Real Skincare Guide
Tumblr media
Level 1: breakouts, non-painful, a little scarring
Minimize your skincare routine, all you need is an oil cleanser (if you wear a lot of makeup) than a good foam cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Repeat the same routine before bed just without the sunscreen.
Wear sunscreen everyday!!!
Always apply more moisturizer than you think you need.
Drink a lot of water (2-3LT)
Get consistent sleep
Take a multi vitamins to balance your hormones. I recommend the One-A-Day Woman’s Vitamins (get a real pill cause the gummies don’t have enough iron)
Work on your stress (breathe work, meditate, journal, yoga, walks, going out with friends, therapy, etc)
Look at what body oils/shampoo/conditioner you are using. Could be your akin reacting poorly to something in there.
Level 2: consistant breakouts, acne, scarring
All the stuff for Level 1 apply.
Minimize your skincare routine and than slowly add back in stuff like hydrochloric acid and retinol. Having an elaborate skincare will just make your skin worse. First, focus on healing your skin barrier.
If you are a teenager, it just might be your hormones/growing pains. It will go away eventually.
Pimple Patches work and are especially good if you are trying to stop touching your face.
Wash your pillow cases every 1-2 weeks.
Try to sleep on your back.
If you pop a pimple than apply an antibiotic ointment.
No point in using anti-aging products if you are under the age of 25. It just won’t do anything for you.
Note that if you take in a lot of nicotine you will breakout. If you smoke and you have bad skin, it probably won’t improve unless you quit or lessen the dosage.
Level 3: painful consistent breakouts/acne/scars, redness, irritability, hurts,
Go see a dermatologist!
Acne is can be a real problem. If your acne is painful seek professional help.
If Accutane is recommended, than I would do it. Based only on the experiences of my friends, I have seen great results after a couple months. There are side effects and it is not for everyone but if a professional says you should than I might consider it.
No topical treatment is going to make those scars go away. You are going to need to laser resurfacing which is like this secret treatment rich people do to clear up their skin. It is expensive but really works. Beauty brands want you to think that the right cream can clear up your skin but if you have bad scarring you are only going to see real results with laser treatments
All of the above recommendations still apply
Your acne does not take away from your beauty or your worth as a human being. Remember that acne is normal and social media is fake.

Do you ever sit back and wonder what kind of Skincare routine the pomefiore trio might have? especially Vil!
As someone with acne and dry skin, I would love to know when Twst when?! 😭😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
By virtue of being anime characters, they all (as in, all the boys, not just Pomefiore) have perfect skin no matter how little effort they put into their skincare routines 😂 Not me cringing when Kalim says he washes his face with just water—
Vil of course has a rigorous and dedicated routine. He creates homemade cosmetics and skincare for his personal use, but I’d imagine he also has access to many high end and fancy brands due to his industry connections, sponsorship deals, brand launch parties, and free product he gets sent. One thing we know (from Azul’s Ceremonial Robes vignettes) is that he uses eel slime lotion/toner 😂
I assume Rook didn’t really practice a skincare routine before he met Vil and transferred to Pomefiore from Savanaclaw. He solely admired beauty before, never partaking in beautifying himself until Vil urged him to match the beauty of the performances he loves so much. He’s the more willing of the two between him and Epel to do what Vil tells them! For Vil, Rook will even wear perfumes (he typically avoids them because they alert others to his presence). I think he probably also wears sunscreen now (since when he was in Savanaclaw he was described as being freckled; the present day Rook we know of doesn’t have these freckles).
I don’t think Epel really does much on his own (especially before book 5 when he was riddled with toxic masculinity). There’s a custom of washing your hands with soap and water back in his hometown of Harveston, but I’m not sure if that routine also applies to his face. Harveston, as it happens, crafts soaps with organic botanical oils which are said to be good for your skin; Epel got a bar of this as a souvenir for Vil. However, even if Epel doesn’t practice skincare that much, I’m sure Vil makes him do a complicated multi-step routine against his will. This was most obviously alluded to in book 4, but there’s also various throwaway lines in events which indicate that Vil hands him products and tells him to use them.
@ TWST merch team: you made Cater’s phone case, the magical wheel/blastcycle, and the ghost camera case real things 😊 it’s time to make Vil’s personal cosmetic and skincare products real things too 💕

I would love some makeup and skincare tips if you're willing :)
-🌼
of course!! (these answers are very general/assuming you're starting from the very beginning. if you want more specific advice lmk just give me more specific questions)
so I've talked about skincare on here before so I'll put that at the bottom of this ask, and I'll start with make up instead this time
makeup takes a learning curve to figure out how to use. there's no getting around that. it took years for me to figure out makeup stuff and I started playing around with it when I was only 12-13ish. don't feel embarrassed if your makeup doesn't turn out how you want. depending on what you're doing, you're basically learning how to paint but, like, really specifically and only on your face. it takes practice and that's ok! if you're embarrassed about people seeing you with makeup on, just do it alone in your room. the only reason I got good at winged eyeliner was because I made myself do makeup every day during the first quarantine era of covid so that I'd have a daily routine established and wouldn't just sit in pajamas in bed all day. I wasn't going out at all, so I made myself do winged eyeliner every time bc I knew no one was gonna see it, and it didn't take long for me to get good at it. so practice when you're alone and wipe it off when you're done. you'll figure it out eventually.
now as far as what kind of makeup to do on your face. well, that depends on what you're trying to achieve with makeup. do you want to cover up acne? do you want to do fun eyeshadow and eyeliner? do you want to enhance your natural features? if you're completely new to makeup I'd recommend starting with the basics of just trying to enhance your natural features. that's usually very simple and easy makeup that'll help you learn the foundations of it all so you can build up from there.
