Piltover or Zaun even has a WORD for gay. This is the reason that I feel that Arcane has such incredible gay representation as opposed to other shows. It doesn't draw attention to it, (in a clearly unnatural way) and just shows it as how any other relationship would be shown. Obviously, this is only possible because of its status as a fantasy story, but I feel like currently in the world of queer representation, it is exactly what we need. Overall this is an important aspect of the show to point out, not just for Jinx (and other homophobic claimed characters), but for the understanding of the universe as a whole and why it works so much better than most other cringe attempts at gay romance.
