i took a short drawing course this week, got to draw lots of plaster casts of antique sculptures from the university's collection

i haven't scanned any art in approximately 12 years so the watercolor/neocolor ii drawings don't look super true to life in terms of colour and texture but it is what it is! next time it's sunny around here i might take some photos to see if i can manage to capture real deal TM better

i probably won't draw much for the rest of the month because i gotta write one last essay to finish off my MA degree but i might scan some existing stuff that i particularly like, like some watercolour croquis that i've been painting

Weekly spread for January week 1

& 2

It's a very simple spread no bougie stuff just daily todo lists and these spreads work the best for me. I'm overwhelmed enough with keeping my bujo updated I can't do all the unnecessary stuff just to keep up with all the "well being journaling" stuff. In a way these simple spreads are my way of maintains my well@being through journaling. Anyway it's exam season, lots of stuff to do and little to no motivation.

The Chlorofawn

Habitat: Deep Woodland

"Despite its threatening appearance, the Chlorofawn is passive and slow. The bones on its face help protect against harmful sun rays and allows it to graze from thick, harsh terrain that other species may avoid. The fungi that grows on its back serves as food for insects- much like an olden-day sloth-who release rich nutrients into the fungi-blanket, nourishing the Chlorofawn and deflecting harsh atmospheric chemicals. These creatures are usually seen alone. Upon conflict, the Chlorofawn will opt for a flight response if able, but will use its thich facial bones to headbutt its enemy when necessary."