'natural' makeup routines that you read about online are probably going to consist of some kind of tinted moisturizer, maybe some concealer, maybe mascara, and probably a bit of blush. it depends on how much you want to do. if you're going for something with more coverage to cover up acne, look for foundation instead of tinted moisturizer.
if you're just starting out you're probably going to want to go for drugstore makeup instead of the expensive stuff. maybelline anti-age rewind multi-use concealer has been my go to concealer for years now. elf as a whole is a really low-priced and generally well recommended makeup brand with a lot of variety to what they sell. for whichever product you're trying to get, tbh just google 'best drugstore brand [insert product here]' and you'll find a ton of magazine articles pop up with recommendations.
last tips for now. here's what you don't need when you're just starting out: primer (you are probably not going to be doing heavy daily makeup right off the bat it's not worth it in that case). look, I know everyone talks about primer being amazing. but I basically never use foundation or tinted moisturizer, I just use concealer. so it's very unnecessary for me. later on you might find you need it, but at the start I promise you don't
hope that helps with some makeup stuff! skincare info below!
okay so for skincare, I've found that it's easiest to build a routine one step at a time. don't feel like you have to rush into everything all at once. first get into the habit of washing your face every morning and night if you don't already. make sure you have a good facial cleanser that's suited to your skin type (please don't use body soap for your face). cetaphil and cerave are both very highly rated drugstore skincare brands that have a lot of options for face cleansers for all skin types (oily, dry, sensitive, etc). then you need a moisturizer. again, I recommend either cetaphil or cerave to start off with bc of their low price point and how highly rated their products are. I use cetaphil daily face cleanser and cetaphil's daily oil free moisturizer with spf 35. definitely try to get one with spf in it because sun protection is the other essential part of a bare bones skincare routine. when looking for a face moisturizer, try to go for ones that say they're non-comedogenic which means they won't clog your pores. oil-free is probably preferable too especially if you have acne.
after you have the basics you can get into other stuff! this stuff is going to depend on what skin issues you have. there are a whole lot of serums out there you can look into (niacinamide I think is one of the best serums for most skin types and you can get a bottle of it from both good molecules or the ordinary for like $6). different serums are formulated to target different things, so again try to google stuff to see what might be most helpful for you. skincare brands besides cetaphil and cerave that I think are good to start out with is the ordinary (high quality at a very low price) and good molecules. neutrogena also has some pretty good products, and I really love elf's eye cream. but if you're really unsure where to start, the ordinary has an online quiz you can take on your site which will recommend products to you based off what you say your skin issues are, so even if you don't end up buying anything from them that can give you an idea of what products to start looking at.

The Ordinary: Demystifying Skincare, One Drop at a Time
Let’s face it—skincare can be confusing. With endless options, hard-to-pronounce ingredients, and promises that seem too good to be true, it’s easy to feel lost. That’s where The Ordinary steps in like a breath of fresh air. Known for its no-nonsense approach, this brand has flipped the beauty world upside down by prioritizing transparency, science, and affordability.
Here’s a fresh perspective on why The Ordinary has become a go-to for skincare newbies and experts alike.
Skincare for the Curious Mind
The Ordinary doesn’t just sell products—it educates. Every serum, solution, and cream comes with an ingredient-focused name that invites you to understand what you’re putting on your skin. Want to tackle dullness? Look to their Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. Struggling with fine lines? Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% might be your best friend.
This focus on ingredient education empowers users to craft a routine that meets their unique needs, fostering confidence and curiosity.
Breaking the Myth of Luxury = Efficacy
The Ordinary proves that high-quality skincare doesn’t need to come in gold-embossed packaging or cost half your paycheck. By cutting unnecessary frills, they deliver effective solutions without the markup. For example:
Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion: A gentle yet effective alternative to traditional retinoids.
Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%: A potent dose of antioxidants for brighter skin.
These products rival luxury brands, not in price but in results.
A Modern Approach to Skincare
Unlike brands that push “one-size-fits-all” solutions, The Ordinary acknowledges that skincare is personal. Their wide array of products encourages experimentation and customization:
Layering: Pair a hydrating serum like Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 with a treatment like Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% for a tailored routine.
Problem-Specific Treatments: Focus on issues like uneven tone or sensitivity with targeted actives.
By promoting a modular approach, The Ordinary gives you the reins to become your own skincare mixologist.
A Fresh Take on Beauty Culture
The Ordinary has also challenged the culture of instant results. Instead of promising overnight miracles, the brand emphasizes the importance of patience and consistency. This aligns with a growing movement in skincare that values long-term health over quick fixes.
What’s Next for The Ordinary?
While The Ordinary started with a focus on actives, its expanding range hints at a broader future. Recent launches, such as their Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum and Hair Density Serum, show the brand isn’t afraid to explore new territories.
Why It’s Not Just a Trend
In a world filled with over-the-top promises and complicated marketing, The Ordinary’s straightforward approach feels refreshingly new. It’s a reminder that skincare doesn’t have to be intimidating or expensive—it can be simple, empowering, and effective.
