Little Nostlagia Spread ~ 🍅✨️
Yall I was so into BB when I was younger (like 5 years ago....). Some of their old old songs like A Good Man and Foolish Love have my heart.
Anyways , anyone else romanticise their teen years ? My teen self would attack me with a knife if she knew how rosy I make it out to be (she was in the trenches) 🙂‍↕️✨️
Also pls pls pls come visit me on IG; I'm trying to make friends but its just me lol : @mellowlow__ 🍅✨️

Wanderer: As you know I keep a list of all my friends in order of how likely they are to betray me.
Nilou: Where am I on the list?
Wanderer: Well I can’t tell you that because then you’ll quickly move up or down depending on your reaction.

I am in LOVE with this journal from muji, because you can simply open the ring binder and add paper.
This is amazing for several reasons:
1. i can make ugly notes and don’t have to worry about ripping them out or ruining my journal
2. i can organize my workflow better. Keep the yearly spread, change the monthly ones, etc. I can sort by priority, by recent notes by ANYTHING
3. i can make my journal as heavy or light as i want for traveling purposes
4. i can archive months i do not need anymore in a separate journal & reuse the current cover
5. less waste! i only need to rebuy the paper.
Cons:
- Usually i go for thicker and doted (dotted?) paper, but maybe i can change that over time. Muji didn’t have that option in the store i was in.
- Right now the ink is bleeding through because the paper is so thin :(
- The ring binder is made out of plastic so that’s not as good for the environment and not as nice to touch as other materials (but fine)

The only reason I take pictures when I visit places is to use them as references for loose drawings while on the train hehe,, here are some spreads w my recent exploits,, also did I ever mention I hate drawing digitally?? I don’t know why but I’m awful at it I love pens (MUJI 0.38 my beloved)

My GM Loadout
Tumblr media
Knave 2e for characters & core mechanics. Some light houseruling for things like initiative & reactions using community ideas I've read online, in Knock!, and some of my own homebrewings.
jodthecod's Knave 2 character sheet
OSE Referee's tome for monster stats and magic items.
The Monster Overhaul to flesh out NPCs and monsters. Maybe use the statblock if I prefer it over OSE.
To make dungeons, I use the six room dungeon generator. I populate it with traps I've garnered from random tables around the net, most notably 34 good traps. Lots of random tables in Knave to help with dressing & themes, npc motivations, etc.
OSE GM screen has the best art. I use the 2 knave end leaf spreads and some of my own houseruling notes blutacked on the inside.
A5 Binder for rearrangeable campaign notes, tracking dungeon turns, monster HP etc.
I keep all the books and notes I can in a a5 card box from Muji.
Meeples as miniatures when combat gets too tricky for theatre of the mind. Pictured: fighting peryton (donkeys) on a fishing sloop with mercs (white) and sailors (green).
Tumblr media
A pint. Makes me dumber. Might be the one part of the setup I should do without maybe.

7/11/2024 • POV: You have lunch alone in a classroom so you spent your break preparing Bullet Journal spreads. things that happened today:
Booked my summer trip
Broke my Muji pencil class during a class (had it for 8 years!)
lost all my motivation to prepare lessons
planned to go see the new Studio Ghibli film with people from the Japan trip

I got a new inkpen yesterday, which I can fill with india ink and I‘m absolutely IN LOVE with it qwq
Tumblr media
Of course I had to make a sketchbook-spread for everything I have in my pencil case and take with me everywhere.
also I strive to have items that I can use for years and years and can swap out So from top to bottom:
Faber-Castell — mechanical pencil (the thiccc lead-refill kind): 6 years
Faber-Castell — ballpoint pen: close to 3 years (pf course I broke off the clippy thingy)
Indigraph — refillable india ink pen: got it yesterday
Pentel — brush-pen: 5 years (even tho they tell you not to do I am refilling it with india ink for 5 years now)
Stabilo Boss — highlighters in pastel orange and pastel violet: a 2 months (refillable)
Pentel — watertank brush: 5 years
Schmincke Horadam — 14 small pans of water colours in a travel size box: 3 years (I can get new pans whenever I run out)
What I also keep in my pencil case
MUJI — small ruler: 3 years
No-name — folder-stick (basically to help paper with a pre-folded line to fold) — 10 years
Faber-Castell — lead-refill pencil sharpener
Staedtler — Mars Plastic eraser: the only thing apart from refills I have to change it out regularly
A small ink vial with india ink to refill my pen.
If you would like an in-depth review on these, let me know!