If you haven’t tried The Ordinary yet, maybe it’s time to step into this modern skincare revolution. Who knows? Your next holy grail product might be just a serum away.

Hi guys,
We all know I love luxury beauty but there are some drugstore brands out there that are killing the game! Maybelline has been one of my favourite drugstore brands for (literally) years now. I think I started wearing their makeup when I was 16/17 and I’m now 30! So today I thought I would share with you my 3 favourite face base products from the brand.
First off we are starting with my favourite product that is a combo of skincare and makeup, it's the Maybelline Super Stay up to 24H Skin Tint Foundation + Vitamin C, £12.99. If you like a natural, glowy looking foundation rather than a full coverage formula then this is your new best friend. Made with Vitamin C to brighten and treat your skin while you're wearing it , this foundation gives you a natural, weightless finish. I love wearing this tint on days when my skin doesn't need a lot of coverage and this formula is buildable so some days you can wear it natural and other days build up for a medium finish.
Next up we have the glow in a bottle, it's the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Primer, Concealer, Highlighter, £12.99. This is Maybelline's multi-use product, not only does it add glow to your complexion but it can be used as a primes, conceals, highlights, and evens skin tone. I love using when alternatively to my Hollywood Flawless Filter, sometimes I'll use under my eyes before foundation to brighten or all over my face to add coverage / prime. I haven't used it as a foundation yet but I've seen some people using it as their foundation which if you had dry skin I think could wear really well.
Lastly, if a glowy face base isn't your thing or you want more of a fuller coverage I think you'll prefer the Maybelline Superstay 30hr Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid 30ml, £10.99. Unlike the previous 2 products this foundation is our matte option for those oily combo people out there. Personally I love this formula because yes it is a full coverage, matte finish but it's made with hyaluronic acid so it's protecting your skin while being worn. Though I love a lot of matte formulas I personally use this one the most because it is also transfer-resistant, water-resistant and sweat-resistant so if you have a problem with your makeup moving, your safe!
So there we go, you don't need to spend lot's of money to get great products and if you're shopping for drugstore makeup I really recommend checking out Maybelline because their newer products are amazing!!! As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Summer 2024 Lifestyle and Beauty Essentials.
Lifestyle
Tumblr media
1. Eco-Friendly Fashion Sustainable fashion is at the forefront this summer. Opt for clothing made from organic or recycled materials, and explore thrift stores for unique, vintage finds. Brands that focus on ethical production and eco-friendly practices are the go-to choices. Look for versatile pieces that can be styled in multiple ways, reducing the need for excessive consumption.
Tumblr media
2. Wellness Routines Prioritizing wellness is key. Incorporate daily practices like yoga, meditation, or journaling to maintain mental clarity and reduce stress. Engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, or beach volleyball to stay active and soak up the sun. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables will help you feel your best.
Tumblr media
3. Social Media Breaks Taking breaks from social media can enhance your overall well-being. Dedicate time to unplug and immerse yourself in nature or hobbies you enjoy. This will help you form deeper connections with friends and family and appreciate the present moment without the constant distraction of digital devices.
Beauty Essentials
Tumblr media
1. Sunscreen and Skincare Protecting your skin from the sun is crucial. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, and reapply every two hours when outdoors. Hydration is essential, so use lightweight moisturizers and serums with ingredients like hyaluronic acid. Incorporate antioxidant-rich products to combat environmental stressors and keep your skin glowing.
Tumblr media
2. Natural Makeup Look This summer, embrace a natural, effortless makeup look. Opt for tinted moisturizers or BB creams that even out your skin tone without feeling heavy. Cream blushes and bronzers provide a fresh, dewy finish, while a swipe of mascara and a tinted lip balm complete the look. Bold, colorful lip tints can add a playful touch for special occasions.
Tumblr media
3. Haircare Must-Haves Maintain healthy hair with UV-protectant sprays and nourishing hair masks. Embrace your natural texture with beachy waves or soft curls, using minimal heat styling to prevent damage. Accessories like headbands, scarves, and hair clips are perfect for adding a stylish flair while keeping hair out of your face during hot days.
Tumblr media
4. Sustainable Beauty Products Choose beauty products that are kind to the environment. Look for brands offering refillable packaging and cruelty-free formulations. Multi-use products, like lip and cheek tints, reduce the number of items you need, making your beauty routine more efficient and eco-friendly.
Tumblr media
Summer 2024 is all about embracing sustainability, wellness, and natural beauty. By incorporating these lifestyle and beauty essentials, you can enjoy a season filled with health, happiness, and effortless style.

Teen Eric headcanons
(Originally I wanted to write an one-shot for Eric’s birthday, but I ended up focusing on a multi-chaptered fic of mine, so I wouldn’t make it on time for the 1st of July. I wrote this instead, because I also had no ideas to draw, and I figured headcanons would be better than nothing.)
Eric never quits his habit of overeating, but grows rather tall regardless, due to the genes from his father’s side of the family. His full height is about 6 feet 1, and he ends up being the tallest out of the main four (and Butters) in high-school and later on in adulthood.
Actually has naturally really nice skin, with no acne or zits and very smooth. Though he does help a bit by putting on some skincare products that he’d never let anyone besides Liane find out that he uses. (Because that’d be “gay”.)
Stops wearing a hat for the most part because it keeps messing up his hair. And he spends quite a bit of time combing it and taking care of it. (Not that he’d tell anyone.)
Has a cute, small, round nose and thin, nicely-shaped eyebrows.
Of course he’s still heavy (over 105kg or 231 pounds), but as he was growing taller the weight has been distributed to his body more gracefully, so he is more bulky than he is “fat”, though his belly is still quite visible and his cheeks are round.
Dresses semi-formally even on regular days at school. Button-up shirts, corduroy pants, suede shoes, trench coats occasionally, things like that. Likes to brag about how expensive the brands are all the time.
His overall situation has not been getting any better with time. On the contrary, the more that time passes, the worse he gets mentally. He lashes out and is rude at innocent people far more easily, gets more irritable and is more prone to anger bursts.
Eric is unbearable to be around to the point their group almost splits up. It becomes a vicious cycle and the less Kyle, Stan and Kenny want to hang out with him, the more he clings to his racist ideals.
The only friend who mostly remains by his side is Butters, whom he often involves in schemes in order to make money.
Like it happened with his therapist’s wife, he has caused more people who irritated him once or twice to commit suicide, as, after that and the incident with Scott, he steadily only becomes bolder with what he can get away with.
His relationship with Liane also worsens over time. After several failed attempts to try and control him, Liane eventually regresses back to her usual ways and tries to give him anything he wants, because of how detrimental and exhausting arguing with him all the time is.
He still experiences hallucinations every now and then. He stopped seeing his stuffed animals around when he was about 15, but Cupid Me persisted.
Liane has tried to take him to therapists (for…everything) but Eric does not believe he needs help, thinks him going there is a violation of his rights and is always hostile to the doctors, therefore, they have to cut ties after less than two months.
He is nearly always unable to sit through an entire period without causing some kind of disturbance in the classroom. Be it bothering his classmates (Kyle especially) or casually pulling his phone out, and expects no repercussions about anything. Hence, he’s always exasperated and irritated when a teacher reprimands him.
It isn’t often that teachers reprimand him, however, because he almost always shouts at them even at a simple “be quiet, Eric”, and given that his worsening mental condition is obvious, they are unsure and/or afraid of what he might do, as he can be unpredictable. So they prefer to return home with a headache, rather than try to get Eric to behave.
He has gotten into trouble with the principal for being caught owning nazi paraphernalia, and Liane was also informed, but Eric never bothered to reconsider about stopping to buy such items.
For a couple of weeks, he attended the meetings of a far-right organization, but eventually quitted because “they were sitting on their asses all day long”.
Wanted to get a swastika tattoo on his arm, but he chickened out at the last minute because he was scared of the pain.
He ran for president of the student council in 12th grade, but he was elected vice-president, and his pride could not afford Wendy being elected president, so he quitted on his own.
Has managed to teach himself nearly fluent German, semi-fluent Spanish and a bit of French.
Unsurprisingly, he does not do well in school except for German class. His grades in the other subjects are just… tragic. But he doesn’t care because he thinks that studying and getting into college is “overrated anyway”.
Eventually grows out of crossdressing, but still goes through a crisis about his sexuality. Luckily for him, his primary attraction is females, which makes it easier for him to repress the part of his brain that is attracted to males.
They have an on-and-off kind of relationship with Heidi ever since 10th grade. Heidi was understandably reluctant to date him after what she had gone through in 4th grade, but Eric managed to convince her that he has changed, and that he’s a different, better person.
He loves bragging about having a girlfriend, and tells lots of stories about how their relationship progresses (though some are fake, or have a bit of an extra spice to them).
Not all girls find him as intolerable to look at anymore. Though, of course, they still can’t stand his personality, which is why, since Eric really wanted a girlfriend, he chose to go to Heidi, whom he knew he could convince of his change.
He has a small crush on Wendy, but he’d rather give all his progress in a video game up than ever admit it to anyone even to himself.
He often sleeps over at Heidi’s place without letting Liane know beforehand, and when he returns the next morning, she doesn’t bat an eye. (Heidi’s parents are a different story, however.)
A few months before the end of 12th grade he takes up smoking. At first he just thinks that it looks “kinda cool” but eventually he ends up actually liking it.
He gets warnings about how his habits are going to affect his health badly in the long term, but he always ignores people. Eric always thinks he knows better than anybody else around him.
Alright, so, that about does it for the headcanons. I’d also like to share a few songs that I personally strongly associate with Eric (even if not all the lyrics fit him perfectly):

I need some advice on skincare! I will never have the executive function for a multi-step routine. But I currently don't do any skincare at all. I have oily skin and pimples. I want to have smoother skin that doesn't induce my dermatillomania ;-;
Just the names of some products will do.
I don't know where to start, and I'm scared of looking it up online because it's all just ads for expensive things. I'm not looking for brands, more so looking for Types of products, like "sunscreen" and so on. (That's the only thing I know 😅)

The Science Behind K-Beauty Products: A Deep Dive into Skincare Technology
When we think of Korean beauty, it's easy to get lost in the aesthetic appeal, the rituals, and the vast array of products. But what's truly fascinating about K-beauty is the intricate science underpinning it. In this journey, we'll delve deep into the scientific innovations of K-beauty, supported by trusted references, while highlighting some of the best products offered by Aigoo.
Rooted in Tradition
At the foundation of Korean skincare lies a deep respect for nature and its healing properties. For centuries, natural ingredients such as green tea, ginseng, and rice have been pivotal in skincare. These are not just folklore remedies but are backed by modern scientific studies, revealing their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties.
Innovative Formulations and Techniques
The magic of K-beauty is its ability to marry age-old wisdom with state-of-the-art technology. For instance, fermentation, an ancient Korean technique, is widely used to break down ingredients into smaller molecules for better absorption. Brands in the industry, like those featured on Aigoo, employ advanced methods to enhance the benefits of traditional ingredients.
Targeted Solutions for Every Skin Concern
One of the reasons K-beauty has won hearts worldwide is its tailored approach. Every skin type and concern, from acne-prone to hyperpigmentation, has a specific solution. This isn't a coincidence but the result of extensive research. Scientific studies back ingredients like snail mucin for repair or centella asiatica for soothing irritated skin.
Skin First, Makeup Second
The K-beauty philosophy revolves around treating the skin as a canvas. This means prioritizing skincare to achieve a healthy base before makeup application. The ethos is grounded in understanding the skin's anatomy and physiology. Hydration, for instance, is crucial because well-hydrated skin functions optimally, leading to fewer issues and a radiant complexion. Dive into Aigoo's moisturisers collection to explore hydration options tailored for various skin types.
Safety and Efficacy
K-beauty products undergo stringent testing standards. Brands are committed to ensuring products are both safe and effective, underpinned by rigorous scientific research. This emphasis on credibility and trust is echoed by Aigoo, which curates only the best, science-backed products for its audience.
The Power of Layering
K-beauty is renowned for its multi-step routines, and there's a science behind it. Each product is formulated to serve a unique purpose, and when applied in a specific sequence, the skin can absorb the maximum benefits from each layer. From essences that prepare the skin to ampoules that deliver concentrated ingredients, there's a method to the layering madness. To get a sense of this meticulous process, one can explore the range of products at Aigoo.
Conclusion: A Symphony of Tradition and Technology
The global admiration for K-beauty is not just about trends or elaborate routines. It's an appreciation for a skincare culture that seamlessly blends centuries-old traditions with advanced scientific research. At the heart of K-beauty lies a dedication to understanding the skin and its needs deeply. As skincare enthusiasts, we at Aigoo invite you to dive into this world where nature, tradition, and science harmoniously converge, offering transformative experiences for your skin.

K-beauty Recovery Reaction! Concentrated Care Guide
Hello! Hello! Hello!
I'm Kim Daehan, the representative of incellderm , the No.1 cosmetics brand in Korea!
Exciting news! Riman Korea has expanded its reach to the United States and Canada! Wow! Applause!! Now, let me guide you on how to become a "Beauty Planner" in the US and Canada!
🌈 INCELLDERM able&co us. Becoming a Beauty Planner!
[must read]How to Join as a Beauty Planner - Step by Step Guide(Click)
🌈 Expansion of Incellderm to the United States and Canada! We are excited to announce that Incellderm is now available in the United States and Canada! Customers in these regions can now experience the benefits of our premium skincare products. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"If you are an Incellderm business owner&beauty planner, one thing you must absolutely master is 'Positive Reaction (Skin Regeneration Reaction).' Isn't it the immediate reaction that stands out? The cause of typical positive reactions and detailed coping methods:
Customers experiencing positive reactions show a variety of individual responses, which is why you need to continuously study. I also realized that my knowledge and coping methods regarding positive reactions are insufficient, which could lead to adverse effects on skin management.
Positive Reaction Q&A:
When using Incellderm, various positive reactions appear.
What is a Positive Reaction? Similar to traditional Korean medicine's 'Myeonghyeonbanhaeng' (明顯班現), it refers to a phenomenon where the skin temporarily worsens before improving. Understanding the principle behind positive reactions allows you to enjoy the process as the accumulated epidermal toxins are expelled, and the dermal layer gets replenished. Familiarize yourself with the typical symptoms of positive reactions, their underlying principles, and appropriate coping strategies."
🌈 Itching
Q: Some people experience itching after using Incellderm. Why does this happen?
A: Itching is a clear sign that the dermal layer is undergoing some changes. Incellderm is formulated using the drug delivery system called 'liposome.' The active ingredients of the multi-layered liposome penetrate the skin rapidly, stimulating the capillaries and causing the sensation of itching. This is because new blood vessels are formed, and new skin is generated as the wound heals and the scab falls off. The itching usually occurs in the initial stages but does not last long. However, if the itching persists, it may be necessary to investigate other causes.
Mild Irritation: Itchy sensation accompanied by a feeling like environmental factors are causing it, similar to having hair or insects stuck to the face. ▶ In the basic skincare routine, apply calming gel and serum generously. (Apply the calming gel first and then the serum on top of it.)
Itching Accompanied by Warmth: Caused by strong penetration. ▶ Adjust the application order - Cream → Serum (As the amino acid components in the booster may cause warmth and tingling, reduce the amount of booster used.)
Itching in Trouble or Wounded Areas: Caused by tiny wounds on the skin, often seen in sensitive skin. ▶ Adjust the application area (avoid using on troubled or wounded areas), and to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, apply sun gel frequently when going out. Also, maintain excellent hygiene.
Severe Itching: If you experience intense itching that does not subside even when scratched, you should discontinue use. Be cautious about secondary infections caused by scratching with your hands. (Avoid scratching or irritating the skin with your hands as much as possible.) If you have atopic dermatitis, you should seek medical treatment. Please note that the translation provided here is for informational purposes, and it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional or an expert for personalized advice and solutions related to any skin issues.
🌈 Dead Skin Cells (Keratinization)
Tumblr media
Q: I used to have few dead skin cells, but after using Incellderm, I am experiencing an increase in dead skin cells. Why is this happening?
A: When using Incellderm, the 'keratinization cycle (the cycle of skin cells being generated and shed)' accelerates. In healthy individuals, the keratinization cycle typically takes around 28 days. However, as one ages and undergoes the process of aging, the keratinization cycle also lengthens. For instance, in their 40s, it could be around 40 days, in their 50s, it could be around 50 days, and so on.
Incellderm activates the cells in the dermal layer, pushing accumulated dead skin cells quickly to the surface and normalizing the keratinization cycle. Therefore, you may notice more dead skin cells than usual.
Additionally, dead skin cells are a process of expelling remnants of synthetic surfactants accumulated in the body. As epidermal toxins and impurities are eliminated, the skin tone becomes clearer and brighter.
Please note that you should distinguish dead skin cells from 'psoriasis.' Psoriasis is a condition where unshed dead skin cells accumulate and form a thick armor-like barrier on the skin, causing it to become hard and rigid. For psoriasis, it is essential to seek medical treatment from a dermatologist.
Dry Dead Skin Cells: This refers to fine, dandruff-like flaking, especially around the jawline. This is caused by nutritional deficiency between dead skin cells.
▶ Avoid artificial peeling using washcloths or exfoliating products. Instead, opt for gentle cleansing and moisturizing, allowing dead skin cells to shed naturally. (Drink plenty of water.)
Oily Dead Skin Cells: This type of dead skin cells appear in the form of clumps due to the combination of sebum and dead skin cells, resembling dirt.
▶ Oily dead skin cells can block pores and cause skin troubles, so make sure to perform deep cleansing frequently.
Deep Cleansing Method: Create a rich foam with an active powder cleanser using a foaming tool and apply it to the entire face except the eye area, leaving it on for 2-3 minutes. After some time, when the foam penetrates into the pores, rinse with lukewarm water.
If you have attempted exfoliation:
▶ Refrain from additional peeling as it can worsen the condition and cause further irritation. Instead, opt for regular moisturization using calming gel and stay hydrated.
🌈 Facial Redness, Tingling Sensation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Q: Some people experience redness and occasional tingling sensations on their faces.
A: The development of facial redness and increased redness is often due to skin dehydration. The same applies to tingling sensations. When the skin is dry, especially when it is extremely dry, it means that under a microscope, the lipids between the keratin cells have collapsed, resulting in cracked and flaky skin. In this state, with the lipid layer being disrupted, moisture can easily penetrate, leading to tingling sensations.
This sensation is similar to how steam rises and heat is generated when water is poured onto a dry rice paddy. Usually, tingling sensations and warmth go hand in hand.
Warmth is a typical symptom of the abundant penetration of amino acids. The main ingredients in boosters and serums, amino acids are quickly absorbed into the dermis, causing this sensation. Adjusting the application order is recommended for better results. (Use in the order of sensitivity: Cream -> Serum -> Booster.)
🌈 Red Spots
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Q: How should I deal with the appearance of red spots?
A: Red spots often occur due to external factors. If they come and go like hives (urticaria), it might be a positive reaction. However, if a specific area continues to worsen, it is more likely to be dermatitis, and you should seek advice from a dermatologist.
If accompanied by itching: The possibility of contact dermatitis is high (e.g., touching your face with dirty hands). Itching is often caused by skin dehydration.
▶ Avoid dry environments and ensure proper hydration. In the basic skincare routine, using oil mist and calming gel can be helpful. Applying sun gel regularly will provide moisture and soothing benefits to the skin.
Fever and rash: Some people frequently wash their face to cool down, but excessive washing can actually dry out the skin.
▶ Reduce the frequency of washing and focus on moisturizing and soothing. Differentiate between hives and dermatitis, and if it's dermatitis, discontinue the use of products.
Occurrence in specific areas (around the eyes, nose, and mouth): Increased activity of sebaceous glands is the main cause. This symptom appears due to an imbalance in the oil and moisture levels.
▶ Perform deep cleansing and restore the oil-moisture balance in the basic skincare routine, especially using oil mist. For the specific area with red spots, take a break from using boosters, serums, and creams, and instead, apply calming gel to prevent enlarged pores.
(Dab calming gel on a cotton pad and apply it to the specific area.)
🌈 Facial Swelling
Q: My face looks swollen, as if it's puffy. Is this a side effect?
A: It is not a side effect. Incellderm is designed to be absorbed into the skin. However, if a customer using the product has poor peripheral circulation due to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or other reasons, the absorbed cosmetics may become stagnant in the skin, leading to swelling.
If you have been taking medication for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or other conditions for a long time, it is advisable to give yourself a period of one or two months to adapt to the product.
Excessive Use: Swelling can occur due to excessive protein intake.
▶ In particular, avoid excessively using cream, as it can cause issues. (Reduce the amount used.)
Swelling Accompanied by Warmth and Itching: This is common among those who frequent saunas or steam rooms.
▶ Avoid saunas and ensure consistent soothing using cold packs or cold compresses.
Switching from Other Products: Accumulated toxins in the skin might be the cause. Chemical cosmetics often contain harmful substances that can accumulate in the skin. When switching to Incellderm from other cosmetics, these toxins may try to be expelled but get stuck, leading to swelling.
▶ To aid in the smooth elimination of toxins, perform lymph node massage. After showering, mix booster and serum in a ratio of 7:3 and apply it to areas such as behind the ears, armpits, and groin, where lymph nodes are located.
Uneven Swelling: This is also often caused by excessive usage. Excessive cream application can lead to mucous edema.
▶ Maintain consistent soothing while adjusting the amount of product used.
🌈 Hyperpigmentation, Freckles, Skin Tone Changes
Q: After using Incellderm, I've noticed an increase in freckles. Also, why does my skin tone keep fluctuating between looking good and bad?
A: It usually takes about 3 to 6 months for melanin spots that were in the dermis to rise to the epidermis. So, it's not possible for freckles to appear immediately after using Incellderm.
The melanocytes that create freckles are located in the innermost layer of the epidermis called the basal layer. What we see as freckles is actually melanocytes filled up to the stratum corneum layer. When you start using Incellderm, the skin condition improves rapidly, and the melanocytes in the basal layer are pushed up to the stratum corneum, so it may seem like freckles are increasing for a while.
However, with continuous use of the product, freckles will gradually become lighter and clearer.
During the initial 7 to 15 days of product usage, the skin tone becomes clearer due to various beneficial cell growth factors, and after about 15 days, the skin tone may fluctuate between good and bad.
This is because the skin, as a tissue composed of cells, promotes cell division when stimulated by various growth factors, much like when it was young. The promotion of cell division means that what was inside the skin is pushed up, which also means that more dead skin cells are produced.
Cells born in the skin rise to the surface and stay there in the form of dead skin cells until they eventually fall off. This process is called turnover, and the normal turnover cycle of healthy skin is about 28 days. Incellderm promotes this skin regeneration process, and the time it becomes visible to the naked eye is around 7 to 15 days after using the product. This is when you might notice your skin tone fluctuating between looking good and bad.
External factors such as pregnancy, genetics, medication use, hormonal changes, and weakened immunity can also cause these phenomena.
If you have undergone treatments for removing freckles or freckle-like pigmentation, the condition you're experiencing might be due to dermal freckles surfacing, and they can reappear at any time.
Neglecting sun protection: Many people tend to focus only on using boosters, serums, and creams and overlook the use of sun gel when going outside (e.g., applying only cream before going out). Proper sun protection is crucial to prevent hyperpigmentation and freckles.
Temporary darkening or dullness of the skin: This is a natural fluctuation in the brightness of the skin and will improve on its own over time.
🌈 Tightness, Dryness
Q: When I use the product, I feel tightness and dryness. What is the reason behind this?
A: The skin is a very thin tissue and cannot distinguish well between the sensation of collagen being formed, which causes tightness, and the dry feeling on the surface due to the dry stratum corneum layer.
When spider-web-like collagen is produced and released, it resists gravity and lifts the skin back up, resulting in a feeling of tightness and increased skin elasticity.
In the case of Incellderm, both of these effects occur:
Inner Tightness: Enjoy this sensation as it is the lifting effect due to collagen production. However, be cautious not to use the product excessively due to misunderstanding.
Surface Dryness (Epidermal Dryness): Proper cleansing and sufficient moisturization are necessary. If the tightness is severe, applying a generous amount of calming gel like a pack before going to bed can help alleviate the sensation.
Insufficient Moisturization: Surprisingly, many people don't drink enough water during the day. Make sure to drink around 2 liters of water daily. Sufficient moisturization enhances the absorption of boosters, serums, and creams. You can think of it like a dry sponge that repels water versus a slightly damp sponge that absorbs more water. Improving lifestyle habits is also important. Consuming salty and carbonated foods, as well as coffee, can deplete the body's moisture.
Dermis Cracking: Although rare, if your skin cracks and bleeding occurs, immediately discontinue the use of the product and seek advice from a dermatologist.
Remember that finding the right balance in product usage and maintaining good skincare habits can help address the tightness and dryness issues effectively.
🌈 Expression Lines
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Q: The product I'm using has dual functionality for whitening and wrinkle improvement, but why do I feel like I have more wrinkles now?
A: The cause of wrinkles is the aging of collagen tissues in the dermis, which makes the boundary between the epidermis and dermis uneven. When collagen in the dermis starts to be produced and released like spider webs, the boundary between the epidermis and dermis becomes uneven for a while, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles that weren't there before. However, the wrinkles caused by the product's use do not last long. As wrinkles appear and disappear repeatedly, the dermis gradually fills up, and the boundary between the epidermis and dermis becomes flatter. As a result, the skin's surface becomes smoother, leading to the ultimate wrinkle improvement effect.
Expression lines are wrinkles that occur when unabsorbed ceramides (*ceramides are ingredients most similar to skin cells, and Incellderm products are manufactured using the method of encapsulating active ingredients with ceramides to deliver them to the dermis). This phenomenon can appear as if a vinyl wrap is applied to the skin. This occurs when the product is used excessively, so reducing the amount used can help.
Especially when you apply too much cream around the eye area, it can irritate the delicate skin around the eyes and lead to the appearance of expression lines. To address these expression lines, reduce the amount used and make sure to thoroughly moisturize the area.
By maintaining the proper usage of the product and paying attention to how much is applied, you can achieve the desired results without experiencing any unwanted effects on your skin.
🌈 Troubles (Skin Issues)
Tumblr media
Q: I have developed pimples. What should I do?
A: Pimples and other skin troubles can occur from time to time. In particular, women may experience recurring pimples in relation to their menstrual cycles.
One of the causes of skin troubles is the accumulation of epidermal toxins. Conventional cosmetics use a mixture of water and oil with synthetic surfactants, which may contain harmful epidermal toxins. People who have used chemical cosmetics in the past may have a higher likelihood of having epidermal toxins accumulated in their skin. When using Incellderm products, as the overall condition of the skin improves and the epidermal toxins are eliminated from the skin, a reaction like the improvement of pimples can occur. To minimize such reactions, it is advisable to start using the product with a small amount and gradually increase it to allow for an adaptation period.
Pustules (Pus-filled pimples): They can occur from overusing the product. This is caused by insufficient absorption of protein, leading to the formation of skin troubles. Adjust the usage amount and pay attention to moisturizing. The primary cause of pustules is lack of moisture. When there is not enough moisture, pimples are more likely to form. If pimples have already appeared, apply a calming gel pack to the affected area. (Dip a cotton pad in calming gel and place it on the affected area.)
Comedones (Blackheads and whiteheads): These occur when sebum becomes trapped under the layer of dead skin cells in the pores. Use deep cleansing at least once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells.
Vesicles (Inflammatory bumps): If skin troubles are accompanied by vesicles, it is not a reaction caused by using Incellderm products. These are caused by internal factors such as herpes virus or shingles. In such cases, immediately stop using the product and seek medical treatment.
Prolonged use of a specific brand: Skin troubles can occur due to the residual synthetic surfactants from the prolonged use of conventional chemical cosmetics.
🌈 Other Improvement Reactions
Q: Could it be flat warts?
Tumblr media
A: It is easy to confuse flat warts with comedones (blackheads and whiteheads). Flat warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) and are often seen when the immune system is weakened. Flat warts are highly contagious, so avoid squeezing them and seek dermatological treatment promptly.
Q: My eyes feel irritated, teary, and uncomfortable, as if there's something in my eyes.
A: Incellderm products are designed to penetrate deep into the skin, so as you age, around your 40s to 50s, your eyes may feel uncomfortable for a while. People with dry eye syndrome may experience this discomfort. The beneficial ingredients in the product help improve the function of the tear glands, leading to increased tear production. With continuous use and adaptation, your eyes should no longer feel uncomfortable.
Q: I haven't lost weight, but people say my face looks smaller, as if I've lost weight.
A: As you age, the skin inside the face may become less dense, and due to gravity, the skin can start to sag. However, with Incellderm products, the skin inside becomes gradually filled, and with consistent use for about 6 months to 1 year, the skin is lifted, resulting in a balanced facial line and making your face appear smaller.

Story time/skincare ranting :
A friend of mine used a celebrity skincare product (I won't name it) and though on application it looked like she had the perfect glass skin and hydrated lips, it backfired like a bi**h. He whole face especially the areas around the lip started kind of peeling and not in a good way. She is someone who is always the first one to hop onto trends and get the in trend products and now it has backfired. We had to take her to the hospital last night because of how badly it burned. She is alright now and turns out she is allergic to one of the many ingredients listed on the product.
So if you are someone who is like her, just remember that yes it's true that some products might work but there is a high chance that most of them won't do shit. With skincare being a boom and everyone having a multi step skincare routine, I would advise you to save your money and consult a dermatologist so that you would know what kind of product and in what concentration suits your skin best. I don't know how much dermatologists charge in your city/country but it is still better than wasting 100$ on a skincare. Because you will save money in the long run. Your skin is an organ and it needs a specialist when in trouble just like all the other organs.
For example, 20% vitamin C works for me but for my friend who has the same skin issues as I do and uses the same brand of serum a 10-15% suits her best. Moreover, all the skincare tiktoks and reels that you see, the ones selling you the latest skincare in the Market are kind of lying to you. Think about it, does ANY product work in one go? Any?! No. It might make your skin look glossy and healthy but that doesn't mean that it's working. A good product takes time.
I have suffered from severe acne and I have used tretinoin for over two years now and I can say it is the most reliable product for me but even that took at least 4 weeks to show results for me. No product will work in less than 4 weeks. Your skin takes time to adjust to a product so don't keep on introducing new products in your skincare routine just because it worked for someone on tiktok. If you find a product then stick to it regardless what others are using. What works for you works for you.
So no you don't need the fancy packaging product to have good skin. Do not trust the celebrities who get 1000$ facials every week and tell you that their skin is that way because of a product that they launched. I'm not saying that it won't work for you, it might. But it's the ingredient that works for you and not the brand. You can find the same formulation in a more affordable and established brand. 4 years ago I used to spend most of my money on trending skincare and it worked for a while but then it all backfired! So I consulted a dermatologist two years ago and she told me that the reason why these brands are expensive is because they spend heavily on marketing but the original brands that have been making skincare for decades don't need marketing and that's when she introduced me to tretinoin. I use serums too but they are legit half the price of viral serums and works the same if not better. I had to de-influence myself and it worked wonders.
I don't know if you read it but I had to get it off my chest. I don't want you to end up in hospital like my friend did. ✌️
